I lost it at my desk... my boss came over and just hugged me because she knew I was waiting on the update!! Words can not adequately express how relieved I am to know that I have 3! Especially when based on my numbers my doctor was hoping to just get 1. I called DH and I cried....I've been crying on and off since. I know with DOR my chances are much lower than the average, I know that I have a higher chance of the eggs being abnormal... but my doctor was so amazing and she kept telling me that I had age on my side, she was never concerned about whether or not we could get a healthy blast, she was only concerned about how many we would get. The fact that SHE personally called me and she was damn near screaming at me on the phone... she's like Shay... WE GOT 3 BLASTS!!! WE GOT 3 BLASTS!! I couldn't even respond... I just started balling! To know that we have at least 3 chances before we have to consider another IVF stim round is an unbelievable relief.
I don't know what kinda wreck I would've been without the support on this board. You all know how to keep a person positive in the face of such scary unknowns and you all get it! Nobody is sad when one gets good news, we are all excited and happy for each other... that makes this group so unique. I took a glance at some Infertility blogs on other sites and the women seem so bitter and hopeless...I'm so glad that we are not like that.

It's so ironic, I've had more symptoms in the cycles that ended in a BFN than I do in my only BFP cycle! Praying the my numbers keep climbing!

I'm so optimistic but when I can't feel any symptoms it makes me feel like it didn't work. I know that's not the case and I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. It makes me so happy to see others joy. What an amazing group that's here. I can't wait to continue to hear the good news. For those who don't have good new this month .. There is hope....or if it doesn't work for me this month you all give me hope!!!

I ventured out into our birth month board today, but was saddened after all the amazing admirational stories I've grown with here and the joyful moments we share.
There was a question about marijuana use during pregnancy and women were actually arguing for. The fact that it was even a discussion topic just broke my heart. It was hard too, to identify with women who were there with whoopsy or 1st month trying BFPs. I'm still living and breathing by my beta and nightly injects. I'm gonna stay in my safe little corner with y'all a wee bit longer and then hope we transition to the PAIF board as a unit. I think the experiences on the birth month at this early stage are just too different from what we've all been through for me to feel invested. Maybe that will decrease as things go on...
@Joyzie77 I have a gut (or should I say uterus?) feeling it is twins.... But obviously could go either way... Numbers are on the high side but not a definitive indicator....
@HBamama2B I totally understand how ypu feel. I've been lurking some TTC boards, some first time mommy boards. All depressing conversations or shocking conversations. I'll pass...we all have a totally different view of conception and pregnancy than others. My IF friend told me that even after she got her babies she could never shake the annoyance she felt when she heard pregnant women complain about not being able to drink, not knowing she would do anything to be in there shoes or get pregnant without even trying.....

Graduation is Monday at 3:30pm we hope the Beans are growing healthy and strong they have moms tummy roller coasting the last few days.

@Knottie24173360 We are due on the same day!...Well, with twins you'll be going a few weeks sooner. Congrats on the graduation! Are you nervous too? I've been waiting for mine (on Tuesday) but I'm so used to the weekly sonos and blood work it makes me anxious to not be monitored anymore.
So those that have BFP, were you told any new restrictions or anything? Light exercise okay? And what about sex?! "> Is 1 cup of coffee a day still okay? Outside of the obvious stuff not sure what else I should be doing....
@LCK0830 Thanks! We are thinking next weekend (pending a healthy ultrasound on Wednesday!). I got 'grand mother' and 'loving aunt' Pandora charms, 'rockin' awesome uncle' tshirts, and 'love at first sight' frames from Etsy to put u/s photos in for the granddads! I'm so excited! Do you have good plans for the weekend? You need to stay distracted and busy! Monday will be here sooooooon!
That is so, so cute! When I naively started this whole process forever ago I made cards that say on the outside "guess what" then when you open it up read "you're going to be a grandma/grandpa/aunt/etc" and will have a picture inside. Hopefully I can actually give them out soon!
My parents are in town so that's a good distraction. I took a turn a few days ago where I have this "whatever happens happens" attitude. If I need to repeat the process in order to have my little one I will.
