  • @sldp123  thank you for sharing. it helps to hear other women's experiences. i'll just have to talk to my OB about it and see what she says!

R/R/CS:  big temp drop today, but I'm not sure if I can trust it since I woke up an hour before temp time to pee, and it was chilly in the apartment.  We'll see what tomorrow's temp does.  Hopefully this is my usual pre-O lowering that'll last a few days because if today was O, our timing will be not very good.

GTKY:  Marvel Cinematic Universe.  Hands down.  Ask me a question about it, and I probably know the answer.  I spent a couple hours yesterday trying to get a captain America civil war countdown into my siggy, but I didn't like any of my options that would work on here.  Stupid JavaScript incompatibility!  (Though I completely understand why they don't let us write script...)

I am back! I can't stand not replying!!

    Month/Cycle: 3/2

    CD:  15

    WAYDTGKU:  HIO, BBT, CM, OPK

R/R/CS:  WELP, all my CM is gone, BBT shot down yesterday and back up today, but I haven't had a positive OPK yet, pleaseeeeee let me get one today. This is the same thing that happened last month, I know it could just be a fluke, but I don't want it to be!!! I just want to O in a timely fashion!!!!! My boobs already hurt, which is weird, that didn't happen last month. Do you guys feel like your O symptoms usually line up? Or are they different every month :) I think I know the answer but had to ask anyway for my own sanity!

**Edit to add chart* Look at this craziness! If I pink my chart on day 35 of last month, BAM same thing...hahah...this means nothing but I am BSC, and you all understand...love everyone here for it!

GTKY:  what are you obsessed with/superfan of?  Hmmm....nothing really, I really like lots of things and tend to not get obsessed with a singular thing. Back in my high school days the Backstreet Boys, Backstreet's back alright!!!!!

@Dilynne here's the first few acronyms to get you going!

--Month/Cycle=how many months you've been TTC/how many cycles (since # of months may not equal # of cycles)
--CD=cycle day (first day of actual flow requiring a pad/tampon=CD1, and then you go from there)
--WAYDTGKU=what are you doing to get knocked up, for example BBT, OPKs, etc.  However much/little of what  you're doing that you feel like sharing.

@Megzb510 I had a similar confusing dip/peak/dip/shift a few cycles back and not that my experience=your experience, but honestly it does look like CD36 to me.  If that is the case, I really think you are by no means out with -3 timing!!  And damn long cycles and running out of OPKs.  I dream of a 50 pack getting me through 2 cycles.

@AndiPandi127 boo to your H's travel.  I'm sorry.

@sammajane19 I don't have any sage wisdom, but I just wanted to say that is so frustrating.  I would call NOW to set up an appointment on CD60 (so you can be sure to get in), and talk to your OB/GYN then about your cycle history and your concerns in addition to evaluating the Metformin. I hope you are able to get answers and back on cycle quickly.

    Month/Cycle:  7/6

    CD:  19

    WAYDTGKU:  charts, sticks, sex EOD

R/R/CS:  Still no peak on CBFM but my OPKs are definitely getting darker and CM is definitely putting me in the window.  CBFM is having me do testing once a day with FMU.  I caught a second +OPK with FMU a few months back after the initial +OPK in the evening but I'm doubtful CBFM is going to catch my peak (what did I pay $40 in sticks for?).  I'll add afternoon & evening OPKs just to be on the safe side.

GTKY:  what are you obsessed with/superfan of?  I am pretty reserved with my obsessions/fandom, but deep down for both my H and I it's real-life hero/fighter stuff.  (Hooyah Senior Chief Byers!!)  A close second is nursing stuff.

  • I introduced myself on the intro thread and on yesterday's WTO post, but I posted right before bed.  So here's a little intro... :) I was a lurker on TB with my first two pregnancies - posted here and there sometimes - and have been lurking for the past couple of weeks.  DH and I are both 30 and he had been ready to start trying for #3 for a good year or two before I was ready.  We aren't telling anyone we are TTC because my family is well meaning...but very persistent in asking questions about that area and I don't want to deal with it.  I also don't feel like we will get much support from MIL because she has made it very clear already that she thinks we should be done have kids.... Too bad it's not up to her!  I'm excited to join this journey with all of you.

Month/Cycle: 1/1 - Been NTNP for several months before that.

    CD:  2

WAYDTGKU:  I'll be charting all the things.  Downloaded FF

R/R/CS:  Yesterday was a super productive day, which was awesome!  But I woke up with a migraine.  Thanks AF...

GTKY:  what are you obsessed with/superfan of?  The Bachelor!!!  I just can't stop watching.  I don't really have any friends that watch it, so I've made DH watch it with me.  He complains about it, but it's only to cover up the fact that he's super into it.  He fell asleep during one episode and woke me up in the middle of the night to ask who got sent home.

  • @megzb510 Another vote for CD36. Unfortunately discarding temps to get the outcome you want is not the best way and obviously will not actually change your O day. But like others said -3 timing is probably better that O day timing.

    @writeress Sorry for CD1

@thefarmerswife0411 Yay for making it through the party on Whole30! I have a co-worker who is vegan and we just went to Chicago for work. She had to pack all of her food for the 2 days. It is amazing. I could never do that 100% of the time.

@sammajane19 Yes cats count! My H is obsessed! He bought a cat calendar for 2016.

