Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Nope, this baby will make #3. I have a 5 yr old girl and 2 yr old boy.
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? We had just started trying in Sept and it happened the first month!!
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? My DH and I have always celebrated our other pregnancies with Chinese food lol. My mom happened to have the kids recently and so I told him I wanted to go out for lunch. When we were in the car he asked where i wanted to go to eat. I said Chinese food and showed him the test!
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm 32 and a stay at home mom. I am so excited to be pregnant again, but I am such a worry wort!!! I just hope everything goes ok.
EDD: June 5! This is my first pregnancy, I'm so excited! We tried for nine months before getting a positive, but we're thrilled with the timing because we're both teachers and love that we'll just miss the last few weeks of school. As for telling my hubby, he LOVES Reese's peanut butter cups, so I got a big cup, a regular one, and a mini; stuck the mini inside the regular one, and left then on his desk with a note that said "Our family in Reese's: a tableau." He was so excited! I'm also Mommy to two kitties and a thirteen year old horse that I've raised from birth. Happy thoughts to all the other June mommies!
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Nope, this will be #2. DD will be 4 in December
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? 4 months
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I POAS and he checked it and gave me the news.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm swinging between excitement and nervousness. It's still surreal at this point. I'm also worried about SPD since I had issues with that last time. ::cringe::
Oh, and I like hockey! looking forward to getting to know you all and happy to see so many familiar TTGP names!

June 2016 April Siggy Challenge: Reasons my kid is crying
I think I'll be due middle June, didn't track my cycle too well and we are guessing on when I Od.
This is our first! Excited and freaked out.
We were trying for 1.5 years! I'd tracked every cycle and this one I got lazy with it. Maybe that's what did the trick
I was nauseous for a week but wasnt sure if it was a bug. I had DH pick up a digital test, I peed on it and had him check the result. He came out of the bathroom with the biggest grin on his face. Then we sat on the couch for 30 minutes both complaining about wanting to throw up! Haha. I think the initial shock passed and we are excited.
We have a DD so this will be number 2.She will be turning 2 in March. She is going to make an excellent big sister by the way she looks after her dolls.
My other half looked at the pregnancy test results before me so no need to share the news. We suffered a miscarriage about 3 months ago so have a feeling this is going to be a very anxious pregnany.
We love on New Zealand. I am a teacher and really looking forward to some warmer weather now.
Hello June Moms! I am so excited and nervous for this journey. Our EDD: June 14 We were TTC casually over the past year and got serous this summer. Our first BFP was August 2nd, but sadly ended that same week.
We are hopeful that this will be the one!
I look forward to learning from and sharing with all of you lovely ladies!!
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Ha ha ha. Nope. This is number 6 for hubs and me.
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? 1 month. Just call me "Fertile Myrtle".
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I told him I needed to show him something in the bathroom. I had the test on the counter displaying two lines and just pointed to it and said, "That!"
Estimated Due Date (EDD): June 23 (have to confirm at Dr's apt)
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Yes first time!
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? 2 months
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Haven't yet! He left on a business trip to Germany yesterday and I had to bite my tongue all day. I will be joining him at the end of the month and thought it would be more special to tell him during our romantic vacation. Although still fuzzy on the exact details haha.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm 30, DH is 34. We have been putting off TTC for a couple of years and finally decided there will never be "the right time". So we took the plunge. I live in the east coast, I have 4 fur babies - 2 cats and 2 dogs. I like to see myself as a movie buff, and I read a lot - at least that's my goal - and I love to cook and bake. This pregnancy will be very emotional for me because my mom passed away in 2013 at the age of 56 and I regret she died without knowing any grand babies, and my kids will never know their grandma. Also, this will be a high risk pregnancy for me because I have epilepsy so inherently they consider it due to the risk of potential seizures.
Hi girls! So excited to get to know you all better.
Estimated Due Date (EDD): June 17th
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? First timer!
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? 2 months. So blessed!
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I tested at 5:45 in the morning and he comes home from work at that time. We were both super groggy but I showed him and we were both super excited (as much as you can be that early in the morning, lol)
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm an elementary school teacher and am excited that the timing worked out the way it did! We have a crazy cat, The Great Catsby, who has been our baby for the past three years. So excited to add to our little family.
