WAYDTGKTFU: bbt pnv opk in a couple days.
R/R/CS: I started vaginal temping this month and I feel like my temps are even worse with the "Rocky Mountain" effect. I know I'm only on CD 10 so I'm really curious to see how the temp shift reflects. I just guess I thought I would have a much prettier chart from vaginal temping.
GTKY: (Stolen from TWW Sunday) Where did you go on your honeymoon? If you didn't take one, where do you want to go? We didn't take a honeymoon which I am regretful about. We got married after our son was born and we were saving for a house so it never was a priority. Now it's hard cuz DS is 3 and it would be difficult to leave him. If money were no option and I wouldn't have mommy guilt leaving DS, I will love to take this 15 day cruise from San Diego to Hawaii. Or go to Italy so my DH could visit the town he grew up in.

R/R/CS: Small rant, I bought a new thermometer, the same brand that was working awesome before, but my temp from today was exactly the same as my temp from two days ago so I have my doubts.
Also, I remember that in a recent thread there was a discussion about how to tell the difference between fake and real Wondfo OPKs and HPTs. Can anyone remind me which thread that was? I'm probably too late to start OPKs this cycle. I figured I'd just grab some from the drug store but when I saw how expensive they are I realized Wondfo is the only way I'm going to do this. I'll plan now to order some for next month unless I'm lucky enough to move on.
GTKY: We got married right after I finished grad school and didn't have a job offer yet, so we did a very affordable honeymoon to Eastport, Maine, which is half a day's drive from us. When H was offered a much better job a few weeks before the wedding, we felt good enough about our finances to add on a night in Portland, Maine and a few days camping on Grand Manan Island off the coast of New Brunswick. It was fun at first, but then H got a horrible stomach flu while we were on the island! I felt so badly for him. Grand Manan was beautiful, and we really want to go back and give it another try in healthier times.

R/R/CS: My temp dropped today (even with questionable 3 hours of sleep) after 2 high(ish) temps. I have no idea what's going on with my body and I just hope next cycle is better.
Question: When does one move over to TWW
if A. there's a nearly zero chance of pregnancy (POM) and B. FF doesn't detect O? I am fully aware that O is still possible. I could just be having a long cycle, but this is out of the norm for me. Do I just stay here?

R/R/CS: I've got the Rocky Mountain chart right now (first cycle temping), @Megzb510 and I have been hoping that switching to vaginal temping next month might help...but maybe my temps really are crazytown. Who knows!
GTKY: (Stolen from TWW Sunday) Where did you go on your honeymoon? If you didn't take one, where do you want to go?
We went to an alll inclusive in Mexico. I thought we'd be bored after a couple days, but it was so relaxing!!
CD: 2
WAYDTGKTFU: PNV, bought EPO yesterday. **question** the bottle of EPO says to take 3 times a day. The capsules are 1000mg each. Does that seem a bit much? I can't seem to find anything on dosage for fertility, but I thought I remembered someone (@MissAmeliaPond ?) saying they only took it once a day. Anyone who has taken it have any suggestion? Also is it fine to take at the same time as my PNV?
R/R/CS: Well, I am scheduled for a baseline ultrasound tomorrow in preparation to try my first round of Clomid, if I can ever make up my mind about whether I want to start it or not. On one hand I'm thinking maybe I'll just try again this month using the EPO and it will also be my first full month on Synthroid. But the RE said she really didn't think that my slightly high TSH would be the sole contributor to not getting KTFU. And like everyone else, I wanted to be pregnant yesterday, so I don't know if I want to wait if there is something else I can do to help. Either way, I am going to go for the ultrasound to get that established, and I may or may not start the Clomid tomorrow as well. DH says he'll support whatever I decide, but he doesn't seem to have an opinion either way.

R/R/CS: so after being diagnosed with PCOS two weeks ago, I've had a couple of blood draws so that the RE can determine where I am in my cycle so she knows if we need to induce AF or go ahead and start ovulation induction via Femara. Apparently, I ovulated about a week ago (sometime between Jan.22-25 says the blood work), so I'm waiting on AF to arrive. Which is driving me a little nuts. I've been "waiting for AF" pretty consistently for more than 6 months at this point...why would she suddenly be on the verge of coming as soon as I seek out treatment to get her regulated? WHY?! Also, now that I know she supposed to be coming, I think every twinge is cramps. This drives me even crazier because I've learned in the last six months that I really can't tell the difference between gas and AF cramps lol

