1. I think the car seat we ordered arrives today!!! 2. I'm almost done with my annoying work projects and just back to normal projects 3. I got a snoogle body pillow and its awesome! The dogs like to use it when I'm not in bed 4. Soup for lunch was dumb 5. I love my new cubicle by the window! 6. All my snacks are fruit today. I think that's fine 7. I keep losing at cards 8. I get Monday off and I'm so excited 9. I love that DH will make me pretty much anything I want for dinner, but sometimes I just don't want to have to make the menu (cue the tiniest violin playing a sad sing for me) 10. I don't care what anyone else thinks... I still love all the snow!!!!!
This is going to end up sounding like a symptoms post I think . . .
I woke up this morning feeling like someone was kicking me in the back all night. I don't have a real Prego pillow and have been using a basic down pillow between my legs which gets smushed easily. I feel like it's not worth getting a better pillow this late in the game so I might just deal with it unless it gets too bad.
My breasts won't stop growing! I'm beginning to look like I have fake boobs. They are too big and too round these days.
My balance is so off . . . I went for a walk with DH and fell nearly flat on my face. DH wouldn't let go of my arm as I was falling so I didn't land that badly but my knees are skinned real bad. I landed so hard and slid ( it was a downhill sidewalk) so far on my knees that I have holes in my jeans.
Dh informed me that I have "the weirdest bump." He has a major case of foot-in-mouth. I snapped and said that just because the mother of his other 4 kids is a skinny mini and probably had a cute little bump doesn't mean he gets to make fun of mine. I think maybe I'm feeling a bit *too* sensitive.
The plus side is my hair is thicker and my nails are growing! My nails have always been bendy and frail so I'm glad for this!
I hate cooking lately. Normally I really enjoy it but for the last few months I fell like by the end of the day I just really don't feel like it. We have been eating tons of healthy stir-fry meals since they are the fastest and easiest thing to cook. I guess that's not exactly a bad thing but I really miss some of my usual dinners.
DH is already talking about baby#2. We are both only children and he doesn't want to have an only child. He feels like after we die it will be alone in the world as far as family . . . Morbid eh? Im 35 and he is 51 so I'm not sure how I feel about #2. We would really have to get going ASAP. I don't want to wait too long!
On the topic of age I feel like Sophia Vergara in Modern Family some times . . . Married to my older husband and pregnant, living in a different country, DH's kids making fun of my accent, phrases and pronunciation. Now I just need to work on getting that body after baby is born and I'll be good!
I somehow missed that we started reading the book in the book club post and I never started. I guess I'm sitting this one out. I'm reading some other books anyways.
We decided to get baby a Pandora charm bracelet when she is born and add charms to it at major life events and give it to her when she is 16. Not sure if that's dorky but we got the idea from DH's daughter.
1. Work is insanely busy, and I'm having a hard time prioritizing it all! 2. I think this is probably because we leave for vacation next week! We are going to Montana for DH to ski and me to relax/get massages/shop a little. We are actually flying into Spokane and driving to Montana to help us hit three more states (WA, ID, MT) - that will put me at 40! 3. I'm excited for vacation, but why oh why does it have to be a mountain vacation? We are getting our first decent snowfall of the season and it's not really getting me pumped to go to the mountains for a week. 4. @kbrands7 I am in the western Pittsburgh suburbs and have been wanting to try Industry! DH and I will have to get over there sometime soon. 5. I am really excited with the progress we've made on baby's room, but am struggling to see if I am making things too girly due to my personal tastes (we are team green). 6. Our entire company is re-organizing. I am trying not to stress too much, but considering the worst case scenario is that DH and I both find out late April we don't have jobs, I am a bit nervous when I let my mind think of the what-if's. 7. We do have a solid budget in place and plan for things like this. We just need to update everything and look at options to consider if we were to lose job(s). 8. My mom is cleared to visit us in February and help me organize/decorate the nursery some! I was concerned of this because she is having ear surgery in a couple weeks and I was really hoping the doc would give her the green light to visit as planned. 9. My baby shower back in Texas is March 5th and I'm super excited. My MIL mentioned doing one in their town on the 6th while I am down for the weekend, but I haven't heard anything else on that. 10. I better get back to work! Though this was a nice break!
I love Montana. I went to Whitefish two Septembers ago. Stayed in a place on the lake. Hiked Glacier NP. Drank wine on the balcony and watched the sunset. Ate some really good trout. Caught some trout! (My first time ever fishing; we went with a guide.) The town of Whitefish is adorable, too. Lots of cute little cozy restaurants. Where will you be going?
@LadySamLadyisn't amazing how many times you wake up during the night now? I was in the same mind frame as you thinking I will get all this precious sleep before the LO comes, but NOPE. I pee at least three times and then wake up to roll over on my other side a few times as well. It really does cut into a good nights sleep! I can't even remember those days before being KU

Whitefish is great! I've been there a few times skiing and it is always so foggy at the top of the mountain. A lot of people nickname it fogfish and vertigo can get pretty bad when you're skiing and can't see a dang thing. So beautiful though. They have night skiing and I had so much fun with that. I stuffed my coat and snowpants with beers and chugged a beer on the chairlift ride up, then skiied, down... repeat... repeat... repeat.. I suppose you won't be doing that!
I'm late to the party (just like real life) but I want to play!