Hi, everyone! I'm Hannah and I'm about 6 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy and we were trying to conceive for about 2 months before getting a positive test. I'm so glad to have all of you ladies to talk to about what's going on with our pregnancies and the crazy things that are happening to our bodies!! Haha! It's very reassuring to read about what everyone else is going through, and makes me feel like I have somewhere to turn during this time before DH and I are comfortable telling people we're expecting. Thanks, everyone and I look forward to being on this journey with you!
Hello expecting moms.. New to this and still trying to figure this site out lol
Estimated Due Date (EDD): *June 16, 2016 according to my LMP Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? *Yes !! How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? *2 months. I think the first month was a timing issue with ovulation and baby making obviously the second month worked! How did your tell your significant other (SO)? *I always thought of cute ways I would do it however I was shocked of the BFP that I called my husband home from the gym to show him the result in the bathroom before I left for work in the morning. Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: *I'm 28 and will be 29 when I actually deliver. My husband is 32. We have been married for a little over 4 years. I am a nurse anesthetist. Which makes me worry that I will be exposed to things that could be harmful so I had to tell a few people at work so I'm not placed in OR cases that might affect me being that I'm really early in my pregnancy. I plan on waiting to tell family and friends until the end of the 1st trimester. My first OB appt isn't until the second week of November which I estimate I will be around 8 or 9 weeks by that time. We will probably go crazy with anticipation until then... Our little bundle has 2 fur siblings in the form of a male Great Dane and a female Boston terrier. Hoping they will love him or her as much as we already do! Looking forward to hearing and sharing stories with you ladies for the next 9 months !!
Estimated Due Date (EDD): June 20, by ovulation date
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? This will be #3
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? At least 15 months, but I stopped keeping track because it was too disheartening. I'm still in a bit of shock after my BFP this morning.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I went back to bed, and said "There were two lines." I tried to be quiet when getting up to temp and test this morning, but he must have been awake.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: Both of my sons are redheads, so I'm hoping for a ginger girl this time!
Estimated Due Date (EDD): June 20, by ovulation date

Alas, my husband has many good qualities, but with southern & eastern European ancestry it's very unlikely he carries the red hair gene, so my trademark flame will probably not be passed on. I'll just have to live vicariously through you! Congrats and best wishes!

Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? First timer!!
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? 1 month
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I really thought i wasnt pregnant, i had been on the pill for 15 years, thought it would take months to get a BFP. Got up and tested Sat morning, only because we were going to a concert and i was going to drink, and to my surprise i got 2 lines! I was in shock. Going back to sleep was out of the question, so ! was baking DH muffins and he asked what was going on. We live with my mother in law, trying to save for a down payment, and i wanted to wait until she left. Hes nosy, so went and looked in the top drawer and found the test. Once his mom left, we talked about it. Spent the weekend in shock, but are both so excited!
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: Im 31, DH 28, got married 8/1/15, were going to wait TTC until i was done with school, about 2 years, but had a pregnancy scare and both decided that school would always be there, so we went for it!
Hi Ladies!
Estimated Due Date (EDD): 16 June
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Yes, but this is my third pregnancy. I had MMCs in Feb/March and June so I am fairly nervous.
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? We have been not try but not preventing since Feb/March.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Nothing special, he knew I had missed AF so I told him after I took the test.
I have had a pretty rough year with the two MCs and I lost my mother in June, so I am ready for some happiness in my life. Just found out the due date is the anniversary of my mother's death, so I am taking that as a good sign. We are ready for our take home baby.
I'm so sorry you lost your mom this year. How special the new LO is due on that hard day.
How
long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? 6 months. I have PCOS and it took 12 months to conceive my daughter (with Clomid/trigger). This time, I had the Clomid prescription ready for the following month, but decided to give it one last go without meds. I can't believe it worked!
How
did your tell your significant other (SO)? Got a positive test 9 days ago, but we were in a hotel room (about to go to a wedding) so I didn't have the resources to do anything creative. I also couldn't keep it a secret, so I woke him up and told him within 30 seconds!
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Yes, first time mama.
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? Just under two months.....
How did your tell your significant other (SO)?
My husband kept saying I think you are pregnant. So,I took a test just to prove him wrong. I just knew it would take a while to conceive. I took the test and saw a very faint line. We ran to the store in the pouring rain and got two more test. We had a bet that if he was right I owed him 20 military style push ups for 7 days in a row ( he is a personal trainer) and if he wasn't then he was on dish duty for a whole week. Well I took the test and it came up positive. I went down stairs and after falling down the last two( I was excited and nervous) I said I told you I wasn't pregnant and I saw the disappointment on his face but I handed him the test. He laughed and then I laughed then I cried. I still ain't doing no push ups!!( playing my pregnancy card early)
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I hope everyone has a happy and healthy pregnancy with a perfect bundle of joy at then end of this journey.