@Megzb510 I have never tried vaginal temping, but to me it makes sense if your charts consistently look a certain way, that the temping method shouldn't really change the overall pattern of how your temps fall. Is the problem that you just feel like it makes them harder to interpret?
@babymish Sorry about CD1 :P GL at your acupuncture appt! I was actually starting to look into pre-conception massage and came across a well-reviewed acupuncturist in my area, so I may give it some more consideration... I'm curious to hear how it goes!
@pretzel2plus1 Your honeymoon sounds lovely! GL at your lap appointment... FX for awesome results!
@cjt121413 That looks beautiful! And yes, I will be sure to post puppy pics when we get him! I guess DH was starting to have second thoughts about the white, bc I guess a lot of GSD enthusiasts don't even recognize them? There's very few in Schutzhund, not that I want to necessarily go that far with his training, but the idea is definitely to have a good family dog that would at least be a deterrent. We also have the maltipoo, and my previous big dog was a Pyr/Kuvascz so I guess I wanted to stick with the white dog thing for now. Do you know of any differences or problems with the white ones?
@Xstatic3333 We honeymooned in Maine, too! We had been driving back and forth across the country moving from Nevada back to NJ so the money or time away from the moving process for our dream transatlantic cruise was just not happening. It was a relatively short drive (for us) and we stayed in an adorable little private cottage on a cove with rowboats and bikes and that. We didn't go on any bike-rides, but we did row our little boats out for a lovely day on the water, and then we took a daytrip to Portland for whalewatching. DH wants to go back when it's cooler, so we'll see if we can find a way to sneak away this spring. ;) Oh, and I also love your hot sauce subscription! I feel like I need this in my life. lol I don't have an answer for your question, but I had a similar weird-temp thing this morning. (see r/r/cs)
Month/Cycle: 18 temping / 6 ntnp / 3 ttc

WAYDTGKTFU: BBT, charting on paper, CM/CP, started OPK's this cycle, no coffee, all the teas, PNV's, DHA, Calcium, Preseed if we feel like it. May HIO one more time today, maybe tomorrow too, just until we see the spike and can be sure we've maxed out our fertile window. Peak smiley yesterday, so we are still in that 48 hour window.
R/R/CS: Pretty sure I ovulated after dinner last night around 640PM. I know, I know, I don't want to be that girl, but I was cleaning up the kitchen and ***TMI*** I felt a sudden burst of moisture that suddenly wet my panties just a little. I wonder if that could have been a follicle burst?? lol For people who "feel" their ovulation happen, is that a possible indicator?
My temp this morning at 5:30 was EXACTLY the same as yesterday, and with all the talk of wonky thermometers, I was like, oh brother. So I temped again at 7:20 and there was a HUGE rise, from 97.39 up to 97.90, so at least I confirmed my thermometer's not broken! I think what may have happened is if I hadn't O'd all day, my temp WOULD HAVE been lower, but since then I believe I did O late in the day, the temp rise was only enough at that time to bring the temp up to level with the previous day. I think a .5 rise in less than two hours is maybe a bit more than normal time-related fluctuations, no? I know we will have to wait and see if tomorrow's temp is much higher, but I'm pretty sure yesterday was O day. Oh, and this morning the EWCM was gone, too.

@BusinessWife I swear that I "felt" myself O last cycle. I had what you were describing as that "wet yourself" feeling early in the day. I just considered it to be a ton of watery CM so we BD'd right away before work. During our sexy times, I felt sharp pains on my left side and that continued through the morning, peeked at about 10 am when I had a small amount of spotting and then all symptoms subsided. This cycle, I had none of the above, only my "normal" fertile indicators and a temp spike this morning. As for your temps, I find that temping anywhere outside of an hour of my usual time gives me drastically different temps. I once took my temp at my normal time (3 am) and then, out of curiosity, temped again when I got up at 6:30 and it was nearly a degree higher.

WAYDTGKTFU: Things.
R/R/CS: I had a lovely temp spike this morning so all signs are pointing to yesterday as O day. I'm going to hang out here until I get CH.
I finally found my cervix last week and have been checking it multiple times a day since. Now that I know where it is, I can't believe I ever had trouble feeling it. The only issue now is trying to tell the difference between position, texture and opening. I could definitely tell yesterday that it was softer and higher than it had been but I feel like it's tilted backwards because I couldn't feel the opening. This morning, I can feel the opening but I can't tell if it's open or closed. My question is: those of you that chart CP, how soon after O do you notice it goes back to low/firm/closed? Do you feel it shift on O day? (Presumably after O so that you can nearly pinpoint the time of O), does it shift the day after and coincide with a temp spike? Is it a slow shift that you feel over the few days following O? I know everyone is different, just trying to get an idea of what I should be looking for.

WAYDTGKTFU: right now just BBT and PNV. Starting day 10, BD EOD, OPK, EPO?
R/R/CS: I bought EPO and I've taken it for one day. But I'm reading a great book 'The Impatient Woman's Guide To Getting Pregnant' and it says it may delay ovulation and to try for 6 months naturally before trying. So I think I will start next month if I'm not lucky. The book has really calmed my nerves and helped me take a more natural outlook at fertility. Every month I try something ridiculous to get ku and then I have a meltdown when it doesn't work. This month I'm going to stick with bbt and opks and try to perfect my FW because that's where I'm lacking. If you haven't read the book yet, I highly recommend.

WAYDTGKTFU: Just waiting for AF to GTFU.
R/R/CS: Just sitting in misery in Cramp City over here. And oh. I have a case of the Mondays.
GTKY: Where did you go on your honeymoon? If you didn't take one, where do you want to go?
DH and I live in Florida, so we didn't want to go somewhere tropical. So we decided on half of our honeymoon in Portland, OR, and half in Seattle, WA. We took a train from Portland to Seattle. It was pretty neat! I liked both places, but Portland was my favorite.

