@skruhmin congratulations on another boy! We are both going to be all boy mommas. @MrsLeanMeanClean that sounds rough...I would have left
It's actually the first type of therapy I have ever been do that didn't have me side eyeing the practitoner... its an 8 week "compassionate body and mind" course for conic disease patients to help us cope with limitations and frustrations. They don't pretend things can get better.... today was all about worry and the vicious circle it can create and drain your physical and mental resources. I am a good worrier .. epic... over plan for all possible problems

@skruhmin congrats on team blue. We are also finding boys names hard. Ds took forever to find a name and now I have nothing that jumps out at me. @red3ye we also bought ds a baby doll for him to practice with. Lol he has no interest in it but in hoping once baby comes. That being said his sitter says he is great with the baby there and he loves to help feed him and give him a bottle so that makes me happy.
So today I took the dog for a light jog (only 2 miles) but I couldn't finish. Not sure what the baby was doing but I felt a lot of pressure on my cervix and bladder and felt too uncomfortable to keep going. It's never happened before, but I've never run this far into pregnancy before either. Then when I got home I realized that I locked myself out of the house! Dh doesn't get home until 9 so I resorted to pulling out the ac unit and climbing from the deck railing through the upstairs window (probably not my safest pregnancy moves). Darn you pregnancy brain!
Congrats to all the healthy babies and exciting A/S appointments!
@soxfan9968, I was wondering the same things about anterior placentas, and if they can move in such a short time. I was told mine was anterior at my 12 week US and that I wouldn't feel baby for a long time...still felt baby relatively early (at about 14 weeks) and DH already felt baby move last week too and I'm 19+1.
Glad to see other people have not felt much movement yet. I have not felt anything except my stomach gurgling and digesting food. As a FTM I thought maybe I just didn't know what I was supposed to be feeling but I really don't think there is anything to feel. At ultrasounds though baby moves so much so I was unsure why I haven't felt it. Hopefully I will feel something soon.
I just realized that my due date is 5 months from today. Does that mean I'm only 4 months pregnant? How can that be? I've been pregnant forever already!!

Ikwym! Mine is five months from Thursday. I still don't get the whole months v weeks thing. On the bump video for 18 weeks it says I'm in my fifth month. So I'm four + months pregnant? I don't know, I can't figure it out!
@ecwk - I'm with you on the months vs. weeks thing. I don't get it. I usually stick with weeks when people ask how far along I am. Unless they're pregnancy-illiterate and have no concept of what "18 weeks" means - in which case I'll say, "about half way." Haha.

My mom does this! She's like how far are you now? 18w mom. Her response? Don't give me that weeks crap; idk what that means. We never said weeks when I was pregnant with you guys. It was just months. How many months are you? I'm all idek mom, divide it. More than 4, less than 5?

It's a good day when you can get 3 maternity jeans and 3 shirts for $30 total! And first time today I felt a definite pushing on my bladder temporarily. Preview of things to come.
Also, I know that I'm ill be 20 weeks on Thursday and if I figure out the starting point of that and then from that point I will be 9months and 4 days at 40 weeks. Or 5 months at the end of this month.
Little man up extra early today compared to when he normally is. But I understand. My sister and her daughter are staying with us for the next 2 weeks or so and she was on her phone at 7 am so it woke him up. Sigh* he is up 2 hours earlier than usual and it is making me realize how spoiled I have gotten during this pregnancy. I have been going to bed at 11pm when he does and sleep till he wakes up close to 9am. So I usually get about 10 hours of sleep on a good night and last night I went back to how I used to sleep: 7 hours of sleep.
I'm feeling a little better today. I went shopping last night and all I bought was a baby bottle lol. I bought a Tommee Tippee bottle- I was going to get just a cheap one but they all had colors and even the "neutral" ones I felt were still biased one way or another (the orange and teal bottles still had airplanes and helicopters on them- pink and purple ones had flowers on them, and the blue ones had trucks). I go a little overboard on the "what is neutral?" stuff. I had found a cute outfit that seemed to be neutral- a black pair of pants with a khaki/brown sweatshirt- until I turned it around to find a monkey on the sweatshirt that had a pink bow on it's head. I swear I can't find ANYTHING in the store
Anyway, I have my injection appointment this afternoon and I hope I can talk with the nurse a little about the "low lying" placenta. I shouldn't be googling things but when the nurse told me I had it I looked it up and freaked myself out. I am terrified of surgery period.

I hope that goes well! I'd only heard of it once before when my doctor said "you can still have sex unless...." I'm really afraid of having surgery as well, (cue Elizabeth Banks scene from what to expect when you're expecting).
OMG. I am embarrassed to admit this, but I actually like most of those names. Wouldn't use them, bc nms, but I think they sound lovely. I'm laughing at myself, but those are some of the best made up names ever. Also, I love sunshine and day-drinking, so there's that.

@oceanchild you mean you wouldn't use one of these youneek names?! Lol I laughed at myself too, because I liked some of the spellings, but felt she missed the mark on pronunciation. ) Edited because wrong emoji
As for baby names, I swear there was a set of siblings at my school named Tyranny and Natas (Satan spelled backwards). Mom admitted to purposely doing this to both children.

I STG my doctor just tried to give me a heart attack. I emailed her asking about some pressure I've been having that makes it feel like I'm going to spit this baby out any time I use the restroom, sneeze, laugh etc.
She emailed me back and said I should make an appointment so we can't chat in person. I of course start panicking texting my husband who is 4 states away. I called the office and she was like OMG no I'm so sorry I just meant that these questions are easier to explain in person rather than through an email but I'm not worried at all. She said she just wanted to ease my nerves and keep me from stressing but I'm pretty sure she knocked 3 years off of my life in the process.
So here's the "aha!" moment of the day. Either that or "holy crap!". I'm 8 weeks away from third trimester. Hard to believe Christmas will be full of third trimester hugeness.

Guys. I am exhausted. Gotta start making our packing lists for Disney! Only 18 days until the babymoon begins! But I am so tired. I might just nap instead (; anyone else just getting their butts kicked by exhaustion today?
Can't believe I'm gonna have a little baby boy in just a few more months! So crazy to think that this time last year I was still doing my own thing, traveling out of the country, and now I'm getting ready to meet my son (: just so happy (:
@2goofykids Yesterday it hit me HARD. I kept almost falling asleep wherever I went. It sucked. Today is a tad better, but not by much. Have fun in Disney!!!
If you are bored and want to read some good drama (possibly MUD) head on over the baby names board and read the posts by Estrogenfest and then check out her old ones. Holy cow!
@skruhmin I mean, I get not wanting people to share links to other message boards, etc. but blatant censorship is ridiculous. We are allowed to make vague statements about TB per the TOU, correct? Or no?

You'd think so. And shouldn't we strive to make this place a little more humorous?? Especially with all the drama and negativity?

@bntfroggie lol funny you say this as I am the perfect person to go shopping with if you want to spend lots of money. "Oh no that looks great on you! Treat yo self!" Thankfully, my boss came back from an offsite meeting so I had to shut the etsy browsing down real fast.
