So this baby expo... Omg... Reached capacity within an hour. Most of the moms here brought ALL of their kids, and they ALL have been walking around with candy in their mouths since the doors opened at 10:00. The first key note speaker told all of us that pediatric care in the US is akin to nazi Germany, and to not trust the vaccine schedule...
Positives: I bought two cloth diapers, and found local vendors for them, as well as support groups for stay at home moms. Also, free cake pops for samples.
My mood has been pretty even this pregnancy with no major changes to speak of. Welp, that changed today. I am now overall completely ragey. I cried this morning because I had to ask DD 3 times to put her pajamas in her hamper. It's going to be a long 11 weeks of this is my new disposition. Oy.
@Knottie9983816 Oh my... I'm in such a defiant mood that I probably would have yelled "vaccinate your babies" and run away laughing maniacally.
@K&Elizabeth I'm with you on the moody front... I'm either a raging monster or crying lately. I'm not looking forward to this emotional nonsense for the rest of this pregnancy.
@fbanke42 sorry to hear your news! Come join our GD club Have you been monitoring your glucose already to know that it's too high? Or just a feeling that you need to make further changes already?

Just a feeling. I figured I should jump on changing my diet now versus having to try and figure it out later.
My MIL just informed me that since our home is 45 minutes away from her cousin's house (I've met him once), she offered him our guest room for when he comes to meet the baby. Apparently, he's planning on coming the day we get home and it would be "rude of us to make him drive all the way home". Maybe it's my new found rage, but 1. I don't want anyone, especially someone I've only met once, at our house the day we come home from the hospital. 2. I DEFINITELY don't want anyone spending the night. And 3. How is her right to offer a room up is someone else's house?!!!?! When I told her that we won't be having guests the day we come home, she looked at me like I was some horrific sea monster.

You are 100% right. She's being crazy. Things will be hectic enough with a newborn at home. You should be able to decide when people visit your LO on YOUR schedule and not anyone else's.
On Awesome-Savings-News-Of-The-Day, I stopped by my local baby boutique this afternoon to buy belly cream, and realized they had the M coat for 40% off!!!!!! I had always frowned upon buying this coat cause it is pricey and I didn't think it was a good use of those dollars, but at 40% off I had to do it. I don't know if the M coat is available in the US/Europe as it is a Canadian product, but it is a pretty awesome concept: a down winter coat you can wear when you are not pregnant, when you are pregnant, and when you are carrying your baby. https://www.themcoat.com/how-it-works/
Pleasantly surprised when I looked at my bank account this afternoon. My state tax returns came in already. I only filed our taxes a week ago! Last year we had federal come in and had to wait ages for state. Weird.
Hanging out in my 60* F house, waiting for the heater guy to get here. I'm so tired of appliances breaking... Especially since the heater has a note that it needed to be replaced in 2013... And they said the same last year... My landlady is just swell...
Maybe I'm not ragey due to hormones. Maybe I'm ragey because everyone around is an idiot. I asked DH if he would pick up our daughter today so I could run errands. He agreed and I told him the time and place. I just called him to make sure he got her (10 minutes after the discussed time). No, he hadn't gotten her because he wasn't sure of the time and place... He wasn't sure, so he decided to lay in bed and watch some Everest climbing movie instead of picking up the damn phone and asking me. @cmjenkies I'll join your hypothetical woman in jail after I murder him.
Horrible back pain. Can't walk more than 5 meters. Can't lye in bed on my back, not even propped up on pillows. Husband coming home from a week in boston tomorrow. not excited to pick up all his shit off the floor again. Do love him, but drives me up the wall.
Husband lives to see another day.. meanwhile, I made my first Craigslist purchase tonight and may have broken all the rules - went by myself, after dark, to a person's house, with cash.. AND LOOK AT ALL THE GREAT STUFF I GOT! A floor play mat, Boppy with a waterproof cover and two slipcovers, rock n' play, a bathtub and whale cup, an exersaucer and a jumper - for 75$! I'm so excited! It's all in great condition.
Target had size 34DDD nursing bras. The band is too big, but the cups are great, so two of those suckers came home with me so that I can wear something that doesn't give me quad-boob.
So guess who found a bed bug? Me. Not sure if it was in furniture we bought or at the apartment. Cats went back to my parents as we wait for a Monday free inspection.
I feel super behind & disorganized right now when it comes to baby gear & nursery. I was checking out May BMB and now I feel even worse. Those ladies are planners! Finished nurseries, going home outfits. Geeeeeeez. I need to get started! I can't be the only one, right?
More complaining from my side of the globe. Woke up with a stye in my left eye. On the bright side, on my way to Denmark because my classes begin in a few days and this bad boy is keeping me company (at least for the next 5 minutes).
And yes I was too impatient and took a bite before I took the photo. Sorry not sorry.
I got home from work just now and had a random package from amazon I wasn't expecting anything. I opened the box and it's a baby toy. There is not any packing materials like packing slip showing who ordered it. It's fucking random and weird. I didn't order it and I've asked my brother, sister and dad. Not one of them. I highly doubt Amazon is sending me free shit just for the hell of it but whatever. Thanks though!
Also, I finally got the baby shower dress I ordered from ASOS and it's way too big. Like, it still wont fit me in a month when I am bigger at my baby shower and definitely wont fit me 2 month PP (It's also a nursing dress). Dammit. Back to the drawing board.
I'm still waiting on the dress I ordered from ASOS for my shower... It's been almost 3 weeks and they said if it doesn't arrive next week to let them know. So annoying. How long did it take yours to arrive?
It took about 3 weeks, I'm sure you'll get it soon. Be sure you try it on though because there is a short window to return it after delivery.

