Ugh, this is the never ending IUI cycle. Beta levels rose again to 127, so it's still an abnormal pregnancy and my RE is still concerned it could be ectopic. Have to go in on Monday for ultrasound and repeat bloodwork. She is hoping that will give more answers and those results will determine the next steps - either medication to stop the cell growth or a catheter placed in the uterus overnight to disrupt the cells. Neither one sounds like much fun.
It was a little surreal when the RE told me that since I'll technically be 6w on Monday, she's hoping something will show up on the u/s to try and figure this all out. Even though from the start I knew it was most likely a chemical pregnancy, that hit the heart since that made it all really real of what this could have been.
@mtpbadger I hope everything goes okay on Monday and that you can figure out what is happening.

@cmm012 - I had 2 mature follies and about 4 that were right behind... my RE said I would for sure ovulate the 2 that were mature, but he said there's a chance I'll ovulate several others as well. Because of our MFI issue though he didn't seem too concerned about it. I feel like we need as many targets as possible! I was cramping so bad this morning that it certainly felt like I had multiple ovulations going on... no way to know for sure though. As for the 2ww, I'm planning to enjoy the long Thanksgiving weekend with my family that's in town, then I just need to get through work Monday through Thursday next week, and on Friday (12/4) DH and I leave for Disney World! We'll be there for 9 days, so I'm packing a few HPTs (and my progesterone suppositories ugh) since we'll be there until Dec 13th. I'm hoping for good news while we're on our trip, but if not, at lease I'll be at Disney! What about you, how many follies and what are your plans for 2ww??

I'm feeling so down in the dumps right now.... I hate Facebook. So many pregnancy announcements today ....I'm so sad because because my dream is to make my announcement during the holiday season ... The past 2 holiday seasons obviously we're a let down ... Family asking why we haven't started having kids.... And I'm having AF type cramps today 7dpiui so in feeling like I'm out and I want to cry.... But I don't want to ruin this day... I did have a good day earlier... But things just declined quickly as I logged onto Facebook....

@martinez1029 I'm so sorry! I know totally what you're saying. I just had three family members announce pregnancies within this week and another ask when we are going to have one. I'm with ya. I'm also feeling like I'm out this cycle. Since starting the progesterone all my symptoms went away, even my pimples. Just feel like my normal self again. I really feel in my heart that I'm not. It was the first time I've actually gotten to IUI so I'm not naive enough to think that was going to be it. It's still a happy feeling though to wonder if we are. Treat yourself well and maybe we will get to be cycle buddies again next month
@kh87 it's just a miserable feeling .... I feel like my period will be here tomorrow. My boobs don't hurt at all anymore...I'm still eating like a pig and extremely bloated oh and I started breaking out so now I feel fat AND ugly.... Life just isn't fair.... I actually went into this iui crying , dreading the next 2 weeks. I just don't understand how can 65 million sperm be injected into my uterus while ovulating last month and this month and nothing but then "oops omg I had sex once when I was drunk and I'm pregnant" starting to feel anger and envy again........
So now I'm in the TWW just had iui this morning and sperm count was great. Now I just need to keep myself amused and we are starting with Christmas lights outside since it's like 70 degrees today
Now I'm having cramping and brown spotting but AF isn't due for another week.....my emotions are all over the place should I be excited or nervous ?? Ahh!!!
@martinez1029 spotting can be implantation- for now I would take it as a good sign. Hang in there and keep us posted!

I was in a raging bad mood last night and woke up upset this morning feeling worn out by all the emotion if that makes sense. New to the group. I've been following for a few days and finally got approved to post. A little about me...I'm 34 and my DH is 37 and we have unexplained infertility. I did a few months of clomid only and are in our first cycle. I guess I was naive and really had my hopes up after all the tests leading up to our first IUI on Nov. 13. They said everything looked great and my numbers were good. I did an HPT yesterday morning with a BFN. I went for my beta this morning and am now just waiting for them to confirm what I already know.

I did the same thing my first iui only for them to tell me it's very rare to get a BFP the first round of iui and that I was at the very beginning of my fertility journey ... I'm like no I'm not!!!! I've been here for 2 1/2 years!!!!! I didn't start any procedures til last month tho... My first year of trying I wasn't even ovulating soooo waste of time but mentally it still counts !

@amandaleigh2181 trust me I know ... I've been hearing that for how long now? Every since we fixed my ovulation issue last October .... Let's try to hang in there all together .
@martinez1029 I mean I don't know obviously but If you're spotting it could be implantation bleeding. Esp since your period isn't due for another week. I 100% understand the anger and envy. My DH and I tried for a year naturally and around 8 months ago I was tested for PCOS and told that I did NOT have it. So we wasted so much time thinking that it "just hasn't happened yet". The very first time the fertility specialist looked at my ovaries he was like "you know you have serious PCOS right?" I was so pissed. Then came the whole journey of even getting me to ovulate, because apparently I don't. Trust me, I know anger too. Don't count yourself out yet!
@roxgibbons same! I have absolutely no symptoms besides this disgusting progesterone capsule running out of my vag. I too am already thinking about next steps. Maybe it's just our way of protecting ourselves emotionally, to keep our minds productive instead of focusing on what we feel in our guts to be true. I hate counting myself out of the game because then I think "well there are so many people who go weeks and weeks not knowing that they are so maybe your lack of all symptoms is normal". And then I'm like "seriously Kate stop getting yourself excited".
If my test is negative on Thursday I swear I'm ordering myself an entire pizza and chicken wings and a pint of ice cream, don't care what anyone says! LOL.
We've got this girls, this second half of the 2ww sucks, and we are all up and down. Let's just hang tough!
@kh87- yeah today has been a whole range of emotions but I guess it's important to remember we're still in it until we find out otherwise on Thursday. The no symptoms is such a weird thing- I don't like it at all- some people don't find out for weeks (so many people I know) and get pregnant without trying or are drinking and doing whatever. Something I reminded myself today and it helped was that I'm doing everything in my power to make this happen and I listed it all out. I think this applies to all the ladies on these boards. LOL about this pizza. I'll be right there with you with a couple of glasses of wine if this doesn't work out this cycle.

