@dancegurl1118 no, its not you. There are like, 2 & 1/2 (yes, sure its possible to have half a person, why not?) people who keep starting threads about stuff that's been touched on in other threads. Its just obvious that they don't read the rest of the board or bother to look around and go 'oh hey, that could be about what I'm asking, it might be discussed there... Let me go look'.
has anyone else had their mobile app completely die? Ive been unable to post or like comments for like a week and a half now! Still can't post, so I'm doing so on the full website... How can I solve this???
^^ I've never used the app. I've always used the mobile website. It's fine most days, tho I don't get notifications. For anything. Even it has been a little wonky recently tho
@beckyk9109 make sure you are signed in on the app. This was happening to me and I thought I was signed in because my LO's picture and age displayed every time I opened the app but since I couldn't post anything, I went to "reply" to a comment and the app took me to the log in page.
I'm annoyed. Everytime I go to pump we get a patient in.......... Is this a law now ?!
Also............ I'm tired. 3 dumb hours of sleep today because my body is awesome!!! And I only have daycare til 1230 pm tomorrow afternoon. Bring on the gallons of coffee.
@klkonwi clear the bed and have a line in all afternoon. I've been jiggling toys at LO in bed from 5am - 6:45 everyday. I'm not fully asleep but darn close.
I kind of wish we had a private thread that only real J15'ers could read. Sometimes I want to share or ask something but don't want to throw it out there for everyone. I see we have 1.6K posts on this. I'd like to think randoms stay off randoms . . . That makes sense right?
@rklinge0 we should get together and trade babies for a few hours. I am really jealous of all these little babies and just want to hold and snuggle someone tiny. You can work on your triceps definition or leave him on the floor without worrying about the dog stepping on him . . . Sadly those are the only giant baby pluses I can think of . . . He certainly isn't sleeping long stretches like everyone insists he must!
I've been lurking lately when I'm caught up its interesting to read ahead and see that a lot of the challenges are the same (Mar 15) and nothing changes (Dec 15). Some good information and entertainment going on in other boards!
Yeah, I don't think the randoms read randoms - the number of posts is too intimidating. But lurkers might. I have also wished for a 'private' type of thread. One where we have a secret handshake and wear pink on Wednesdays
I don't know where else to post this because it's not really a 'sleeping' problem per se. DD hands turn into little ice cubes by morning. We are in an in between phase where it's too warm to turn on heat, but too cold to not slap another layer on her. Her core is warm, but her legs are a little cool. Not enough to make me worry. I don't know what to do about her hands though. She throws off mittens and socks, and likes access to her hands at night. We don't swaddle anymore. Any suggestions?
@cait7425 do you have any Jammies that have the little flaps that can go over their hands? That's what we use. We have 2 that I believe are Rosie Pope brand with hand flaps that we got at babies r us, but I know I have seen them all over the place

I get why people leave and start FB groups. I'll admit, I looked on Instagram to see if anyone posted baby pictures under #J15 or #June15. I didn't see any babies and I was a little disappointed.

FINALLY! It showed I was logged in but under "community" told me I needed to login in again to be able to post, etc. thanks!!
I created a group for the regulars. It has a code name that most will recognize. It's not moderated by the bump gods so we can freely express ourselves (and our juicy finds over there). If using the mobile app look for Groups under the Birth Months Club. Hope to see y'all there!

I clicked "join group" and it said a request had to be sent. I also had to put WHY I wanted to join the group. It seems rather obvious...

Sooo, do you have to stop pumping because you get "a patient" like 1 patient? You must be at a super small hospital? And you shouldn't have to stop pumping! Wth

We definitely need a secret password to go with the handshake.
@HayesRN13 my coworkers are overzealous but yes my hospital is not large. We have 13 beds on our floor and only staff 4 nurses at night. Day shift gets 6 nurses......... Figure that out... Ugh

I am from the San Francisco bay area. But dh and I are in LA for school. We've been here for five years now! I've experienced a hurricane and everything!
So on my fb I liked this page called Geek-Parents.com and they post a lot of neat stuff. She also just recently had a baby, too, randomly. Anyway... They shared this today. So 'awwww' worthy. And the face of evil queen is great
