TWW---Beta week of 1/4

@kh87 and @Drove2u I agree -- at least you know the trigger is out. I am pulling for both of you to get BFP!

I gave in and I POAS in the middle of the night (around 3am) and it was a positive!!! The line was light, but I woke up my husband and he agreed it was def there. Just for good measure I POAS again just now and it was also a positive. It's still not as dark as I would like...then again I've NEVER EVER seen a positive before so maybe I'm expecting something that doesn't exist? I really really hope that the doctor confirms the good news tomorrow. FX.

I can't help, but let me mind think I'm pregnant. Now I see why my husband wanted me to wait to test until the beta...

I've decided that if I have no AF by Tuesday I will POAS.  But I might cave on Monday.  Not sure.  I don't really know how many dpo I am though so I'm not really sure how to handle this.

Thanks! I am 8dp5dt. My doctor tests beta at 9dp5dt so tomorrow is the big day!

I'm feeling physically terrible today - 7dpo. I thought I was going to remain sane this cycle but I am symptom spotting hard. I need to keep repeating the phrase "psychosomatic symptoms" over and over.

I hear ya, @laurenlalap. I'm 7dpo too. I keep having this dull ache and of course my mind is reading way too much into it. I had a lot of weird twinges/aches last month so nothing new. But it's hard to think sanely when you're just waiting around. I bought an adult coloring book as many on these boards have suggested, so I'm looking forward to that. Do you plan on testing before beta?

No, I don't. I got badly burned last cycle. The trigger remained in my system all the way until I got my period at 14dpo. I was convinced by 11dpiui this was the real deal.

@laurenlalap Ugh. That really stinks. Did you get the same dose trigger this time? I only got a half dose so I'm thinking about testing Sunday (11dpo) to avoid getting a negative on a workday. You're halfway through the wait though, so that's good!

I feel like If I wasn't using progesterone that my period would just gush out of me. It feels like I have it but I don't. I'm sure this isn't my month.

Sadly I am out this month. Got my period today. Was hoping it was just spotting but no such luck. My beta wasn't until Monday- it came so early! Disappointed and sad. Had a good cry. Now have to figure out if I move on to IUI #5 or move into IVF.....I keep thinking the next time will work. Do you give it another try???

I think I'm out this month too.  I started spotting ever so slightly yesterday, right on schedule.  So I suspect AF will be here by tomorrow.  This makes me seriously question why I never got a positive OPK this month if I did in fact ovulate when I was supposed to.  Maybe I missed the surge even though I was testing twice a day?  I don't want to think it could have been an anovulatory cycle.

Sorry @Krisd6.  Same thing happened to me last cycle.  I got my period at 13dpiui, even with progesterone suppositories.  Never even made it to test day.

I hope it's still too early for you @kh87.

@Krisd6 So sorry hugs to you. I feel like there was someone just recently who got KU from their 6th and last IUI. Just to give you some hope in case you do decide to give the IUI one more shot before jumping into IVF.

@wifeinraleigh28 Hope AF doesn't show up for you. It's not over till it's over!

I'm currently 10dpo, and no symptoms here. I'm not feeling good about this cycle. This sucks.

My spotting seems to have stopped today. I'm hoping that's a good sign since usually my spotting turns into AF after a couple days. But my body has been known to play tricks on me. I'm hoping I can hold out until Monday or Tuesday to POAS and/or until AF comes.

@laurenlalap a lot of BFPs are symptom free so I wouldn't count yourself out because of that!

@laurenlalap 10dpo and no real symptoms to speak of here either. My clinic requires you to turn a positive before coming in for a beta. I plan on testing in the morning but don't have high hopes.

I'm also 10dpo. I thought about trying an hpt before my beta this week. Maybe Wednesday since that'll be 14dpo. I have a big exam on Tuesday so I'm trying not to just focus on that and not have the anxiety of the TWW throw me off. My beta is scheduled for Friday- not sure why my RE waits 17dpiui

Good luck on your exam @pamelated!  What is it on?

My clinic requires a + HPT before doing betas as well.  If they didn't I would definitely just wait for the beta to find out, but I can totally understand why some of you prefer to test at home first.  We aren't using an RE at the moment though, just a urologist.  So I'm on my own to track my cycles and test and all that.

That's interesting! My clinic says not to use HPT as they can be inaccurate with the trigger shot

@laurenlap that is true. But then you can test out the trigger shot. I started testing at 9dpiui and it was a bfn so i know there is no trigger shot. I didn't test this morning:12dpiui. Was at a friends house and didn't have a chance. Will test tomorrow morning and beta is on Monday. But it's not looking good. Feel like AF is coming.

@wifeinraleigh28 thanks! I'm a PhD student, and I'm taking my comprehensive exam. It's basically on everything I've studied so far and once I pass I can start working on my dissertation.

@laurenlalap I'm pretty sure my clinic told me the trigger shot is no longer in your system at 14dpiui, which is when they tell us to test.

The pressure that I've had the last few days that feels like AF is now gone. I feel absolutely nothing. Last cycle I had AF cramps for several days before beta and RE said the progesterone was just preventing it from coming. I really feel nothing now. Hope that's a good sign despite the negative HPT I had at 11dpiui.

Got a bfn at 13dpiui so I'm pretty sure I'm out. BetA tomorrow but I know what to expect. Waiting for AF now. May have to skip this month since I'm traveling for work and will get AF while traveling most likely. Leaving on Wednesday.