Awesome! I am waiting on a w2 still from the part-time job I had this past year. Once I get that I can finish filing. I am hoping to buy a new washing machine!
Ugh. I've been awake talking to my mom on FB for about an hour and she's bitching about my nursery theme again. I've finally had enough and told her "You comments are not welcome at this point because they aren't doing anything to change my mind but they're hurting me because I'm not going to do things your way it must be wrong to you. I'm tired of crying over this every time we talk." She's ignoring me now.
Also apparently if you're 25 and go out until 3AM one night, and stay the night somewhere the following night, because your ex has your kids, you are a slut and you're going to get AIDS. My poor sister when she gets home to my mom >.<
@Knottie9983816 1. Your mom just needs to calm down. My mom complained about DS's nursery theme because it was hard to shop for (foxes). I told her that the nursery was my project and that I would rather have her concentrating on things I needed, like baby gear or diapers. That helped calm her down. 2. Seriously? I would have vocally told your mother that I hope your sister got some action last night. There's nothing wrong with having sex as long as you are smart about it. Her ex has her kids, so let her have a chance to cut loose. 3. I'm really sick of "slut shaming." If you choose to have lots of sex with different people, I don't care as long as it's consensual, with someone of an appropriate age, and you are smart about protection. The same rules apply if you're only having sex with one person (and aren't trying to make babies for the protection part).
@fbanke42 My mom is super religious. She's never forgiven either of us for not being virgins before we graduated highschool. She has no idea that only one of her kids still is out of six... I do try really hard to just bite my tongue and love her in spite of her being slightly psychotic, but then there are days were I just can't.
@Knottie9983816 Wasn't your mom 18 and pregnant when she got married? Or did getting pregnant happen right after your dad got divorced and married the babysitter?

If you'd have been there, if you'd have seen it, I betcha you would have done the saaaaaaaame..
PS: GUYS! I GIF'd!
Stress. All the stress.
And yes I was too impatient and took a bite before I took the photo. Sorry not sorry.
It's obviously just for entertainment but I recorded my result anyways just to see how it matches up.
