35 week scan!

My first son was pretty large! So just to get an estimate the doctors ordered a scan for today. They said it looks like I'll have more of a normal sized baby this time but he's running in the 78th percentile! So probably looking at around 8 pounds I'd assume!? I know this is just an estimate and can go either way. Has anyone has experience or experiencing the same!?! (And just like his brother he did NOT want a picture today lol)

There's an amazing feature here on The Bump. It's called the search feature. Everyday 3 people are posting about their growth scans. If you don't want to use the search feature then just scroll down the board a little and I'm sure you will see the numerus other post regarding this same exact topic. Not trying to be rude but it gets tiresome seeing the same things posted everyday. We like to keep it clutter free and try not to over post about the same topics because the more important things get over looked. Not saying that your growth scan is not important but if you really just wanted to know if others were experiencing the same thing you could have just looked around a bit and saw for yourself that yes there are many people experiencing the same thing.

This is only my first baby but at my 35 week scan baby was measuring in the 17th percentile at 5lbs 1 oz. Doctors think he's just going to be a small baby because I'm not a very big person. Likewise, it was hard to get a good picture because the amniotic fluid levels are getting lower.

ETA: Just in case you're wondering: Yes, we're all experiencing it. We all want to know how big the child we'll be pushing out our Virginias/having a c-section for will be. Doctors cannot be precise, they can only guess. You know, because they're not robots with crazy good eyesight. That's why they're called estimates. Which is -- look at that! -- exactly what you were told. So... I don't really see the point of this thread.

I have had a growth scan every week for the last 5 weeks because my son is record setting large. Yet I have still not posted my very own thread about it. I've just tacked on to those already in existence. I don't think I'm more special than any of you other ladies. Nor do I think it warrants it's very own discussion when there are already so many in circulation.

From what I've gathered she got offended because I pointed out how to use the search feature. And then showed her some of the threads already in circulation on this topic. As a result she called me a c u next Tuesday and then followed up with calling me a bitch.

A) who are you? Are you due in December? Are you lurking from another month? B ) I'm not sure why we "need to get out of our feelings." One of our most valued members was called a c u next Tuesday for saying what everyone else was thinking and then called a bitch when others came to her defense.