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? First time!
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? Five cycles, five months
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I didn't have anything special planned. DH was sleeping so I pet his head until he woke up and told him. We had a squinter of a line the morning before so he had an idea this was happening.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm 29, DH is 30. We live in Canada and have two furbabies, a cat and a dog. I mostly hang out in a private bump group but I thought I'd introduce myself here too.
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? First time, hoping to be one and done!
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? We got pregnant literally the first time we tried. (Makes me thankful that my birth control worked so well all of those years I wasn't looking to conceive!)
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Nothing fancy, showed him the VERY faint pink line when he came home from work.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: 34, marathon runner-- the body changes and slowing down for two years is really hard, but I know it will be worth it.
SO: the day before I had tested and it was neg, so I told him it was a bust this month. This weekend was Thanksgiving (Canada) and so I decided to retest before heading out to the family gatherings, because I had had such a "good feeling" about this month. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a BFP, returned to bed and said "remember what I told you yesterday, I was wrong". It took him a couple of minutes to remember and figure it out.
PgAL (MC@7w 29/10/11 - lost you before we knew we had you)
I am cautiously optimistic after getting a faint but real line on a FRER in under a minute in this morning.
Estimated Due Date (EDD): June 24 (based on O date)
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Yup, first time
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? We got insanely lucky, I stopped BCPs after 4 years on September 16th, we started TTC and here we are.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I haven't told him yet! I plan to leave the test on the bathroom counter for when he gets home to see what he says.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I love doing craftsy things like making quilts, crocheting, knitting etc. It is taking all of my willpower to not go to the store and buy all the yarn and fabric right now.
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? This is my 2nd, I have a beautiful 2 yr old girl (july, 2013)
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? This pregnancy was a happy surprise
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I took a pregnancy test last sunday due to severe nausea and I realized I should have had my period by now, it came up positive so I screamed at him to come in the bathroom while still sitting on the toilet lol.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: My husband and I are both 25, we just bought a house, have a mischievous ans beautiful two year old girl, and a hyper 7 month old german shepherd that I couldn't live without .
I am cautiously optimistic after getting a faint but real line on a FRER in under a minute in this morning.
Estimated Due Date (EDD): June 24 (based on O date)
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Yup, first time

Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? First timer...so excited and so nervous at the same time
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? 8 months...I travel a lot for work (usually gone for 2 weeks at a time, and hubby is military with duty days every 6 days). We had a serious timing issue...
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I took a pregnancy test because I was a few hours late... Yes, my period is like clockwork, and when it did not come by 5 PM, I needed to ease my mind. I received a BFP on a cheap test in less than 30 seconds but convinced myself that the test was wrong due to shower steam (impossible, I know). After 5 more tests over 2 and a half days, I went out and bought my hubby a shirt that said, "Three things my daddy loves...turkey, football, and me." I put it in an amazon box that was addressed to me along with all of my positive tests. I told him that I received one of his Amazon orders accidentally. He was confused. I gave him the box and secretly recorded his shock and joy.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I also have a sweet fur baby named Dudley who may be aware of the change that is coming because he has been clingy and mischievous lately...
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? This isn't my first time being pregnant, but it will be my first time being a mom! This will be a rainbow baby after a loss in April.
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? The pregnancy in April was a surprise, it spurred something inside me that meant I needed to get on the baby train right away. We have been trying realistically since June.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I tested really early because my boobs were aching like crazy. It was about 4 days before my period was due. The test was really faint, but definitely positive. I just walked into the bedroom with it and showed him, and proceeded to say over and over, "It means nothing, it could be a chemical pregnancy, don't get excited." It was a bit anticlimactic.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm 29, this pregnancy is apparently healthy so far. I'm incredibly excited to get past my first trimester and try to get a little peace of mind that this pregnancy won't end in miscarriage like the first.
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Yes! First time and so excited.
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? We actively tried for 3 months.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Found out because I thought I had a UTI So went to Minute Clinic to get antibiotics. Found out that I did have a UTI and I was pregnant. Told my husband that I was on a certain kind of antibiotic (he's a pharmacist) and he figured it out because it's pregnancy safe.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm a mess of emotions and trying to keep it in check: excited, anxious, terrified, nervous, etc.
