How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? There's only one instance when I could have conceived, so there's that. We had just had a conversation about potentially stopping at two kids, so I guess we didn't really mean it.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I took a test at work and called him immediately. I was in shock, but he wasn't surprised at all.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: Assuming all goes well, this will be my second June baby! Also, we were Team Green for 1 and 2, but I kind of want to find out the sex this time.

I'm sandra. I have a 1.5 year old. He is amazing. I love my march 2014 moms from the bump so i am back. This is my 10th pregnancy, hopefully my 2nd baby i get to hold in my arms (yes, I've had 8 miscarriages, before my son ). This baby took 10 months and some fertility treatments. To tell my husband i just tapped him, woke him and showed him the pee test. First betas were 331! I just moved to tampa florida and got out of active duty military to be a sahm. I'm in the reserves.

Hey ladies. This is pregnancy #3 for me. I have a 2 yr old (Aug'13) and I had a loss in May at 17.5 wks. Through that we found out I'm MYTHF homozygous. My EDD is June 15th. Im pretty confident that day will stick since we were trying and I know when I O'd. Praying for a healthy pregnancy this go round. So far everything is looking good. I'm in a group for LO #1 and we are still going strong. Hope we can have the same thing here.
Hey all! My EDD is 6/18, this is #2 for me. I was a part of the Oct '13 board. I got pregnant by the pull and pray method. We were going to start trying in 1 month, so we weren't too far off. DH was incredibly shocked, and it was awesome too see him like that.

Estimated Due Date (EDD): June 1st, but I have long cycles, and I think I ovulated late. So I fully expect that date to get pushed back by a few weeks (my daughter's due date changed from March 26th to April 18th after my first ultrasound).

Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm very nervous to be pregnant again. My last pregnancy was high risk, and I spent 3 months on bed rest. In spite of all that, I'm feeling extremely blessed and excited.

How did your tell your significant other (SO)? When I showed him the positive test for my first pregnancy, he immediately got a nose bleed. So this time I told him I had news that might give him a nose bleed.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: Two of my closest friends have told me they are trying for their second kids. I hope it happens for them soon, if it hasn't already, so we can be pregnant together and have kids very close in age.

How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? 14 months/15 cycles. Had a lap done in July 2015 to remove endo and ovarian cysts. So it only took us two cycles to get pregnant once I was cleaned up.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I took the test in the morning right after getting up. I had a suspicion I was but I couldn't believe it because we had been going to the infertility clinic. I also didn't want to get my hopes up only to be disappointed. "Pregnant" popped up and I ran into the bedroom, got in bed where DH was still sleeping, and said "look" while holding the test in front of his face. He just smiled and said "really?! what? you're pregnant!" He knew I was going to test that morning.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: We are beyond excited (and nervous), especially after 15 months of trying and hoping. We feel so blessed and grateful. I'm in education and DH is in IT.

I have had a pretty rough year with the two MCs and I lost my mother in June, so I am ready for some happiness in my life. Just found out the due date is the anniversary of my mother's death, so I am taking that as a good sign. We are ready for our take home baby.

How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? It will be 2 years in December from my last pregnancy that ends at 24 weeks (April 2014)... So we have been trying and doing ANYTHING we could since then! Finally saw an RE at the end of July of this year, had HSG done and with second round of injectable meds + 1st cycle IUI BOOM it happened!!!! When I say it like that it seems so easy- but this has been the most stressful and frustrating thing I've EVER Been through... But I'm so happy I can't even put it in to word but also proceeding with caution...
How did your tell your significant other? He was at work and I was in such shock I sent him a pic of the test but cut out he part where it says 2 lines pregnant 1 line not. And I just asked how many lines do you see? He was like 2 for sure why? So then I told him!! Then 3 more tests and a digi later... We are smiling from ear to ear and We both are starting to digest the happiness!!

How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Well he was with me when I took the test. I am impatient so I looked at the results 30 seconds in and only saw one line. I said, "Ugh, maybe next month" and put it on the counter. My hubby picked it up two minutes later and asked if he should throw it away. I grabbed it one more time and low and behold - two lines!! He was also with me when I took the other 4 tests LOL.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm super excited I am anxious until we hear the heartbeat. I am super thankful I found this discussion board so I can go through this process with others!!!

