I hope this is not an unpopular opinion, but I think it might be given the seeming preferences of all the apps I'm using:
I *hate* when the size-comparison images offered for baby are:
1. Spiky (seriously, is this birth thing not scary enough without you comparing baby to a pineapple?)
2. Phallic (that just seems weird. Surely there's a more accurately-sized vegetable out there than a cucumber?)
3. Completely unhelpful. (I don't know what squash are like where the app developers live, but in my world, acorn squash are tiny compared to spaghetti squash).
Re: UO Thursday
I love heels! Even when pregnant. Last time I wore them until two weeks before delivery. They are not uncomfortable to me and I feel like they make me look a little better in all my large and pregnant glory.
I'm a dog trainer and work at a dog daycare, and I completely understand that most owners don't understand how to train, and I don't expect everyone to have perfectly behaved dogs (or else I'd be out of business!). But if your dog has no self control- you need to keep him under control!!!
You would not believe how many people let their dog run up to me and jump on me *while I'm visibly pregnant*. Not just little dogs- big dogs, too. Even if I weren't pregnant, it is so rude to let your dog jump on people. I regularly come home with scratchmarks on my belly and legs, and that pisses me off even when I'm not pregnant. And I understand it's part of my job, but some people are ridiculous- they walk in the door, drop their dogs leash, and just watch as it runs up and slams into me.
Unless you have a perfectly trained dog with 100% reliability, keep them on their leash!

Yep! I said it! I use to love my snoogle and promote others getting one but that ship has sailed. As I've grown bigger my snoogle has become an octopus I must wrestle every night. I can't easily roll out of bed to pee 5x/ night with that thing in the way and I'm convinced that the jersey cover on mine is increasing my night sweats. At this point I just want a regular body pillow with a regular pillow case.

Really, ever. Idk why. I mean he's not ugly... but I just don't find him 'hot'.
I think it's crazy to spend an obscene amount of money on face wash/lotion. If you need to do this, go see a dermatologist first.
You don't find that hot?!?!?
Get. Out! Not a fan of Brad Pitt... but Johnny Depp, OMG.

Maybe from seeing him on TV or a movie once just rubbed me the wrong way. Plus I guess my type is more, dark hair, dark eyes, tan skin. My SO is latino so that's more my route. Or give me some Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel!

@dsmith211 Oh yes, definitely a thank you card, for sure!! I hosted my sister in laws baby shower (because she is quite a bitch and doesn't really have many friends) and didn't even get so much as a verbal thank you, let alone a thank you card! I did get a text a couple weeks after when she was doing thank you cards that said, "So I have one less card to write, thanks for the shower, I really appreciate it." Really?! I am the ONE you should have written a thank you to. I worked my butt off for her shower.

10 Minutes - Apply lotion everywhere. Deodorant. Brush teeth
5 minutes - Brush out wet hair. Add in some sort of volumizing product
15 minutes - Make up (moisturizer, foundation, powder, blush, eye-shadow, eye liner, mascara, brow shaping)
15-20 minutes - Blow dry hair with round brush, hair spray
Total time: 50-60 minutes
(Add ons - Another 10 minutes for smokey eye make-up if going out; Another 15 minutes for hair curling and beachy waves)
And that's on a good day. I hate getting dressed because it takes forever. I could put on less make-up. I could just rock frizzy hair. But, I care. What can I say? It's not that I want people to look at me and judge me one way or another. It's about making myself feel good and put together, so I do it for me. I work from home and generally look like a slob during the week (if anyone wonders why I've never participated in a HDBD), so when I do make an effort, that's what it takes. If you're someone that can do hair and make-up in 30 minutes and be happy with the results, I bow down to you. Consider yourself lucky.
