Several members here use and recommend wondfo OPK sticks and hCG pregnancy test sticks. I have recently realized that there are several companies posing as wondfo on Amazon selling counterfeit tests. I emailed order@wondfousa.com this morning inquiring about my Amazon ordered tests and this was their response:

Good morning!

Based on the lot number and pictures, the tests you received are not
WondfoUSA product. Please is our announcement regarding the fake product
and a list of our authorized sellers on Amazon

pregnancy tests.

Recently, there have been sellers illegally importing some fake products and
selling under the Wondfo listing on Amazon or their own listing claiming
they are made by Wondfo.

Please review the attached images. These are genuine Wondfo brand ovulation
tests and pregnancy tests in US market and up to FDA standard.
If you bought from Amazon.com and received products different from the
attached images, you received the fake products. Please report these to
Amazon by filing a claim or calling their customer service line at
866-216-1072. You may request refund at the same time.

Wondfo has reported these listings to Amazon already to prevent harm and
loss to more customers. However, Amazon will take their customers' reports
as a higher priority in these cases. We do appreciate your assistance in
addressing the issue to Amazon. Hopefully they will stop these fake product
listings soon.

As a manufacturer, we are committed to best quality product standard. We
appreciate you reporting the issue and helping us to continuously supply the
genuine, top quality standard products to the market.

Ughhhhh--I have the fake ones!!! I tried so hard to lurk and find the recommended sellers someone had posted a few months ago and couldn't find it so ordered anyway. The seller I ordered from was called "wondfo" and seemed legit since it was the top hit and had hundreds of positive reviews. SO annoyed... But also glad to buy new ones considering I haven't been able to get a positive OPK.

Update: I did call Amazon yesterday and was able to get a refund easily. They tried to have me send them back but after explaining that some have been used, they were okay with me keeping the product and issuing a refund. I ordered a new package from an authorized seller and am anxiously awaiting their arrival! I'm going to continue using the impostor OPKs since I may be ovulating soon... curious to see if I end up turning one positive.

If you have fakes, call Amazon and get your money back!

Dammit! That is company I just ordered from and am waiting for!!! I knew there are fakes but this company had like 300 reviews so I thought eh must be ok.... Well I guess I won't waist my time peeing on them.  Off to contact Amazon.  Thank you so so so much for the PSA.

Edit Update: Just got done with the chat to amazon and they claim they don't know anything and "Evan:

This seller has a 99% Positive Rating from Customers over the past 12 months. That's based on 7,446 Ratings."  And I have to wait to get the product to report it.  I am so mad now.

Edit again: Just got them, yep not actual Wondfos, still hoping somehow they still work....

Thanks! I'm investing in these soon and I had no idea fakes were even an issue! I used to be very loyal to FRER but after they came out with the curved handles I refuse to buy them.

I have heard of this and don't buy the brand because I can't be bothered to do enough research. I order from www.opktest.com. They have several packages but I usually get 40 opk and 10 HPT for under $20 shipping included. They are great.

Mine look exactly like the real thing except in a pink wrapper. I just looked up the company I bought from on Amazon and it says Wondfo, which is not one of the approved ones on that list. So did I buy a fake or did I buy directly from the company? I did get some immediate evap lines last cycle when I knew I wasn't pregnant.

I've linked this in the Newbie guide. "Many posters recommend the Wondfo OPKs (please be aware of Wondfo fakes) and the ClearBlue OPKs." All words that are blue in the Newbie guide are links. They are not blue for emphasis.
