Finally moving forward, although slowly. Have an appointment with a dr who specializes in hysteroscopy's on 02/22 and then will schedule the procedure from there. Although at this point I know I'm definitely bumped to the April timeline, I'm feeling better about everything and know I'm in good hands.
Hey ladies just dropping by. I see so many are moving along nicely. I had my transfer today. All done and a little crampy! We transferred 2. We didn't get a grade though. Of the 11 fertilized only 5 made it so 3 left to freeze! We're so grateful. The full bladder was the worse lol. I ended up using the bedpan during my 20 min lying session and got some on the floor lol. Very embarrassing. Then my hubby freaked because he was scared that I pushed the embabies out lol. OMG this wait is going to be torture! We're almost there. Come on the 2/22 which is my beta! I will be testing though. Good luck ladies. I can't wait to keep reading all the good progress.

@sassysd7 - congrats! The bladder thing is the worst! Don't worry about it - I heard its very common to tinkle on the floor. If there is one thing I have learned from this whole process is that any sense of privacy shame before it out the window! And you most certainly didn't push them out! I worried about that at first too. Keep us progressing if you get any faint lines in the next week! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
AFM - got my new cycle. FET moved from 3/4 to 3/25 assuming my next saline sono comes back clear (scheduled for 2/23). So I might stay on both the Feb/March Boards as we'll as March/April Boards ;-)

I I had my baseline US and labs today. Labs are good, but my lining is thick for early on in the cycle at 7cm. Nurse said its supposed to be less than 6cm. They want me to come back in on Monday to repeat labs and US. If my lining doesn't thin by then I may not be able to move forward with FET. Has this happened to anyone? I'm really frustrated because my nurse didn't explain anything. I left her a voicemail asking for clarification. Hope she calls back soon.

@capps42613 - Good luck through your first cycle! I am hoping for a big BFP. Your protocol seems similar to my fresh cycle. The progesterone in oil is the worst one. My hubby rubbed it into my butt each night and I never ended up with any lumps. I don't know if that was b/c of him or I was just lucky! Mine just arrived in the mail today - oh joy!

@Joyzie77 I agree with Amanda call the office and see what they say. Our bodies can respond differently after retrieval. I had light flow for a few days and then it stopped. Sometimes it can be a little heavier but If your soaking a pad in under an hour then you may need to call their triage line ASAP.
@Rachd110 I also had lining issues in my last (cancelled) cycle, but the other way around, mine was too thin at only 4mm. If you have 7mm at the beginning of your cycle it might mean you never shed your lining properly during your period? My understanding is you are meant to build the new and fresh lining in the first 15 days of your cycle so the embryo can implant properly. I hope it still works out for you. I was devastated when they cancelled my cycle at the beginning, but now I am so happy that I have these extra weeks to start feeling better and take care of myself and do some acupuncture. I should also be doing FET around beginning of March. @Joyzie77 hope all is ok! Let us know yeah? Congrats on the ER @_Amanda_ great numbers! @sassysd7 congrats on the transfer. Did they give you a photo of embryo to take home?

@Joyzie77 after my retrieval last November I was spotting for a couple days. Only wore a panty liner. I know our bodies respond differently, but you should probably call your clinic. Especially if you're soaking a pad in 1-2 hours.

I went back in for my second baseline ultrasound this morning. My lining thinned to 5.6 mm. She actually took 3 measurements. Two were 5.6 and one was under 5. I'm really hoping this means I can proceed with my FET as planned. I'm so tired of waiting.

AFM- My egg donor is going for retrieval on Wednesday!! That means that when I wake up on Wednesday, I'll find out how many were retrieved (as she's in the Czech Republic) I'm SO excited! I hope finally to have a good number of eggs to work with! Her last cycle they retrieved 43!!

I have some funky spotting in this cycle (my last before IVF) and it's looking like my period might start much sooner than anticipated. This would have my on birth control for a couple of weeks, starting maybe this week? Then baseline and stims would start the first week of March, for a retrieval hopefully around March 20. Anyone else on a similar schedule?
@Rachd110 and @susykat77 ... Thanks for checking in. I did check with them and they said I was most likely getting my period. So, I went in today and they did bloodwork and an ultrasound. I start on birth control while we wait for the PGS testing. We have 4 embryos to test. Better than none. I just hope we have a few after testing. Fingers crossed!

