TWW---Beta week of 1/4

Just had my third IUI/fourth medicated cycle. DH had over 200 million sperm and 90% motility. Officially now in the TWW and having my beta 1/4. Planning on testing way before since for me at least it lessens the blow. Who else has a beta the week of 1/4?

Can I jump in? I'll be testing the 6th if AF hasn't arrived (if I can hold out that long). This is my second medicated cycle. I triggered today with 4 mature follies (yikes!) so we shall see...

I had my 4th IUI- just did straight follistim injections followed by the trigger shot. I had 5 follicles >18. I am sure I will start testing next week- it's so hard not to. Im hoping with the craziness of the holidays- the next two weeks will go quickly!

Really hoping for a New Years gift for all of us!

I found that when I start testing at 9dpiui and I get a negative I tell myself oh well it didn't work but it's also still early. And then each day I get a bfn I think yep well that's what I was expecting anyway, a bfn. And by the time beta comes around i don't even cry because I've been so prepared. One month I didn't test and went for beta and got a bfn. I was so so devastated. So now I'm well prepared for bfns. Well at least this works for me. Ha!! Fx for you all!! And Merry Christmas. :-)

I had my 3rd IUI on the 22nd so can test on Jan 5 if no AF. Not sure if I will test early or not... I usually cave at about 12 or 13dpiui.
fx for BFPs for all!

So ok 4dpiui and my uterus HURTS. I can't find anything about it being a symptom of the progesterone. This didn't happen last cycle. My uterus is cramping and feels so tender that it actually hurts when I empty my bladder. It almost feels like the way my ovaries feel during ovulation, except it's def my uterus. Anyone else familiar?

@kh87 I told my doctor about this and he did a sonogram. He said my ovaries were swollen/enlarged, but that was a few days after my ER BEFORE my ET. Let's hope it's a sign of a BFP for you?!?

I have broken out on my face. Three zits! I never breakout...except I get one zit every month right before AF. So I'm trying to not let my mind even go there...

@Smallinetta omg. I broke out so bad too!! It was the worst for Christmas. I rarely wear face makeup like foundation but had to cake so much on.

I'm going to jump in on this thread even though the timing is kind of up in the air for me because I wasn't able to confirm O this month. If it happened around the time it usually does for me my 2ww would be ending on 1/4. If I don't have AF by then I'll be testing with the rest of you.

My uterus was very sore/crampy for awhile after my IUI last cycle. It even hurt for me to sit down for about a week following the IUI. I've heard from others this is pretty normal though!

Yeah I get that too. I think it's just from ovaries. There's no implantation or anything that early so I blame it on the letrazole ans ovulating. :-) I'll be starting my testing on Wednesday and then go from there.

I'm jumping in too! My beta is 1/8. Although my RE schedules betas for 17dp IUI. I guess just to be safe about the trigger being out of your system. This is my 4th IUI. I did Follistim and the trigger, and had 3 follies (with a potential 4th though I doubt it). So far, in every cycle, it's always been my right ovary that has mature follies. Has anyone else had that? I guess it's an overachiever

I've never done a hpt before the beta because I'm so nervous about it. I think I'd probably stress more if I got a negative and still had to wait (I HATE waiting lol). But I'm considering it this time to spread out the diaappointment like @Drove2u was saying.

I find that holding off on testing until the 14dpo mark helps me to not obsess over it too much. If I test for many days leading up to testing day, I'm dedicating so much time and energy towards this and would rather just do my best focus on other things. Of course sometimes that's easier said than done

Today is 6dpiui and my uterus is still so tender! Tenderness began on the 24th, which would have been 3dpiui. Hurts when it has pressure from my bladde, hurts when I relieve the pressure, hurts when I sit, hurts when I lay on my stomach. This didn't happen last cycle. Curious what RE says at my appt Tuesday. Would like to think maybe it's from implantation but it started way too early to have been that. Bring on the Tylenol!

@wifeinraleigh28 I think I've figured out that my pain is coming from my bladder. It sits right in front of the uterus so it's hard to tell. I don't think I have a UTI, no frequent urination and no burning sensation, but it does hurt when I need to pee as well as when I relieve the pressure. Can't wait for my appt tomorrow!

So apparently my pain is because my ovaries are enlarged, which is a sign of pregnancy according to RE. But could also be a side effect of the fertility meds (I'm going with that one). I just don't understand why I'm feeling the pain directly in the center instead of on the sides. Apparently it's nothing for me to be concerned about at this point and it should go away.

@kh87 - I'm glad it's nothing to be concerned about. Ugh, it sounds like this is just another thing that isn't worth reading into as it COULD be pregnancy or a number of other things, like everything else we deal with!! I think you're doing the safe thing by assuming it's the meds to not get your hopes up, that's what I would do! Still hoping that this will turn into a BFP for you though

@wifeinraleigh28 I know! It's so hard to talk myself out of getting excited when I hear stuff like that. But let's just face it, we all get hopeful and there's nothing we can do to stop. It's kind of cruel. Beta is on Monday. @Drove2u I'm starting to crack on the home test idea. I nearly bought some today. I just want to know!

Well I tested today at 9dpo and bfn. I have a feeling it didn't work this time either. I'm feeling AF cramps coming. I know you may think it's too early but same thing happened to me last month. I thought it was preg cramps at this time but sure enough at 15dpo I got AF. Going to test again tomorrow morning.

Sorry @Drove2u. Even if the cycle did work though you would most likely get a bfn at 9dpo. I'm still hopeful for you!
