Oh! There is another good thread in names that has died out, but it was entertaining to read. Its called 'na' and the body is some symbol like € or something. The poster deleted the header and the body, but someone in there QFP. Again, its the comments that make it entertaining
3 days before my BFP I got the most drunk I had been in about a year. I was also drinking almost a bottle of wine myself a night. No Bueno. Oh, and smoking. Granted I was testing everyday and only turned a test that day (9DPO) so I knew no harm was done.
ETA: I went to the names board to look at the boot thread and saw a thread asking about LO's name and I got nervous to read it. Then I thought wtf I already named her this and love it why does this matter?

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
It cracks me up that they use the word "misspelling" for baby names. I actually was way more judgmental about baby names, and a proponent of more traditional names, until I started lurking that board a week or so ago. Those ladies are so sanctimonious about it that now I'm feeling defensive of names like Jaxon and Babagoodabagoo. (Though the crap some people name their kids is fascinating!)
I've had weekly migraines since the week I got pregnant. So... For a year now. I was just prescribed Imitrex and have to pump and dump for 8 hours after I take it. I'm really afraid because LO is still hit or miss with a bottle and loves her some boob. She really needs it to fall asleep. Now I'm pumping like crazy to build up my freezer stash. Just curious, has anyone else had crazy migraines? I hope the Imitrex at least brings some relief.
@Sjeff0816 I don't get migraines, but I have been getting crazy tension headaches, everyday, for over a month. I have been headache free for a few days, and what helped me was watching my shoulders when feeding, carrying, and burping LO. I had to make sure I was keeping them down and not scrunched up. I also have been drinking s cup of coffee every day. The caffeine does wonders for me. Now if only I could get more sleep at night, I'd be golden.
I know migraines are way worse than what I had, but maybe some of those things may help you too. Good luck to you! I hope your medication gives you the relief you need.
I keep going back and reading @HayesRN13 comments about tummy sleeping. I'm so close to just doing it to see if he sleeps better. We got a full night last night but he was in the rock n play or in bed with us....
@amccoy129 I did it with DS1, around 3 months he wouldn't sleep longer than 30 minutes at a time on his back, ever. Stomach got us back to 2-3 hour stretched. This baby was better up every 3-3.5 hours and okay with his back. But now the last two weeks he's been up much more. I am going to try stomach if his goes another week. DS is having him nap on his stomach now. I am just trying to keep my month shut and mind still. We have cut all other SIDS risks.
I want to do service learning for extra credit for my A&P class... I'm a nursing student and shoouuulllddd probably pick something in a hospital but I am two seconds from clicking on an animal shelter.

I haven't had a migraine since I got pregnant! So I'm thinking it may have been linked to my birth control. Imitrex works well for me, but you have to take it right when you notice it coming on. I normally had to take 2 doses and it normally would make me feel a little buzzed. I feel for you. I can't imagine a migraine with a newborn.
Misspelled names annoy me, I'll admit. 'Jaxon' being our example, it just looks so much like someone trying to be cool vs just using the actual 'Jackson', which is a cool name in its own right, so why mess with the spelling? Your kid is still unique.
Misspelled names annoy me much more than made up names. Some made up names aren't bad at all.
I feel a bit hypocritical sometimes tho, considering the fact that my LO has an 'uncommon' name. I saw a thread where the woman had named one of her sons the root name of my son's name, and winced a little, afraid at what the name board might say about it. Thankfully, they have the unwritten rule to not criticize names already given (mostly. usually. Not where the parent can see, anyway), but she got some support for the name she was considering once posters knew it would be paired with the other name in question. So it was a kind of roundabout approval of LOs name, lol
@mindaa - thank you. I try to support the 'different' names, but some are just not good. That one was just not good. And while I used to think it was cool to name a girl a boys name, once I realized I had a 50/50 chance of having a son, I also realized that if I wanted to use an uncommon name (like I did), I would run the risk of that name being known by others because a girl had used it already, and people would think that I named my boy a girls name. Then I realized I was annoyed by this.
(so, i have been waiting ALL DAY to be able to be able to post this due to bump technical issues.)
i can't read a lot of posts due to my eye healing... I've been trying to meditate during my MOTN pump but I think the baby craziness has ruined my concentration
The November boards are full of snark for those looking for some mild entertainment. It no anal darkening or crazy cat lady threads, but some funny reads. Search for the threads that have been closed by the admins.
Heh. We had toyed with Elyse. DH was like, "it's spelled Elise dude".
Re male/female names, it also didn't occur to me that Evelyn (our final choice) was formerly a male name!
So used to be Lindsay, Kelly, and something else I can't remember right now.
Ashley and Courtney I believe. I love Evelyn too. I also like Cameron for a girl, so I realize I'm a total hypocrite about this. If I ever have a girl I'll probably name her a boy name.

Brief change of subject!! Last night DH offered to take the MOTN feed (for the first time in 3 months, might I add) and LO sleeps through the night...I am both happy and secretly bitter!
And now back to your regular programming - I love boys names for girls - Ryan is a fav for me...
The name thread where the lady was calling bumpies Nazi's (the one I linked previously) has been closed by admin. That was entertaining while it lasted. @virginiaunicorn11 did great there. I read your posts and then couldn't help myself and said 'oohhhh' out loud and DH was wondering wth I was reading
@lovethatcolosun I put her to bed @ 7 instead of 730 last night and she was fine. Slept til 6 so 11 hours. She's still stirring at 4 recently but goes back to bed. I feed her @ 445 when I work day shift so that's probably why.

Today I'm watching my 6 mo old niece in addition to LO. Props to all you twin mamas and mommies of more than one! I'm going to need a nap later! And these are two super well behaved girls. Haha
Re: Randoms!
Edited to say I got the positive on our anniversary, which would have been neat if I wasn't freaking about the drinks
