@martinez1029 I understand how you feel and my RE told me that many of his clients opt to go straight to IVF just to up their chances but even then there is no guarantee. I know a few people who got pregnant with IUI most of them on multiple rounds. One of them got pregnant on IUI#5 at 40 years old  and has a beautiful baby boy now. I understand and I'm frustrated too. I had 4 mature follicles going into my second IUI and nothing. 4 follicles and not even 1 took!

Maybe discuss some different med protocol that may give you a better shot. I'm there with you. Be kind to yourself today and remember you did everything in your power to make this happen.

@wifeinraleigh28 I know it just really stinks especially after 2 and a half years of trying naturally and not knowing for a year and a half I wasn't even ovulating ..... I'm just so bummed out I can't take it. It really sucks how low the statistics are .....

@mtbadger my husband and I started discussing IVF last night but it's all out of pocket for us so a very big expense.  And you're right cost is a huge factor. It's good that your insurance covers half. That's a big benefit. I'd be interested to see what your dr says.

@martinez1029 - I know it sucks how low the statistics are.  It boggles my mind how something so natural as conceiving can be SO hard.  But really, I truly believe that the only way to increase our possibilities of being successful is to just never give up.  One way or another, we can be moms someday!

I'm 9dpiui this morning and my sole remaining symptom is acne breakouts (ugh, seriously?!) I'm glad the rest of my symptoms have disappeared though. Knowing it's too early for pregnancy symptoms I'd prefer to NOT have symptoms of medication! 5 days to go!