1. DH husband just learned that his region won the incentive trip coming up in early April. He (and hopefully!) I will have a chance to go to some fancy-pants all inclusive resort on Grand Cayman island. I've never had a vacation remotely like this one (we usually do cheap accommodations and active/sight-seeing vacations) so I really really hope my ob-gyn will let me go. 2. It's too dang cold in MN--- it was -9 degrees this morning when DH checked. 3. I can't get enough herbal tea, especially since I seem to be getting afternoon/evening headaches. 4. Pregnancy and my skin are not friends. I have eczema and the hormones have resulted in one angry red patch of skin on one of my cheeks. Boo. 5. We finished watching To Make a Murderer this weekend (while I almost did--- I fell asleep during the last episode) I think we should have a thread devoted to just that. Like pp's have said, I have so much to say. Plus Manitowoc is only like an hour and half from my hometown. 6. I'm looking for a good Netflix or Amazon series to watch. Anyone have rec's? 7. Like @sarawifenow, I've been re-reading Harry Potter. It's like that special, safe happy place I can go. Oh Hogwarts, I love the idea of you. 8. @Ladysamlady, my husband is traveling for work this week and I'm anxious about it too. I never like it when he travels but I especially hate it now I'm pregnant. Thank God for my pup to keep me company. 9. I ate two giant pizza slices for lunch today and I'm not sorry. 10. I switched to a new ob-gyn and she seems a lot more thorough. She measured my belly and tested my urine and blood, which my previous OB never did. I know my blood-type for the first time in my life. Also, apparently I'm not immune to rubella anymore. Fingers crossed!
@vinerie@js8812 We are going to Whitefish and staying at the lodge on the lake! I am glad to hear it is so great. No skiing or drinking for me, though DH is very excited for night skiing. My main requests for the place we picked were: at least a few shops, a spa for a massages, and a quaint/romantic atmosphere. I think we will spend a day going to Glacier National Park, too. Just 9 days!
1. I can't believe I sat here last night and read all the drama. I wanted to post a Drama LLama gif (didn't look for one), but by the time I read everything, the BumpAdmins had shut both of the posts down for new comments.
2. I'm not sure if I will be having a baby shower or not. Not to throw myself a pity party or anything, but it seems like my whole life I do a ton of stuff for other people and no one bothers to try to do anything for me. I don't think I"m supposed to throw myself one. (Not sure of the etiquette part here). I'm not going to go right out and ask anyone to throw a shower for me, but I'm secretly hoping someone will step up to the plate even though I know no one will. It's not so much about the gifts, but the hurt from no one thinking enough of me to want to throw one. Yet I do all kinds of things and bend over backwards for these same people.
3. We got DirectTV today. Yay! Now I can veg out to some mind numbing tv while I work. I keep it on for white noise.
4. The wind is blowing so hard there that it blew the technicians ladder over off the house and almost hit him in the head. It landed on our fence gate and broke a wooden slat. I'm glad it did not hit him. That would have been bad.
5. The neighbor's dog let me pet her. This is huge. You can tell that she has been abused. We never see them do it though, but you can tell by her mannerisms. The person that we think does it does not even live there, but is the boyfriend of one of the neighbor's daughters She has started trusting my husband and I and is actually happy to see us when we walk on that side of the house.
6. I'm mostly over my cold save for a few symptoms. I just wish the stuffy nose would go away. That is my main complaint. I just want to be able to breathe!!!!!!!!!!! I hate breathing through my mouth.
7. My sister gave my husband a Squatty Potty for Christmas and a box of icecream cones (you have to watch the squatty potty commerical with the pooping unicorn).
8. You know you are getting old when Everybody Loves Raymond is on TVLand
9. I hate these random abdominal pains. I'm thinking RLP, but they are annoying.
10. I wish it were May already. I am so ready to meet my baby girl. I'm ready for the pregnancy part to be over with and get on with the baby part of it.
1. I wanted cooler weather but now I want it to go away. I'm too indecisive apparently.
2. I know we still have a little while but I've been looking at outfits to take LO home in all morning.
3. I am not getting anything done today. I thought I knew how to fix something at work and now I can't find what I had found before.
4. I'm seriously contemplating taking a nap in the car during lunch.
5. The dog was super cute this morning. He was curled up in his blankets and bed and refused to get up bc he was warm.
6. I need more maternity jeans. I have 2 pairs now and with my laziness, laundry getting done is not a guarantee.
7. I'm seriously wanting some fruit right now. It doesn't help that I have an Edible Arrangements store less than 2 minutes walking from my office. I may or may not have hinted about that to DH since our anniversary is next month.
8. I just finished my lunch. I'm still hungry. I only have one snack left.
9. Thank goodness for headphones at work. People talk too much.
10. Last Disney trip before our passes expire this weekend! We aren't renewing this time until LO is a little older - possibly in time for her 1st birthday since we're planning a trip around that time anyway. $70 a month just doesn't make sense when I won't feel like going pretty much from nowish until baby gets here and then she'll be way too little to go.
Every time you talk about Disney I get so jealous! I think it is so cool you have season passes! H and I will be there in a week and a half for our vacation, I cant wait, we love Disney!!
2. Really hate the bump app for doing any kind of threading
3. They moved my desk at work so now I cant bump as much as I want because I'm afraid everyone can see what I'm doing. So now I've been trying to get to work 30 mins early so that I can bump before everyone gets here.
4. Hubby's work schedule changed to nights now till April. and for the most part its fun- coming home relaxing- not having to worry about dinner expect for what I want, and I'm easy these days. But he's only been at it for a week and I miss him!!
5. I want to go take a HDBD picture but I don't want it to be the same work bathroom mirror picture I do every week. so I'm going to wait till I get home.
6. Tonight my parents are taking us out for our anniversary- excited for some yummy dinner!
7. Tomorrow (1/14) is our actual anniversary- so the hubs and I are taking ourselves out- more yummy food!!
8. The crib should be here Thursday!!
9. I have Friday and Monday off and then only one week left till our week long vacation just the hubs and I!
10. Happy bump day!! Cant wait to see everyone-that's where I'm headed next!!