Hi. I posted an intro a few days ago. My FET will be at the end of Feb or early March. I had 3 back to back retrievals, so I am excited to finally move on. We currently have 4 frozen embryos and am awaiting the testing results of 4 from the recent retrieval. We are hoping for one or two more normal embryos. I will start the transfer cycle before knowingthe results.
I hope to catch up with all of the posts in this thread so I can join in the discussion.
Life has just been really busy with other stuff with my dh and I to the point that I often feel like I'm going through this alone. It is always good to talk to others going through the same thing.
@LynnNJ good luck! My FET is scheduled for 3/3. This will be my first FET after a loss in December from a fresh IVF cycle. I'm excited to finally move forward.
I'm feeling pretty discouraged right now and need to vent. DH doesn't understand why I feel the way I do and just keeps telling me to be positive. If it were only that easy.
Yesterday our our donor went in for her egg retrieval and they retrieved 15 eggs and 12 were mature, of those 8 have fertilized. On day 5, whatever has made it will go for PGS testing. I know how this numbers game works. A good portion of those 8 won't make it to day 5 much less through the PGS testing. I expected for them to have more to work with - that is one of the reasons we went with a donor as well as the fact that my eggs seem to be few and far between and total crap.
I just feel pretty hopeless that this is ever going to work. I was hoping to have enough frozen to be able to try a few FET's in case the first one didn't work. In the donors last 2 cycles, they retrieved 22 and 42 eggs so was expecting 20-something eggs as well. After all the IVF's and experiencing a loss at ~9weeks, I thought we would be in a better position with a donor but I don't feel hopeful or confident that this is going to actually work out for us. I'm feeling pretty sad and angry.
Now, I have to go to work and hold back the tears and wait for an update on Monday - day 5.

@susykat77 hang in there, this is such a roller coaster! I know that you would have liked a few more eggs, but remember, it only takes one, and with the genetics testing you will have the best fighters to transfer! Did you do the pgs testing the pervious IVF?
My meds came in the mail yesterday. I had them delivered to my parents house since they need to be signed for, my dad works from home and we have been working schedules around two family members being in the hospital, 1 aunt with a heart attack and one great aunt moved into hospice care. I am very open about this whole process with them. I gave my dad all the instructions, open the box and put anything packed in foil with ice packs in the fridge, everything else can stay in the box. He called me so concerned that it was too much, too many needles, to many vials and bottles of pills. He was very concerned if it was safe and really thinks DH should have to get some shots too. It was really sweet how concerned he was.

@susykat77 I'm sorry you are frustrated. I understand where you are coming from. This process can be so up and down. After the PGS testing we only have one embryo.
We got the news today and after the PGS testing we only have one embryo. Happy we have one but disappointed and bummed. Hoping this is the one. It's a boy embryo.
@susykat77 I'm sorry to hear that-- try to stay positive! I don't have official stats, but I actually read somewhere that if they retrieve a higher number of eggs (over 30), it will be more likely that they will not be good quality eggs. So actually less eggs (in the range of 15-20) is preferred because it means that the quality of the eggs is likely to be higher. So it could be good think that less eggs was retrieved! You may still end up with many viable embryos :-) My thoughts are with you and I hope it works out!

Oh happy day!! AF has FINALLY showed her ugly face!! It's been a little over a month since my cycle was cancelled and stopped the Lupron! I literally thought my body was morphing into some sort of alien being! Lol Maybe now I will start to feel like myself again. I'm soo happy to finally get back on track!

@susykat77 I will not be poas early. I'd much rather have definitive proof with a number than just a positive or negative. The stress about poas is not worth it to me anymore. And so sorry to hear about your donor eggs. How lame that 6 of the fertilized ones didn't make it to day 5. That seems like a huge percentage to have problems. Has your egg donor donated before with similar results?

@capps42613 - Good luck through your first cycle! I am hoping for a big BFP. Your protocol seems similar to my fresh cycle. The progesterone in oil is the worst one. My hubby rubbed it into my butt each night and I never ended up with any lumps. I don't know if that was b/c of him or I was just lucky! Mine just arrived in the mail today - oh joy!

@Joyzie77 I agree with Amanda call the office and see what they say. Our bodies can respond differently after retrieval. I had light flow for a few days and then it stopped. Sometimes it can be a little heavier but If your soaking a pad in under an hour then you may need to call their triage line ASAP.

@Joyzie77 after my retrieval last November I was spotting for a couple days. Only wore a panty liner. I know our bodies respond differently, but you should probably call your clinic. Especially if you're soaking a pad in 1-2 hours.

