What Date Is Your First Scan?

I have an appointment with the nurse at 9 weeks and see my OB at 12.5 weeks. He will probably do a dating ultrasound at that appointment which is 3/14. This is going to be a long two months!

Based on LMP that puts me at 6w6d.

Because of my anxiety over my previous losses I ended up calling my RE office this morning and talked to a nurse about my concerns (basically just can't get out of my own head) and she let me move my appointment up from Monday to Friday. It's only 3 days sooner but it's now only 2 more days instead of 5 that I have to suffer the unknown.

@tigerfish227 Three days makes a huge difference when you're waiting for something...especially when the waiting includes fretting! I'm glad the nurse let you move up your appointment. Good luck!

I just got back from my first appointment, which did not include a scan (I knew this going in). I was hoping to schedule one today, and I did, but it's a little further out than I would have preferred. (With DD, I had my "nurse" appointment and then scheduled the scan for the very next day.) This time I have to wait until next week Wed. According to LMP, I will be 7w6d then. So not an awful long wait (especially compared to others that have previously shared) but still - another 7 days?! How will I pass the time without going crazy, lol!?

I am about 4 weeks 2 days right now and my first scan will be 2/17. I will be about 9W1D then. They didn't ask me to come in to draw blood to confirm the pregnancy... I'll be peeing on a stick a few times a week until then I guess! LoL

@Megz1902 I pee on a stick every few days, lol. My first visit isn't until 1/26 and listening to heartbeat won't be until 2/18 so I completely understand the continual pee on a stick.

It feels good to read the messages above and see I'm not the only one! I'm 6w and my first appointment and scan is 1/25 (I'll be 8w) and it feels like an eternity to wait!

Not until 2/4, which seems like YEARS away! I'll be 8 weeks exactly from my LMP. I had an appointment with my PCP for my annual physical last week and she confirmed the pregnancy with a blood hCG!! Yay!

We had our first ultrasound 2 days ago. I cried when I heard his little heartbeat - it was the most beautiful thing ever. I just feel like he's a boy.

BFP on 1-4 (5w5d based on LMP)
Clinical test positive
Initial u/s, no gestational sac yet, estimated 3-4 weeks along.

Initial beta draw 1-5, results showed 334.5, estimated 4-5 weeks along.

Second beta draw 1-7, results showed 528.8, estimated 4-5 weeks along.

Second u/s 1-15 (7w2d based on LMP), gestational sac measured in at 5w1d.

In two weeks I'll be scheduling a third scan, and hopefully I can finally see the baby and maybe even his heartbeat.

I had my first scan on January 13th. My LMP had me at 8 weeks that week, so after the confirmation test they did a scan that day also. Turned out i was only 6 weeks and 3 days. Thanks Nexplanon. lol. My next appointment is Feb 25, dont know if i'll have another scan then, maybe since its 12/13 week mark.

My first scan will be February 13th. My doctor only does scan between 8-10 weeks. I'm anxious to see the peanut. With my son I didn't find out I was pregnant til 6 weeks so the scan seem to come so fast. I'm over here waiting as patiently as possible.

My first scan was today and I'm happy to report that things looked good! we saw everything on the screen.. measured accurate size to what it should be and we heard a strong heartbeat. What a rush! I went in today with my head grounded in reality based on all that I have heard/ read can happen. I feel so relieved. Hope you all have successful first appointments!

8 weeks (and we can't wait!).
Thanks @noelani42 for that information - now it makes sense why! After our scan, I'll feel much better about sharing the news with close f&f.

Just made my first appt and it's with a new doc since I moved cities a few years ago. They said they wait until 8-10wks so I'm scheduled for 2/23 which will be my 9th week. That date can't get here fast enough!!
