It's freaking 80 degrees here with horrible humidity. I haven't been able to pull out my scarves or anything. I just want it to feel like the holidays already, dammit!
@chanfa DH and I just had the same conversation yesterday. We can't get enough of that show and I feel like it takes forever for it to come back each season!
@dolewhipper I couldn't agree more. I took DD to this "winter"fest event this weekend and we were melting. They had piped fake snow in the park to make little sled rides and it was like slush.
1. I wake up in the middle of the night/early morning with the most awful aching stomach feeling. At first I thought it was hunger, but it's not. Is this heartburn? It's not in my throat though. WTF is wrong with my stomach in the middle of the night. (I realize this could go in the daily symptoms thread, but I'm too lazy to go back and edit my post there)
2. I am eating a salad right now. Like an actual real salad, with real vegetables. Real food people. This. Is. Big.
@megstervt sounds like hunger to me. Heartburn (at least for me) never felt like it was in my belly. Is it gas or cramping? Maybe just your uterus expanding?
Maybe gas? I don't know, it's weird. It's just this intense dull ache. My hunger usually feels more stomach growl-y/rumbly and this feeling is not that. I thought it was hunger though, but last night I ate at 9:30 right before I went to bed and I woke up at the same time (2:30ish) with the same feeling. Eating crackers or bananas doesn't seem to help it either. All I can think of is this after typing that:
Random RANT: when I ask for milk for DD's kid's meal and the restaurant employee asks if I want "white or chocolate milk".
- THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS WHITE MILK! If you need to attach a descriptor to it, at least just call it "plain milk". - If I didn't specify chocolate milk, then I am asking for plain/regular milk.

I feel both of your points on a deep level. I, too, have been getting the middle of the night tummy situation. It's sort of similar to hunger but not (if that makes sense).
Also, I ate an entire bag of salad mix yesterday and felt zero shame.
@megstervt - I get that, too except mine is throughout the day - it feels like my stomach is in knots. I'm pretty sure mine is hunger, though. I get hungry but am too sick to eat. It seems on the days that I'm able to actually eat I don't have the pains.
@juliagulia38 Yes!!!! We had a week off for Thanksgiving and it was so freaking nice not having to get up early to get him ready and get him to school every day.
My random. I might be living on pickle and tomato sandwiches this pregnancy. I have so many aversions this go around its been ridiculous. So far this is the only consistent good thing for me.

I want it to be April so we're all that much farther from first tri and that much closer to outside babies! Does any one else think it's weird babies in the womb are thought of as in another dimension? Think about, so many birth announcements say "baby xyz entered this world today!" What "world" were they in yesterday.....?
Holy effff, my boobs. ouch, I think they allready doubled and I'm only 5 weeks 6 days. Did not have this issue with my first.
AND
To you women who say you are showing, IT IS BLOAT!! Not just on here, but in the first tri board. Hit 12, 13,+ weeks then you can call it a baby bump. Otherwise, drink lots of H2O, watch your sodium (because and 3 slices of pizza or fries makes anyonr look pregnant) take a poop!
And yes... I might just be a hormonal B, but we all are and it's share time.
@quartz02 - I asked if they had skim, 2% or vitamin D, and she looked at me like I had 3 heads. "We have white and chocolate." Water it is!
I think I'm going to need to invest in pants with elastic waistlines early in this pregnancy. My jeans were fitting fine, with a little room to grow even, this morning... I had to unbutton and unzip them by 11am. Luckily I'm wearing a tunic today!
Random compliant for the day - I just feel like absolute shit and want to cry. Same thing, every day. Can hardly eat and can't even drink water. I've been trying juice but it's so sugary and makes me feel bloated. Just want the 2nd trimester to be here...whine over .
Random office rant: It is NEVER OKAY to bring your kids to the office!!! NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!! If your childcare fell through, TAKE THE REST OF THE DAY OFF. ESPECIALLY if your child care fell through because your kids are sick! Why are you bringing sick kids to what is supposed to be a WORK PLACE to spread their germs?! I think I'm going to go ahead and leave early today because 2 noisy children in the cubicle next to me is not cute or fun, it's distracting, and because they're coughing and sneezing and snotting everywhere and I am not interested in being exposed to this. These kids should be at home in PJs resting! Take your work home (totally an option here). Take a half day (also an option, we're a flexible place!). Or have your wife work from home or take a half day. There are options other than bringing sick kids to talk loudly and cough all over your co-workers! I solemnly vow NEVER to do this! Also there goes my productivity completely out the window! JUST NO. NOT OKAY.

We had someone do this last week, the child was coughing all over the office. Yuck. It's the same lady though who would pump out in the open in her cubicle while working, so I honestly should not have been surprised.

Hey if you gotta pump you gotta pump. Power to her for feeling comfortable enough to do it wherever. Sick kids in the office, nope. Pumping anywhere, totally acceptable.
Marriage is hard we are true opposites and it's so hard sometimes to communicate I just feel broken and hurt tonight I don't have the energy or patience for people to tell me I'm wrong, judge me for being honest about my marriage or tell me to leave because I don't believe in leaving not in my situation it's just hard. And I'm tired of seeing everyone on social media and even on here paint their marriages as so perfect

I'm sorry you are feeling like this. Marriage is hard! I've been married to DH for 6 1/2 years and the first 1-3 years were rough! Me and DH are total opposites too. I have to tell him exactly what I need/expect from him. I have to remember he can't read my mind . After 6 years we are finally on the same page(most of the time) Marriage is something you constantly have to work and fight for. We also have a rule: never go to bed angry. So if we fight we hash it out and come to a resolution before we go to sleep. Feel free to PM me if you just want someone to vent to.
Thank you so much @juliagulia38 we haven't even been married a year yet. Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm a don't go to bed angry person too but I'm trying to be understanding that he is a needs space to process guy which is so hard for this extrovert to handle. I will most definitely private message you more likely for advice and wisdom
My DS2 has some kind of stomach bug and has had the runs for a few days now. He has a Dr appointment tomorrow morning but he's been waking up whimpering and crying because his tummy hurts. My heart just aches for him because I know he feels awful and I can't really do anything to help him.
@Lindsayleigh1989 Marriage is hard! My husband and I are very different in many ways and that can definitely cause communication issues. Social media doesn't help, people always show the best moments but no one talks about the fight that started over what to have for dinner and then escalated. I remind myself all the time that no relationship is perfect and that it takes work everyday.
@Lindsayleigh1989 the bad days never get shared on social media... Just remember everything you are seeing from other people is a carefully crafted, filtered version of a moment in their life that they want you to see... Everyone has their bad days too! Hang in there!!
Lindsayleigh1989 have you guys figured out your love language? My H works in IT and I'm in sales so our communication style is very different. Once we figured out how to communicate it was a lot smoother. Also, figuring out how to fight fair, and knowing what each other needs when we're upset (him: needs alone time for about 20 minutes, me: needs to hugged and consoled). We meet in the middle.
@Lindsayleigh1989 I'm right there with you! We've been married 3.5 years and it feels like this is the hardest year yet. Marriage is good but so hard! I love him always but sometimes it's difficult! I try and remember that our marriage WILL get better if we are working on it! It doesn't always have to be this way. ((Hugs)) to you! Sorry you're having a hard time!