How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I left the HPT out for him to see, which he didn't, so I called him up and pointed it out. He turned to me with an enthusiastic grin "really? really?". It was sweet. Although I have 2 LC, this is my 8th pg, so we are cautiously optimistic to start.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: My TTC journey was initially long and traumatic and recently has been short and sweet - even with two LC I am still in recovery. God willing (albeit I am not particularly religious) this pg results in a healthy, live birth I will absolutely be beside myself with wonder and awe.

Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? I have a son who just turned 2 a few weeks ago. I had a MC in May and a chemical in August. I'm excited but very nervous and anxious!
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? We weren't really trying until the MC. We went to the dr around ovulation time in September; the dr told us we needed to go home and have sex. We weren't really ready to schedule things but happened to have sex on the right day. ☺
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Not very special. I walked over to him, test in hand, and told him he must have super sperm. We did NOT think it was happening this month since we did not follow the doctor's advice.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm really paranoid something is going to go wrong. Whenever I go an extended period of time without a symptom, I worry. I never thought I'd be happy to feel nauseous!

How long were you TTC? I had been charting since July and we were TTC in July and August. In late August I got a new job so we were TTA until January, but here we are! We are over the moon. I didn't want to wait anyway.
How did you tell your SO? I said something like "well, your swimmers can swim!" And he got teary.

How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? Took out Mirena beginning of July, got my period at the end of August, and got pregnant that cycle. But that almost two month wait for my period was hard.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? He was asleep so I woke him up and said "I think I see aa second line!" He was unimpressed with how light it was. But I'm still testing and its gotton really dark now I really should stop though!
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I go from worried to happy every hour, and I can't wait till my first on appt Nov 3, I will be 9 weeks 5 days. That's 23 days and counting...

How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? 9 cycles (since March). Although, DH had an SA in July and we found out he had really terrible count, motility, AND morphology and we were referred to an RE as a result. DH had two varicoceles that were rather large and so he had surgery to tie them up back in August. At the same time, he was taking Fertiliaid. But, we still fully intended to go through IVF w/ICSI in January since no one thought the surgery would provide a substantial improvement (enough to conceive naturally). I hoped for enough improvement to do IUI, but we fully prepared for IVF. Well, something worked with either the surgery or the vitamins! 3 cycles later, I'm pregnant! It's unbelievable and we are being cautiously optimistic.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Had a feeling and tested earlier (9DPO) than I normally would (12DPO) and got a squinter on a Wondfo. DH was still sleeping and saw the line but didn't believe it so I took a FRER and got a faint but clear second line. This morning I took 5 more different brands of tests and a digital - all positive! He believes it now!
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I don't care for my job but I love my coworkers and I plan to be a SAHM after the baby comes! I love to cook, bake cupcakes, bird watch, and binge Netflix. We have an energetic 2 yr old goldie who is the sweetest and a 9 yr old calico that hates everything except me. The goldie looooves her.
I'm so excited to be here but really anxious to get through the first 12 weeks! But just trying to relax and let it sink in.

I just ran downstairs and blurted it out to DH. I had planned to tell him in some super cute wau but me being me I couldn't hold it in for even an hour.

How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Left the test next to the sink so when he washed his hands he saw it lol

How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? Since May 2015. We figured it would take a bit of time as it did with our first and hope to get pregnant around her first birthday! Success!
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I drove to his work and met him at lunch time. When he came to the car to meet me I showed him a picture of the test!
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I am real excited to be a part of this group. I have some incredibly close friends from the N14 board and hope to connect with you all as well! I am a 34 year old working mom, live in Florida and love to bake and craft things (though I am not awesome at crafting all the time).

Technically 3 month, had a cp last month and was not suppose to get pregnant this month... but we didn't prevent and low and behold here I am. Just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Are you a first time mom? No, I have a two year old son.
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? We just started trying in September.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? When I showed him the positive test for my first pregnancy, he immediately got a nose bleed. So this time I told him I had news that might give him a nose bleed.

