I had just heated up a cup of hot apple cider and was doing dishes when DH came in from outside, made some small talk, and went back out. After he'd left I realized he drank over half of my cider; which I had stirred a dose of Miralax into! It will probably be the last time he takes something of mine without asking! Too bad it's not a stronger laxative...
March 2016 Moms: January Siggy Challenge "Pregnancy Problems"
My husband likes to think of himself as a jack of all trades. He's an "I watched a YouTube video so I know how to do it" expert. When in reality he has NO experience in home improvement or any of this other shit. Today I get home from work and he is supposed to be staining our kitchen cabinets. Instead he is attaching some molding to the tops and cursing at his tools. He starts complaining to me and I said "well, do you think it would be going better if you'd discussed doing that with me first?" because at no point in time did we ever talk about adding molding, which he has never done, to my kitchen cabinets. His response was "No, because you would have told me no and it needs to be done." SO this blanker blanker apparently forgot that this is my house and my opinion matters. I'm tempted to milk pregnancy hormones and randomly paint a wall hot pink and tell him I didn't ask him first because he would have told me no.
Lol @JessKo08! That'll teach him to swipe a beverage from a pregnant gal!
@SarahFoley725 eurgh sorry about that. I guess it's good in a way he is trying to be helpful....? My DH is more clueless than I am when it comes to this stuff. Either way, hope it gets sorted out! You're perfectly entitled to be pissed right now!

@2goofykids So glad that baby is okay but sending thoughts your way in hopes that you can start to feel better and that there isn't much more pain that you have to indure. When I was younger my mom had me drink carnation breakfast mixes with whole milk to help me gain healthy weight. They are supper yummy. You may enjoy them.
I can't believe it's only Tuesday... This week is dragging. I want to post a meme but can't figure it out with the new bump crap going on so I will just quote it for you because it sums up the way it been feeling about a few coworkers:

Good luck everyone with appointments tomorrow. I am planning to just hang with ds and enjoy some quality time now that he is feeling better. I also have a ton of housework that I think I am going to skip tonight and make up tomorrow when I can. I just don't have it in me tonight. Ds's bday is Sunday though so tomorrow I am really going to have to get my act together. Going to do OCtonauts theme and I need to prepare snack choices. Not to mention the fact that I promised to make him an Octonauts themed cake. I need to find an egg shaped cake pan asap!!
So all of you btdt moms, I have a new recipe for a chicken spaghetti with a secret ingredient of Drano, which is only counteracted with dousing in bbq sauce. Anyone want the recipe? 4 year Olds hate it.

Lol, Dh tends to take my drink alot without asking: I don't tell him anymore when I put miralax in my drink. For a while there I would shake up warm seven up to make it flat so it would stay down. The look on his face when he got a swallow of warm, flat, seven up. He knew I was doing it, but it never seems to sink in that he should at least say "hey, I'm going drink you drink, k?"