  • Thanks @sldp123 They do suck.  I've seen several GPs, my gyno, neuro, and most recently - plastic surgeon (talked about Botox), but waiting to try it out since I'm TTC.  I'm allergic to Imitrex and don't want to rely on pain pills.

Also, loving the Feb signature challenge!  The signatures are cracking me up (and also giving me some good ideas for next year... haha)

WAYDTGKU: I started temping and watching for EWCM so that I know my body before we actively TTC in my May/June cycle. Also started taking prenatals to build up my folic acid stores, which prompted DH to get really excited and accuse me of already being pregnant and just hiding it from him lol. I looked him right in the eyes and poured myself a glass of Moscato.

R/R/CS: Chart stalking is always welcome since I'm super new to this.

I tried to convince my boss last week that we should have today off since it's not normally a day in the year so it should be a holiday... unfortunately, he didn't bite..

  • @sldp123 my period is typically SUPER light.  Like not much more than spotting.  I sure the clomid would make me have more, but it's pretty much unchanged.  I can tell you that my lining was 8.5 at O.  The drug can cause it to thin, so I would think it is possible that is why you are having a lighter AF.  We are now officially CD twins with your re-assessment of CD1 ;)

@thefarmerswife0411 Yay for making it through the party on Whole30! I have a co-worker who is vegan and we just went to Chicago for work. She had to pack all of her food for the 2 days. It is amazing. I could never do that 100% of the time.

You know I was totally thinking that too, if I was gluten free or vegan 100% of the time I would have to prep/bring my own food ALL THE TIME. Because it sucks not being able to participate, eat, etc. While I do think in a public settling gluten-free & vegan menu items are increasing, in the private space like a party it's not something that is typically considered. I should have thought ahead & brought my own secret appetizer to the party to gorge on lol.

Also- YAY CHICAGO! I lived there the last 8 years, did you eat anywhere notable ?

Yeah, this past year my half brothers found out they were allergic to wheat (not gluten but wheat). One is so sensitive he cannot have certain spices that were packaged in a facility that also has wheat products. For Christmas we were able to make meals so both of them could eat everything. Luckily my whole30 experience helped.

I am from a rival place 3.5 hours north of Chicago ;). We were in Hoffman Estates and didn't have much time for food so we ate at a bunch of chain places that were nearby.

Disney and Harry Potter. DH says Disney is a lifestyle though, so I guess I'll say HP. I can read the books over and over again. I also like to find facts and spend time in pottermore.
  • Month/Cycle: 6/6

WAYDTGKU:  CM, HIO, working out, eating healthier and quit smoking

R/R/CS:  Between the IRS and my cable company I'm beyond frustrated

GTKY:  what are you obsessed with/superfan of? I'm obsessed with cleaning and a fan of babies!!
  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

WAYDTGKU: Waiting for AF to go away! 2 more days.

R/R/CS: Got my Mabis in the mail today!! I can officially start to temp tomorrow, so that's exciting! On the opposite end, I've been stressing a little bit lately for literally 0 reason. I am a worrier by nature, so I've been worrying a lot lately about the "what ifs" as in what if I have some type of fertility problem I don't know about, etc. I suppose most people don't know until after they've been trying, and I worry about being one of those people. And then I feel bad even saying that because I know so many of the women here are actually dealing with something real. I have to try to stay out of my head otherwise I will drive myself and DH crazy.

GTKY:  what are you obsessed with/superfan of?
I have an obsessive personality but I tend to flip flop. When I find something I love or that is important to me I dive in head first. Right now it's learning all about fertility and everything baby related. In terms of super fan, definitely Harry Potter! And just reading in general. And gaming.

  • I've been super busy all day - just now getting to this thread!

    Month/Cycle: 7/7 (1/1 post-lap)

WAYDTGKU: finally get to start HIO!! Temping, OPKs, CM/CP, all the usual.

R/R/CS: Well, my post-op appt went less-than-okay today. My incisions are healing nicely, but my doctor is concerned about how much endometriosis there was and how progressive it seems to be. He is giving us 6 months to continue trying on our own, and then he would like to refer me to an RE. So I've had kind of an emotional day. I know that's not the end of the world by any means, but I just really wasn't ready to hear that today. I guess in my head I thought the "clock" would start over now that I've had the laparoscopy and everything is clear. DH is convinced it will happen for us within the 6 months, and he's been great, but today was just a rough TTC day.

GTKY: Not sure about obsessed, but I really like many things: HP, of course, and I also enjoy LOTR. I pretty much pin every cute crochet pattern I come across on pinterest; does that count?

R/R/CS:  Gonna have to get creative this weekend, which I think is cutting close to O. Sharing a hotel suite with some family for a weekend getaway. We have our own bedroom, I think, but they will be very close.

GTKY:  what are you obsessed with/superfan of? "Two-faced" lipstick. I have to have a tube plus back up tube with me at all times. My lips give up without it, they flake and burn after like a day.

R/R/CS:  Sorry I've been MIA.  I have been so frustrated with my WTO I just needed a break.  I got my second peak LH surge today but still no temp shift to indicate O even though OPK and CM pointed towards O happening last week.  Honestly it's my first month temping and normally I would be due for AF today or tomorrow but I know your regular until your not.  So I guess it's just a steeper learning curve then I anticipated.

GTKY:  what are you obsessed with/superfan of? Harry Potter. Books. Movies. Fan Fics. I love it all
