@spatter1 I have been bringing my husband to all my appointments in the first trimester, just in case. He really wants to come because he wasn't there when they discovered the MMC and he felt horrible that I had to come tell him. Once the appointments get more frequent I think he will come less.
Yes, same happened to me, so he is coming with me to all of them until I feel comfortable to go alone/end of first trimester.

My husband has come to all my appointments so far. His work schedule is flexible and as you ladies have said, he doesn't want me to be alone if there is ever any bad news.
We're going in for a 12 week ultrasound on Monday. Fingers crossed!!
Appointment this morning went great! Heard the heartbeat almost immediately! It was strong at 158-160 bpm. I was so excited I almost cried. DH got a recording of it thanks to your suggestions ladies! Now we can listen whenever we want.
Good luck to everyone at their upcoming appointments! My next one isn't for 4 weeks (ahhhh!) and no ultrasound for another 6 weeks (double ahhh!).
They were able to squeeze me in so I went in for my NT Test this morning and everything looked fine. I saw baby suck its hand/thumb, turn around, kick its legs, and raise its arms up! Heard the heartbeat which took me by surprise Just one more day till I get the results for MaterniT21....hopefully all is well on that end too.

I have my first u/s next Monday and I'll be about 7 weeks and 4 days. This will be my milestone. Last time I had an awful feeling and this time I feel good about everything just worried. The doctor wouldn't order more u/s though so if this goes well I have to wait until the 12/13 week mark. Very nervous.
I have my first ultrasound Thursday at 7W 5D. Extremely anxious hoping for a pleasant visit for once. So far this pregnancy seems to be worlds different than my first which I am hoping is a good thing.
I had my appointment today at 10w3d and we heard a strong heartbeat on the doppler! I'm finally starting to feel just a bit optimistic about this. Next appointment is for ERA (Early Risk Assessment), which involves a meeting with a genetic counselor and an ultrasound, in about 2 weeks when I'll be just over 12 weeks.
So exciting that everyone is doing so well! I just came back from my consultation with the nurse, nothing eventful since there was no u/s but they took my blood and urine for testing. Still happy from the early u/s with HB at 6w1d last week! Anxiously awaiting my next u/s!

I had an appt today with my midwife and we did an ultrasound on her rather outdated equipment. We saw a shadow of a baby and maybe saw it wiggle, but her equipment wasn't good enough to tell if it had a heartbeat or not. So we scheduled another appt for nov 7.
I was feeling so hopeful and full if peace.
But tonight after dinner i had started spotting. I'm so sad. Even though it's super light, it's starting to turn pink and i just feel like i'm going to loose my third pregnancy this year around the 8wk mark.
To make it worse, this week is so full! I'm throwing a giant 30th burthday for my husband and hosting his whole family for through the weekend. I've hosted while miscarrying before and it just sucks.
So my new next U/S is today at 2pm because I fell down some steps last night. It wasn't too bad and definitely not a full flight but they are having me come in for a sono and bloodwork to make sure baby is okay. I'm 16+5wks.

I went in today at 11+4 and I got to hear the heartbeat. Dr said things were looking good and that the loss of symptoms is normal so I can hopefully stop worrying all the time. Hope all your appointments go well!

It may depend on how accurate your dates are. I went in at 6 wks +4 and we got to hear the hb but they have told me every pg it may be too early at 6 wks.

When I went for 6w1d appt. we saw the heartbeat. I agree with pp the baby will be small but you can squint and see the little tadpole if the doc can get the right angle. Good luck

I go in thursday afternoon @borgahurst. I can't remember now if they said i would have an u/s or not. I was just thinking i would since i have at every appt so far. If i do i'll be 16 wks so we might might find out the sex. [-O< I am so anxious. Good luck on yours!!
Oooh, so exciting ladies as we get further along! Keep us all updated. I don't go in until 11/9 at 16.5w. So in the mean time I wait for my home Doppler to be delivered! (Yes, I caved and now I'm going to be even crazier!)
Mine's on Halloween. My last one before my month-long trip. I'll have another one during my trip with my old doc when I used to live there. G'luck with your appts ladies!
Going in for a US today because I had some bleeding over the weekend. It wasn't much, and everything looked great at our 12 week US last week, so fingers crossed this is nothing.
Just had my 2nd ultrasound at 10weeks last Tuesday and baby's heart was beating at 151bpm and measuring right on schedule. Next appointment is on November 12th and we will hopefully hear our little pumpkin's heart beat.
I'm nervous and scared, but trying to remain optimistic!
