I know the feeling about not being too excited to share because you're really not "safe" to announce till week 13. And because it's been such a struggle I really feel like I won't believe it if it's a BFP! But I have to tell my parents and my closest friends who know.
@halips I'm good! Keeping a positive attitude. Im also comfortable I'm on the right level of hormonal support because no spotting or worse a period. If there's a baby (or 2!) in there they'll be in good shape!!! Thanks for asking. I had bad cramps a few days ago and now I just feel an occasional twinge in my uterus which is a completely new sensation for me!! And my boobs are swollen and so painful. I'm taking these as good signs But we'll see!!!!!! No to HPT. I don't want to jinx it. Did they give you the yes on Sunday yet!!??? How exciting!!!

@erinscaren ask the doctor if they give you a boost dose of gonal the night you trigger. This helps development! My REs standard is 300 all throughout (for women in late 30s) and a boost of 450 units w the trigger shot. This will help borderline size develop into perfect size!!!

I had my ER last month, but the day before my fresh transfer was scheduled the transfer was cancelled due to OHSS. We have 10 frosties, all underwent PGD/CCS. 5 boys and 5 girls. Tonight, I take my last BCP and then begin Estradiol as long as b/w and u/s are good to go on Wednesday.

Just wanted to join the chain and introduce myself. I'm a long time reader first time poster. Currently on BCPs prior to starting my Follistim and Menopur + dexamethasone on 11/20 for my first cycle of IVF and I'm pretty excited. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who is party of this community. Even though I haven't posted it has really helped me survive my 3 failed cycles of IUI that were emotionally draining. Here's hoping for BFP with IVF! My planned egg retrieval is December 2nd!

After several days of waiting for the bump to make me a member I can finally post a replh. I want to thank all of you ladies for your candor and honesty in the group. You've helped me already so much. I hope I can be as supportive to all of you. A little intro about me: I am 33 and DH 35. We had been trying for a little over 2 years with no luck. Went to an RE over the summer and diagnosed blocked tubes after HSG (ouchy!) so IVF is our only option. I started stims (Menopur and Follistim) on the 29th. Had u/s and b/w this morning and have 14 follicles looking good and possibly triggering tomorrow night. Up until this point the shots haven't been too terrible (although I feel terrible!) but the trigger shot scares me like whoa! Any advice from you ladies that triggered already?
I hope to get to know all of you through this process and we can all get through this!! FX for BFP's for us all!

@ChristinaV2015 I have triggered and it was fine. I too was scared (just be glad it's the last one). I did read (before my trigger ) that dome people had large red bump but I personally didn't experience any of that. Good luck

Did anyone take baby aspirin during the wait before ET? And post transfer did anyone eat copious amounts of pineapple? I hear it help with implantation :-/ I am so super excited for my Jan cycle!! Can't wait to share when it all starts :x
@Carlaisy pineapple and baby aspirin do the same function, increase blood flow in the uterine lining, so take one but not both. The pineapple is good Bc it serves two functions, enhanced blood flow and anti-inflammatory improving how your immune system reacts to the baby. Whichever you do, start taking after ER and all the way through 5days after ET if pineapple. If baby aspirin, follow your REs advice.
So hard to keep track of both groups! But I read through all the posts and there seems to be so many great things happening!

New to the board...was waiting for the FET so that I can official join the board...this is my second transfer.. First one was fresh two blastocyst transfer which failed. That time I had developed 18 eggs out of which 15 reached the stage of blastocyst so we chose to froze all of them to be safe and for not going through the whole process again..!!! This time two frozen blasts were transferred yesterday afternoon.. I hope it works out this time. I have been dizzy since last night, especially when I lie down on bed... Is there any connection of this with transfer?
@PrayingMom2Be were your other cycles back to back? I'm hopeful that this cycle will work, but I'm a planner and like to get all the info I can. How long did you have to wait between cycle?

@ChristinaV2015 Welcome! the trigger shot was the only one that actually hurt while I was getting it but it really wasn't that bad. Its also means your getting closer, which is really exciting!

Seems like most of us will be in the TWW soon! Im three days away from beta! I won't do the HPT because I know regardless of the result it would drive me crazy wondering if its right....
Just left my ET and we transferred 2 grade A embabies, BETA is scheduled for 11/18. All those in the 2WW with me let's make it a fast and smooth one so we can get those BFPs!!!

@villacis811 Thanks! The trigger injection was a cinch! I am taking the day of ER per doctor's instructions! The doctor that was there today acted like I might want to be off the day after, too, but I'm going to go back Wednesday. What day is your beta? Excited for you!