@roxgibbons our friends just got pregnant on their own last year after months and months of treatments. They had basically thrown in the towel bc the next step was IVF and they couldn't afford it. She was 10 weeks before she started feeling nauseas and found out she was pregnant! So, we aren't out til we are out. Like my DH says, he can't believe in this day and age that there isn't some kind of instant notification the second you get pregnant lol. I'm kinda really craving that pizza already... Ha
@kh87@roxgibbons I hope it's that.... I mean WAY too early for AF and it wasn't pink it was brown.... Who knows... Omg the emotional roller coaster today.... And my face is like the Rocky Mountains... I never break out so this is annoying for me... I'm sad one minute that I'm out then angry because all my friends are pregnant or have babies.... Then I'm like laughing at myself because I'm already telling myself I'm not pregnant when in reality it's way too early to tell!!! It's true I think it's us mentally preparing ourselves for the worst... But I agree the second half of the 2ww is TORTUROUS !!! the first week I'm actually happy and excited then the second weeks shows us and like oh f*^%!!!!

@wifeinraleigh28 yes, yes they are. The first couple weren't bad besides the killer headache that they gave me, but after the first couple you prob wanna wear a panty liner...
Thanks for the tip @kh87! Sure hoping I don't get headaches from them. I have always been very headache prone (since I started puberty) until about 2 months ago. I discovered that going to the chiropractor regularly every 2 weeks and completely cutting out alcohol has been the answer and I never get headaches anymore. If progesterone brings them back I might cry!

@wifeinraleigh28 I don't get headaches normally. Mine showed up an hour after my first capsule, which was in the afternoon. I took Tylenol and when I woke up the next day the headache was gone. I think maybe my body was adjusting. The good news is that it hasn't persisted. Good luck!
@wifeinraleigh28 what are you taking ? I'm on Crinone 8% once in the morning..... The discharge is horrendous and smells... Sorry TMI but it's not pretty lol. But I will do whatever it takes to become a mother like all the rest of us on here!!!
@kh87 and @martinez1029 we must be taking something different then. All I know is that it's progesterone and it's a little white suppository that I have to put in right before bed. It didn't seem to smell but maybe it will after I've been taking them for a few days. I noticed just a tiny bit of white discharge from it this morning but I didn't notice any odor. Maybe there are different kinds? And no headaches yet thank goodness!

Had my trigger shot this morning and will finally get to have my first IUI tomorrow. Been trying to get to this point since June. I know the chances of your first IUI being successful are slim but I am going to hold out hope!

I was in a raging bad mood last night and woke up upset this morning feeling worn out by all the emotion if that makes sense. I'm already thinking about next steps etc. I wish I could fast forward to Thursday and just find out one way or another.

honestly I feel you right now. But please don't give your hopes up. I did the same thing my first iui only for them to tell me it's very rare to get a BFP the first round of iui and that I was at the very beginning of my fertility journey ... I'm like no I'm not!!!! I've been here for 2 1/2 years!!!!! I didn't start any procedures til last month tho... My first year of trying I wasn't even ovulating soooo waste of time but mentally it still counts !

@roxgibbons same! I have absolutely no symptoms besides this disgusting progesterone capsule running out of my vag. I too am already thinking about next steps. Maybe it's just our way of protecting ourselves emotionally, to keep our minds productive instead of focusing on what we feel in our guts to be true. I hate counting myself out of the game because then I think "well there are so many people who go weeks and weeks not knowing that they are so maybe your lack of all symptoms is normal". And then I'm like "seriously Kate stop getting yourself excited".
If my test is negative on Thursday I swear I'm ordering myself an entire pizza and chicken wings and a pint of ice cream, don't care what anyone says! LOL.
We've got this girls, this second half of the 2ww sucks, and we are all up and down. Let's just hang tough!
@kh87- yeah today has been a whole range of emotions but I guess it's important to remember we're still in it until we find out otherwise on Thursday. The no symptoms is such a weird thing- I don't like it at all- some people don't find out for weeks (so many people I know) and get pregnant without trying or are drinking and doing whatever. Something I reminded myself today and it helped was that I'm doing everything in my power to make this happen and I listed it all out. I think this applies to all the ladies on these boards.
LOL about this pizza. I'll be right there with you with a couple of glasses of wine if this doesn't work out this cycle.

I hope it's that.... I mean WAY too early for AF and it wasn't pink it was brown.... Who knows... Omg the emotional roller coaster today.... And my face is like the Rocky Mountains... I never break out so this is annoying for me... I'm sad one minute that I'm out then angry because all my friends are pregnant or have babies.... Then I'm like laughing at myself because I'm already telling myself I'm not pregnant when in reality it's way too early to tell!!! It's true I think it's us mentally preparing ourselves for the worst... But I agree the second half of the 2ww is TORTUROUS !!! the first week I'm actually happy and excited then the second weeks shows us and like oh f*^%!!!!

What's all my cycle buddies symptoms looking like today? It's 9dpiui and I'm still feeling little pulls and stretches in uterus but no more sore boobs and I'm still bloated... Maybe my body is getting used to the progesterone? My skin is clearing up too .. Let me know! I'm curios... And I'm not spotting anymore either it was for one wipe that was it
