Since all 3 of our embryos are only good to fair condition we will thaw all 3 and transfer all that make it! My RE is confident that 2 will survive the thaw. I would be thrilled with twins! LOL
I did my first PIO this morning... it didn't hurt going in... but it is a lil sore now and I have a lil knot under the injection site. I warmed the PIO using the heating pad while I iced my butt and then I basically just stabbed myself... I just kept thinking people using steroids do this all the time... I can do this. LOL...

Day 2 PIO shot in the books... and they aren't that bad, but I definitely don't like them... and it is like I keep thinking about how many of these I still have to do. @halips did her first one today... I'm hoping it went smooth for her. This one is just so much more of a process, having to ice my butt first, warm the PIO and then heating pad on my butt after the shot... the first shot bruised...which is like eww.

I bruised a little on my tummy as well after so many months of injections I guess it was bound to happen. but this bruise on my butt... this is out of control.

That makes me wonder, are you sure you are doing it in the right place? I know a girl that had horrible reactions because she was injecting in the wrong spot. I was told to envision a + on your cheek and that it should go in the upper right quadrant for the right cheek and upper left for the left cheek.
Yeah, I have a small cup that I use to mark the spots on my butt, the one I did today didn't bruise but the one yesterday did. RE told me it could happen, but I bruise pretty fast in most cases anyways and then with me being on baby aspirin I kinda expected it.

First PIO shot done! DH was a champ! He told me he watched a ton of videos at work today (which concerns me since he's an electrician and drives from job to job all day, not sure WHEN he had time for this...). He started lecturing me on proper needle use and alcohol swabbing, getting air bubbles out etc. I was all "Bruh-I've been giving myself shots for 6 months now, I got this." I DIDN'T EVEN FEEL IT! Ice is magic stuff! He drew circles on my bum to make himself more comfortable with jabbing me, but other than that, it was easy breezy. I slightly worry that we didn't get the exact right spot because it was so easy. I have a tiny knot there now, but no pain or anything yet. I was half tempted to look at the bottle of PIO and taunt it "bring it on", but I refrained.

13 was awesome! We ended up with 6 mature and 4 that grew to 5 day. We had all 4 frozen in order to do PGS. One embryo is euploid (chromosomally normal) and it is a girl. They'll prep my uterus for an early 2016 transfer!

That makes me wonder, are you sure you are doing it in the right place? I know a girl that had horrible reactions because she was injecting in the wrong spot. I was told to envision a + on your cheek and that it should go in the upper right quadrant for the right cheek and upper left for the left cheek.

Good morning! I missed so much the past weekend! So glad PIO doesn't seem that bad! I am super excited for my US and BW on Wednesday. Fingers crossed that the lining looks good and we can schedule the FET for 12/15. 8 more days!