Two of my closest friends have told me they are trying for their second kids. I hope it happens for them soon, if it hasn't already, so we can be pregnant together and have kids very close in age.

Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Yes, but this is my third pregnancy. I had MMCs in Feb/March and June so I am fairly nervous.
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? We have been not try but not preventing since Feb/March.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Nothing special, he knew I had missed AF so I told him after I took the test.
I have had a pretty rough year with the two MCs and I lost my mother in June, so I am ready for some happiness in my life. Just found out the due date is the anniversary of my mother's death, so I am taking that as a good sign. We are ready for our take home baby.

How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? It will be 2 years in December from my last pregnancy that ends at 24 weeks (April 2014)... So we have been trying and doing ANYTHING we could since then! Finally saw an RE at the end of July of this year, had HSG done and with second round of injectable meds + 1st cycle IUI BOOM it happened!!!! When I say it like that it seems so easy- but this has been the most stressful and frustrating thing I've EVER Been through... But I'm so happy I can't even put it in to word but also proceeding with caution...
How did your tell your significant other? He was at work and I was in such shock I sent him a pic of the test but cut out he part where it says 2 lines pregnant 1 line not. And I just asked how many lines do you see? He was like 2 for sure why? So then I told him!! Then 3 more tests and a digi later... We are smiling from ear to ear and We both are starting to digest the happiness!!
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself? I love baseball! (GO YANKEES) and I'm just so happy to be here and can wait to learn and be a helpful insight for someone else!

How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I gave my husband a wrapped gift with a white baby outfit, gray beat you and a book with a note in it. I've had it wrapped in my closet for months so I would be ready.

How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Well he was with me when I took the test. I am impatient so I looked at the results 30 seconds in and only saw one line. I said, "Ugh, maybe next month" and put it on the counter. My hubby picked it up two minutes later and asked if he should throw it away. I grabbed it one more time and low and behold - two lines!! He was also with me when I took the other 4 tests LOL.

Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? I have a son who just turned 2 a few weeks ago. I had a MC in May and a chemical in August. I'm excited but very nervous and anxious!
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? We weren't really trying until the MC. We went to the dr around ovulation time in September; the dr told us we needed to go home and have sex. We weren't really ready to schedule things but happened to have sex on the right day. ☺
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Not very special. I walked over to him, test in hand, and told him he must have super sperm. We did NOT think it was happening this month since we did not follow the doctor's advice.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm really paranoid something is going to go wrong. Whenever I go an extended period of time without a symptom, I worry. I never thought I'd be happy to feel nauseous!

Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? This is my number 2 and DH'S first. DS is 6 and will be 7 when LO is born.
How long were you TTC? I had been charting since July and we were TTC in July and August. In late August I got a new job so we were TTA until January, but here we are! We are over the moon.
How did you tell your SO? I said something like "well, your swimmers can swim!" And he got teary.
Other stuff: I'm a lawyer. DH and I got married in December 2013, and in addition to DS, we have two fur babies, a German Shepherd and a Maltese poodle. I've been a TTGP lurker ,and I'm so happy to see so many of the TTGP girls here.

Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm super socially anxious and awkward so it may take me some time to really get posting and active. I was super active on my last BMB and those of us who split off are still super close.

How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? Took out Mirena beginning of July, got my period at the end of August, and got pregnant that cycle. But that almost two month wait for my period was hard.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? He was asleep so I woke him up and said "I think I see aa second line!" He was unimpressed with how light it was. But I'm still testing and its gotton really dark now
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I go from worried to happy every hour, and I can't wait till my first on appt Nov 3, I will be 9 weeks 5 days. That's 23 days and counting...

How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? We actually weren't trying, but also weren't being safe. DH and I figured if it happens, it happens. We just got married Sept. 12, and came home with a honeymoon baby.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I wrote him a nice card and got him a couple baby items, wrapped them up and gave them to him. He looked puzzled so I showed him the three tests
