So excited for all these new boys! Are you finding out gender tomorrow, @skruhmin? I'm so jealous! My doctor's office refused to do my a/s until after 20 weeks.
Married 7.29.05 :: DD1 5.11.10 :: DD2 1.23.13 :: Baby Boy due 3.13.16!
Dang it. Naming this LO is going to be hard. I keep finding problems with the few names I see that I like. I just saw Embry somewhere and thought was an awesome name. Then I remembered it was a Twlight character (our first is Jacob). Drat.
Congrats on all the great appointments and all of these boys! I'll (hopefully) be finding out what's in store for us on the 23rd and I'll be at 20 w by then. This week we have a regular checkup.
I'm trying to catch up after my busy, fun, family-packed weekend! Looks like it was busy around here again, with the disappearance and reappearance of a familiar member of the group!
I wish I lived somewhere that had apple picking! We do have the usual pumpkin patches and stuff, and hoping to take DD soon.

Yes

DS3 - 2/21/16 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our family of 5 is complete!! Love our boys!
I'm calling it an early night. Back to work in the AM. My doctors office called after 5 but I was too bummed to answer the phone, so I will call the nurse back tomorrow. Probably calling to set up my next ultrasound.
February Siggy Challenge- Post pregnancy indulgences
@kynbar5@smushi@2goofykids congrats on joining team blue! It is so exciting to finally find out what people are having.
@charley15 sorry lo didn't cooperate. Our tech had an awful time getting all the shots she needed. Initially she told me I would have to come back, but then she had me walk around a little and the little guy finally moved (he was very happy presenting his profile, but not so into head shots). On the bright side you will get to see you lo again soon.
So our friends had shared with us that they were going to start trying for a baby after their aniversary in August. It's taking all my will power to be good and not inquire on how things are going. I want to know so badly how it's going for them but I would never even consider asking them... If it's not going well it's a sensitive subject and if they already are they may not be wanting to share the news yet. But I want a real life bump buddy so badly that the suspense is killing me!!! We've been so busy that we haven't seen them since August so I can't look for clues like no drinking... Which is how they figured out I was pregnant very early on. I know that's random... But since I can't ask her I'm dumping my impatient wondering on you guys.
I'm team blue too. Doc said "it's a boy!" As soon as the image popped up at 12 weeks. I was skeptical since it was so early, but he was still a boy at my 16 week ultrasound and my anatomy scan is the 23rd! So excited. I'm one of the lucky few that gets ultrasounds every 4 weeks even though I'm not high risk.
JLaVo888 - I'm right there with you. My SIL announced on labor day that they were no longer "trying not to get pregnant," which I know means that they're trying. But I also know she's the type that will want to do a big, cutesy announcement, so I don't want to steal her thunder and ask how it's going. I had people ask me if I was pregnant before I was ready to tell and I hated it! It's still hard to bite my tongue . . .

It's so hard!! But I also don't want her to think that she can't share her news if she is because of the fear of stealing my "spotlight". I'm so not the person to care about things like that and I think she knows that already but some people worry about sharing the news too soon after someone else. I'm just dying to have them over because I'm sure they would let us in on the scoop in person. We always are talking about babies etc.
Just came across this on Facebook in case anyone is interested. Too tired to find halloween costume thread and ressurect it. Tee hee. Ressurect... because it's halloween... haha. Yeah I know I'm sad.
Now that you are further along, no. In the early days the want you to as it helps lift the uterus up for the a/s. I actually remember going in at 40 weeks for one when I was pregnant with ds. I had a full bladder because I thought it was nessesary. The tech was scanning him and goes, "wow that's a full bladder". I explained that I really needed to go but wanted to make sure the scan went well. She actually stopped and let me pee before she continued. She told me it isn't nessesary after the uterus has lifted from the pelvis.
I made dinner, took about an hour to finish completely. Ate just about the same amount as my 2 year old ate, and now I am miserable. Wine over.
So excited for everyone and their appointments. Makes me get really anxious for mine. Glad it looks like we have so many healthy babies and happy mommas.
Yay for some heathy scans and lots of boys!!! So happy for you ladies! @charley15 your next scan will be here in no time - hope it is a little better for you!
I have had a nasty head cold for the past two days. Feeling so pathetic. I called into work for the first time since starting a year ago. Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day!
@JLaVO888 I was just noticing the same thing with the bright yellow pee. Interesting side effect. But so easy on my stomach! And feeling more energetic already.
Well I called my doctor's office back and got even more *good* news (NOT). I go back 11/11 for my next ultrasound. The tech couldn't get a good profile shot, and it looks like I have a low-lying placenta. If it doesn't move up in 4 weeks I will need a C-section to deliver and be out of work for 6 weeks.

Congrats on all the healthy babies and mommas out there!!! Reading about everyone's A/S is making me super anxious/excited for mine.....I have to wait until 10/21.....it feels so far away......patience is not one of my virtues, lol.
Oh my gosh so many little BOYS!! I am so excited for all of you. I guess my little girl will have plenty of prospective husbands wandering the world....if she likes guys that is.
I'd also like to give a random shout out of thanks to everyone for making me feel less crazy. My friends just don't seem to understand how I feel about anything, probably because they don't have kids! It's really nice to have other people be like yes your MIL is crazy!! haha
Hey ladies, wow...this thread is HARD to keep up with! Congrats on being team blue, ladies! It's a fun team to be on. I don't go back until 10/28 for my a/s, but I can't wait to see this little guy again.
My random comment: I dreamed dh was an alien sent to gather women to repopulate his species on his home planet. And we ate cheese cake this morning for breakfast cause I'm to lazy to make anything today.
Drum roll please............................... I'm joining the ranks of having a boy!!! This uterus only knows blue Baby boy is so healthy and growing well. And anterior placenta which explains the movements being few and far between (that I can tell - he was moving all over the screen).

I am so excited for all these boys!!!! but my crazies in my head tell me its lessening my chances of having one... (I know this is not true)
YAY boys
My cousin found out she was having a girl and for some reason (even though it was so stupid) I reasoned that we couldn't both have girls. Ahhh, hormones haha.
I'm kind of in shock....we were both "expecting" a girl since everything about this surprise pregnancy is...well...a surprise. I'm so happy though - healthy baby! Now for a name. It's easy for the first one....and even second....

Congrats on your healthy baby boy! I feel like I am having another boy too! I can't wait to find out saturday!
Auto page numbering in word is the devil. I just spent way too long trying to number 40 pages and get it to correctly skip the cover page...seriously??