Embryo transfer scheduled for April 28, 2016 and beta test May 9, 2016 (day after Mother's Day!)
Transfer Meds include: Lupron Depot (4/1), Minivelle Patch (every 3rd day), Estradiol (3x daily), Amoxicillin, Progesterone in Oil, Methylprednisonlone. Lovenox and baby asprin added after transfer.
3/22/16 - Sono Saline ultrasound cyst to be aspirated on 4/1/16 if not cleared up by 3/29 US - It cleared on its own
Retrieval 3/4/16 - 26 eggs retrieved, 23 mature, 20 fertilized, 14 embryos currently frozen
Starting IVF Stims on +/- Feb 22, 2016
HSG scheduled for 1-26-16 - All clear "beautiful uterus" (though inverted)

I went back in for my second baseline ultrasound this morning. My lining thinned to 5.6 mm. She actually took 3 measurements. Two were 5.6 and one was under 5. I'm really hoping this means I can proceed with my FET as planned. I'm so tired of waiting.

AFM- My egg donor is going for retrieval on Wednesday!! That means that when I wake up on Wednesday, I'll find out how many were retrieved (as she's in the Czech Republic) I'm SO excited! I hope finally to have a good number of eggs to work with! Her last cycle they retrieved 43!!

I have some funky spotting in this cycle (my last before IVF) and it's looking like my period might start much sooner than anticipated. This would have my on birth control for a couple of weeks, starting maybe this week? Then baseline and stims would start the first week of March, for a retrieval hopefully around March 20. Anyone else on a similar schedule?
Ive been thinking about everyone here hoping everything is going as well as possible for you all.
last night was my last BCP, now I wait for AF to start and will most likely have my first bw and us on Monday morning!! I can not wait to get started, these last two weeks have been an emotional roller coaster with some family drama on top. I'm ready for this show to start!!

I hope to catch up with all of the posts in this thread so I can join in the discussion.
Life has just been really busy with other stuff with my dh and I to the point that I often feel like I'm going through this alone. It is always good to talk to others going through the same thing.
I'm feeling pretty discouraged right now and need to vent. DH doesn't understand why I feel the way I do and just keeps telling me to be positive. If it were only that easy.
Yesterday our our donor went in for her egg retrieval and they retrieved 15 eggs and 12 were mature, of those 8 have fertilized. On day 5, whatever has made it will go for PGS testing. I know how this numbers game works. A good portion of those 8 won't make it to day 5 much less through the PGS testing. I expected for them to have more to work with - that is one of the reasons we went with a donor as well as the fact that my eggs seem to be few and far between and total crap.
I just feel pretty hopeless that this is ever going to work. I was hoping to have enough frozen to be able to try a few FET's in case the first one didn't work. In the donors last 2 cycles, they retrieved 22 and 42 eggs so was expecting 20-something eggs as well. After all the IVF's and experiencing a loss at ~9weeks, I thought we would be in a better position with a donor but I don't feel hopeful or confident that this is going to actually work out for us. I'm feeling pretty sad and angry.
Now, I have to go to work and hold back the tears and wait for an update on Monday - day 5.

My meds came in the mail yesterday. I had them delivered to my parents house since they need to be signed for, my dad works from home and we have been working schedules around two family members being in the hospital, 1 aunt with a heart attack and one great aunt moved into hospice care. I am very open about this whole process with them. I gave my dad all the instructions, open the box and put anything packed in foil with ice packs in the fridge, everything else can stay in the box. He called me so concerned that it was too much, too many needles, to many vials and bottles of pills. He was very concerned if it was safe and really thinks DH should have to get some shots too. It was really sweet how concerned he was.

@vssbrm We never did PGS on my eggs. I only had one cycle where we had more than 2. But this time I was adamant about doing the testing.

@susykat77 I'm sorry to hear that-- try to stay positive! I don't have official stats, but I actually read somewhere that if they retrieve a higher number of eggs (over 30), it will be more likely that they will not be good quality eggs. So actually less eggs (in the range of 15-20) is preferred because it means that the quality of the eggs is likely to be higher. So it could be good think that less eggs was retrieved! You may still end up with many viable embryos :-) My thoughts are with you and I hope it works out!

#1 IVF May 2015- resulted in 15 5-day Blasts - SET (fresh) with BFP. Ectopic Preg @ 5w2d, treated with Methotrexate.
#2 FET, Sept. 2015, SET MC@8 wks with D&C in November 2015.
13 remaining blasts sent for PGS testing. 1 did not survive the thaw. 6 came back normal from PGS.
#3 FET 5/16/16 SET - BFP 5/20/16 Beta's looked great and so did ultrasounds- officially released to my OB! EDD 2/1/17.

@dragonfaerie I found out this morning that I have 2 embies that made it to day 5 and are being sent in for PGS testing. I am devastated. I have already booked my ticket and now I am wondering if I should cancel my trip. I am so very sad and thought that we would be in a better place with DE. Any word from you?!? Fx!!
