Not only did I just announce to my husband via text message that I (FINALLY!) pooped, I sent him a smiling selfie from the stall. I have no shame. Gee, this couldn't possibly be part of the reason our sex life has been slowing down, could it?

DH is the manager of his store. I have had my anatomy scan scheduled for nearly two months, and at first thought he wouldn't make it because of a conference he was going to attend. We found out last week that he didn't have to go to the conference, and I was SO excited because he hasn't been able to do any of the other ultrasounds (4 total) since the dating u/s. He gets a bit jealous that I've been able to see bean so many times so this was a big deal. DH's store hours recently changed for the holidays, as did his schedule. I checked with him THREE times to make sure he would be working the late shift and would be able to make it to my 8:30 AM a/s. Three. Effing. Times. And now he is just realizing that he has to open, meaning he has to be there at 9:30. His store is an hour away. I'm so mad I don't even want to speak to him, which I know is stupid, but dammit I verified!

He says he's working on it but he won't be home for another hour and I'm not opening his texts, because I'm an adult, so I hope he finds out before then. I'm trying really hard not to be childish but I'm feeling awfully hormonal.
Early confession: I took the day off today to do a "transition day" at DD's new daycare where she has a short day and I stayed a while before leaving. I had planned to use my "free time" to catch up on grading, but instead I have spent the last three hours shopping.
How did it go? I feel like for my son, me staying there would have made it worse in the beginning. (Now he is so happy to be there he doesn't even say bye unless I force him to). But the first couple weeks while transitioning the teachers said he calmed down like 5-10 min tops after I left so I just made it as quick as possible. But he also was the kind that Ferber didn't work for him, he'd get way too riled up when he saw us instead of calm down, we had to do old school CIO and it worked so much faster. (For us obviously)
I think for L the transition days were good. We did three total (1 hour, 3 hour, 6 hour) and today was her first "real" day. She definitely wanted me to stay yesterday, but I had made it clear that I was only staying for a little bit and would be back right after her nap. She took a nap (small miracle in itself), and when I got there to pick her up she wanted to stay and play some more, so we painted for 10ish minutes and then I had to convince her it was time to go home as she was eagerly trying to be line leader down to the gym. One of her teachers said she cried a little bit today, but all in all she seems to be adjusting much better than I was anticipating.

Moms of bugs in preschool/daycare: DS is an awesome sleeper. At home he naps from about 1230-330. We put him in he crib with his paci and "doggy" and he rolls over to his belly and goes to sleep. He napped great at preschool the first few months. Suddenly he won't nap at school! Any suggestions? Is this a phase hell outgrow? Nap time is 1230 at school so same time of day.

Has his teacher changed at school? Are they doing a different routine? Is he by a kid who is distracting, or do they have a new addition to the class who is keeping him awake?

Does he bring a blanket from home for naps at school? DD has a "school only" nap blanket on hat helped her.
Bigs not bugs! No teacher changes. Two teachers for 9 kids, and will stay the same til summer. I think only 5 kids are full day so there's room in the class that he's not right by another kid. Maybe I'll send one of his stuffed animals. He has a napmat, not his blanket, but he never needed it before. He also usually sleeps right by the book and stuffed animals little corner so he can take any, but I'll find a dog that looks like his doggy to send to school and see if that helps!
The teachers don't let him do anything loud and he's not crying, I think he just sits and plays in his cot, but it's just so weird because he was napping there, and at home it's literally a 3 second process to get him down.

I had my 20 week ultrasound today and everything looked good just waiting on the official report her little lips and nose are killing me they are so cute . Her massive feet were up by her head and she was Kicking up at the probe so much I had to turn over and get up a few times to move her around.
So I had an apt today and even with my shoes on and sweater I hadn't gained weight (doc wasn't concerned), so I decided to treat myself and had mcdonalds breakfast (I get fast food like 2 times a year maybe so big deal). Get ready for my first world problem. I'm almost home and I open my sandwhich and my mcgriddle has sausage. No egg or cheese. There's a different McDonald's closer to my house so I go to the drive through and they basically didn't want to help me because it was from a different McDonald's?!?! What?! Aren't you like the most corporate restaurant ever? Just give me egg and cheese. I'll put it on myself.
