I went in today for my 20 week appointment. I was very nervous as I have not been feeling that much movement and cannot seem to gain any weight (though my stomach keeps growing). But doctor said everything looks great, my placenta us in the front explaining why I don't feel a lot yet, and my doctor thinks that we are having a baby girl!!! Baby was all scrunched up, so we did not get a great view and are having another ultrasound in 4 weeks to confirm and get a better look at the heart, but we are so excited!!!
My OB called me tonight and said based on when I think I conceived that there won't be much of anything to see until probably the end of next week, but said if I wanted to come in for blood work before then I could so going in tomorrow morning and then again probably right before or around the new year for an early u/s. I'm getting the sense he gets the nervous PGAL brain really well and is going to be accommodating to it
I had an u/s today and everything is good! Baby's heart rate is 172, it has limb buds and I got to see it wiggle a little bit! It is still measuring a day ahead (8w4d) so my new due date is 7/30. I can't wait until Christmas so I can tell my family!!!!!!!!