WAYDTGKTFU: PNV, watching CM etc.
R/R/CS: So I've been fairly patchy about posting. This is our first cycle TTC #3 - I've been for the last 7-8 months ovulating around CD21-23 - but now I'm at CD31 and I don't think I've ovulated yet. I'm trying to play it cool....sometimes I get a long cycle - just frustrated that the 1st month is turning out to be a long one.
GTKY: (Stolen from TWW Sunday) Where did you go on your honeymoon? If you didn't take one, where do you want to go? We went on a Caribbean cruise (so much fun) and the following year we went to Ireland and France - so we kind of say that was a second honeymoon.
@pretzel2plus1 -- my parents live in St Augustine and I grew up about 45 min north of there. DH and I go visit them a couple times a year... I love that area!!
Edit b/c no coffee yet this morning

@sldp123 I just started taking EPO yesterday. My pills are also 1000mg each, and say to take 3x a day. From what I read online from a few sources, it's recommended to take between 1500-3000mg a day. So I decided to stick with doing 2x a day to be right in the middle. I'm also taking it with my PNV. We'll see how it goes, I guess!
@gonetothesea There's no place like the PNW

WAYDTGKTFU: Now: EPO, Raspberry Leaf Tea, PNV / After AF: OPKs, CM / Always: Temping
R/R/CS: Not much new, just waiting for AF to be done. Started taking EPO today, so curious to see how that plays out. I typically don't have a ton of CM, so hoping it helps in that department.
GTKY: (Stolen from TWW Sunday) Where did you go on your honeymoon? If you didn't take one, where do you want to go?
We had a destination wedding in Maui, so our honeymoon was tied into that. It was amazing. It was our first real vacation together, and both of our first times somewhere kind of tropical. We're from the NW, so it was a pretty big change of scenery.

@BusinessWife the hot sauce subscription is Fuego Box. We were really happy with the quality of Box #1! I think I'll keep the quarterly version going.

R/R/CS: Looking forward to FW. DH went back to work today after 8 months off and I'm currently looking for a job so while I have a lot of chores to do I am enjoying the quiet, alone time!
GTKY: (Stolen from TWW Sunday) Where did you go on your honeymoon? If you didn't take one, where do you want to go?
we did a destination wedding and got married on a cruise in Turks and Caicos so we did our honeymoon 3 months later and we went to Italy! We did Rome, Sorrento, Florence and Venice. It was amazing!!!
Month/Cycle: 5/3
CD: 30
WAYDTGKTFU: bbt, cm, hio
R/R/CS: It's Monday and I have a headache ugh. Last cycle I O'd on CD 30, so there better be a temp rise when I wake up tomorrow morning or I might go crazy!
GTKY: (Stolen from TWW Sunday) Where did you go on your honeymoon? If you didn't take one, where do you want to go? We went to Cape Cod for our honeymoon and did a day trip to Boston. It was really nice. I think we could have gone anywhere and I would have enjoyed it though tbh. Honeymoons are so exciting.

WAYDTGKTFU: Just PNV right now. Wondering about EPO.
R/R/CS: My AF is usually about 3 days and pretty light, this time seems lighter than usual. Everything I've read says that's still normal though, so I guess I'll just keep on keepin' on. I was worried it was a potential estrogen problem or something.
GTKY: (Stolen from TWW Sunday) Where did you go on your honeymoon? If you didn't take one, where do you want to go? We spent a month in Iceland, England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany (Oktoberfest!), Vienna, and Prague. It was amazing, but I'm good not traveling again for a while.
then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW,

R/R/CS: See chart... WHERE ARE YOU OVULATION >.<
GTKY: (Stolen from TWW Sunday) Where did you go on your honeymoon? If you didn't take one, where do you want to go? DH & I eloped so we were blessed with being able to take a 2week European honeymoon, we spent 6 nights in London (my most favorite place in the universe) & then took the Eurostar over to the mainland & spent 6 nights in Paris. It was so so so lovely, spring of last year, incredible weather & a nice break from the Chicago winter that doesn't end until June hehe.

I decided to take the lowest dose possible for the first cycle, and if I needed to increase it the next cycle, I would, but I had great results with just taking the minimum. And only take it up to Ovulation. You can switch during the LP to a standard fish oil or flax oil if you want, but I don't know if that's necessary. Some sources online say that EPO can cause uterine contractions, and you don't want that after O. I hope it works for you!
Month/Cycle: 6/5
CD: 19
WAYDTGKTFU: We decided just to HIO this month. Diet, exercise, stress relief, and PNV.
R/R/CS: I'm super pumped because I turned a +OPK this morning, plus (TMI) plenty of EWCM. We're both trying to stay positive after the last couple of weeks we've had, between my aunt's passing and my grandma having emergency surgery. The good news is that my family has made it through and we're all doing much better.
ETA: We're supposed to get a pretty good snowstorm tonight, so I'm hoping we both have tomorrow off so we can spend some extra time in bed.
