CRABS. Ugh I love them. I grew up eating crabs all the time (Maryland girl here). I just want to sit at a table full of crab shells and messy hands and stuff my face for hours, please. Oh and sweet tea, too.. Limited amounts now, of course.
My husband bought me 2 dozen yesterday..mmmmmm .. I'm in Louisiana.
It finally got "cold" here so I'm craving homemade soup! I put some chicken in the slow cooker before going to work so I'll be able to shred it when I get home (Cold = 60 degrees).
Vanilla frozen yogurt topped with fresh pineapple, Claussen dill pickles (halves, please!), veggie straws, mushrooms sauteed in lots of butter until they're crispy, Eggo waffles topped with cultured butter or crunchy peanut butter, Diet Squirt...I could go on and on...
I seriously can't get enough of the pickles - I bought 6 at the deli the other day and I'm trying to make them stretch. The girl was like "that's a lot of pickles" and I think I growled at her And strawberry milkshakes - my god. My grocery store lists consists of no meals, all snacks. It's like going to the store when your high - there is no rhyme or reason to any of it except you know you have to have it now.
Ladies, I'm so jealous! All the good preggo lady foods make me sick or taste terrible... I can't eat pizza, because the crust and actually anything that isn't meat or cheese comes back to bite me in the ass a few hours later. Pickles taste funny, and give me bad heartburn. I do enjoy crunchy Cheetos, and I'm on a watermelon bomb pop kick but even those don't help much. Nuggets and waffle fries with bbq and ranch from chick-fil-a are one of the few things I can kind of claim as a craving
All I've wanted today is some elote (Mexican corn in a cup) from the local Fiesta. Husband said he would grab it on the way home and showed up empty handed :-(. I can't fault him though, he went to Dairy Queen and Boston market the past two nights when I wanted blizzards and mashed potatoes.
I got hit with a craving for a pregnant burrito (fitting, right?) which is a cheese enchilada inside a bean burrito, smothered in red enchilada sauce, cheese, and sour cream. The place that does them is over an hour away
Sour cream.... I want to put it on everything! I have been putting it in my salad and making taco salads... so good! Last night I also saw a commercial for Cheetos so I went out and bought some when I was home by myself lol!
I never understood the pickles and ice cream thing.... until now! I totally HATE pickles and and thing pickled. Last night I told DH I needed In-N-Out stat. I usually get protein style (lettuce wrap) with ketchup and grilled onions (no special sauce aka thousand island aka pickles! or tomato which is standard).. Last night I went all out on my meal - bread, cheese, spread, and grilled onions PLUS a chocolate shake.
DH looked at me and just said "So pickles and ice cream, huh?"
I'm having a difficult craving. A tomato and mozzarella sandwich from Fratellini, a tiny place in Florence, Italy. It sounds easy enough to reproduce, but the tomatoes in Italy are FAR different from the sad, squishy things here in Florida. Anyone in Firenze want to mail me one?

Yesterday I started craving a salad from Saladworks. Strange. Usually the thought of Saladworks is enough to make me queasy. I think my body is telling me it's ready to start eating some real food and not rely solely on carbs.
Salad dressing in general has been sounding delicious for no particular reason.
@DominiqueU- I had a salad for lunch for the first time since morning sickness hit and it was so good.

@Lindsayleigh1989 My husband and I were just drooling over those!! I am mildly nervous about pickles since an unfortunate ms incident after I ate a couple pickles and they got stuck in my sinuses but I think I'd risk it for those.
@Weville that sounds absolutely terrible! I also just saw a movie popcorn candy various combinations and now all I want is to go to the movie and shove my face!
@CarrieandRoy I can't even tell you how many tomatoes and mozzarella ive gone through this week. I put some basil on top, salt and pepper, splash of balsamic. Nom nom nom
Also all I want is turkey sandwiches. I keep having this eternal struggle because I know lunch meat is a no no, but it's so good. Im making sure to microwave the meat.

Actually you can probably have it cold you are more likely to get listeria from ice cream or fruit
I've been wanting Jimmy John's, but haven't let myself. I know that in all likelihood it would be fine, but I also know doctors say not to for a reason, and if it turned into something, I would feel so guilty. Maybe a tuna salad just I could get their bread and a big pickle now that we're on the topic...definitely gaining too quickly this time. Yikes.