Estimated Due Date (EDD): June 9, however I will be having a RCS so I will probably end up with a late May baby.
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number?: This is my second pregnancy. My daughter, Dorothy, will be two in a few weeks.
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)?: Well, we weren't exactly trying... but we weren't preventing either. My husband I spent a long weekend in Georgia a few weeks ago, and one thing lead to another...
How did your tell your significant other (SO)?: We were sitting outside watching the #SuperBloodMoon together, and I simply said, "I have something to tell you." He said, "We're having a baby." Way to ruin my surprise, honey.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I too told myself I would never get back on these message boards after my last pregnancy (I used WTE), but here I am. Too many crazies! I hope The Bump can be a good resource if I need it, and that I can help out new moms with my previous experience!
Due date: June 5th, first time mom and so excited! TTC: Less then a month *I told my husband on the phone while he was away for work. I couldn't wait to tell him!
EDD - June 18, PPT yesterday (4 more today to be sure!)
I am a first time mom and couldn't be more excited/nervous/scared/happy all at the same time!
We actually got pregnant on the first month of trying! We have been off BC since May, but we're waiting until I could actually track my cycles! Can't tell you how shocked I was that it worked the first time, of course my hubby said he knew all along because he is a "stud"
I told my hubby by turning on the lights at 7am and repeatedly saying "oh my gosh, oh my gosh". That is the only time I could get away with waking him up like that!
Being a first time mom, I feel like I am already overanalyzing every feeling/symptom/pain I have, but I'm also trying to relax and just enjoy every minute of it! Just praying we give birth to a healthy, pudgy, adorable baby we can love all over!
So glad to be a part of this group and sharing with y'all over the next many, many months!
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Yes, I'll be a first time mommy! ♡
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? Had my IUD taken out on June 3rd, and we were not "trying" but letting it happen (haha, yea right, I was trying but trying to play it cool!)
How did you tell your significant other (SO)? He knew I was going to take the test Sunday morning. I went to him when he was waking up, I sat on the bed next to him. I reminded him I took my test, and told him through a few tears it was positive. He was happy!
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm nervous but so excited! I hope we have a sticky bean. I'm so thankful God is blessing us with this. Totally doesn't feel real though... someone pinch me!
EDD: June 6 , but waiting on an ultrasound to confirm
This is baby number 2. My first will be almost 4 when I am due.
We have been trying since May. I had a miscarriage in July so I am trying to remain hopeful and optimistic.
Hubby knew I was taking a test that morning so when he woke up he asked about it. I had left it on the bathroom counter and I told him to go have a look.
I'm a former high school math teacher turned SAHM. I love movies. And we have two fur babies.
Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Second time!!
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? About 2 months
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? He was in the other room... I only had a very very faint line, so I called him in to confirm if there was even a line or not. We decided it was, but tested again the next day to make sure.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: My DD is about 18 months, and she is going through her terrible two's early :S We didn't know if it was the right time, but then realized there would never be a perfect time to try again. I'm so excited to be pregnant again. I loved my first pregnancy and hope this one is about the same.
This will be my second! I have a 7 month old daughter!
We weren't trying to conceive, baby was a surprise!
Told significant other with a freaked out phone call!
I am happy to be having another little one, but wasn't quite ready to be pregnant again so soon. I also suffered from severe morning sickness with my last pregnancy so I am nervous to be getting sick again.
This is my second child. My first will be six in January
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)?
My husband and I got married October 2014, we started trying the month before (September), tried for one whole year. We were just about to do an IUI in September but I had to have another procedure done five days after IUI would be done so the Dr. advised me to wait until October. Low and behold, we got our BFP!
How did your tell your significant other (SO)?
Months prior I had purchased this item on Etsy saying, "We are adding another nut to our tree" and had a little acorn. I told him it was an early birthday present!
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself:
I do go for my first ultrasound on the 22nd of this month, hoping for all good news as I did have a scare the day I found out I was pregnant. Severe left side pain, which is what made me get a test, spend three hours in urgent care all alone because I did not want to deliver what might be good news to my husband like that! I have had three rounds of blood drawing done with good HCG levels!
Re: June 2016 Moms Intro Thread - Welcome!
As for telling my hubby, he LOVES Reese's peanut butter cups, so I got a big cup, a regular one, and a mini; stuck the mini inside the regular one, and left then on his desk with a note that said "Our family in Reese's: a tableau." He was so excited!

What number: 3
TTC: 4 months
SO: the day before I had tested and it was neg, so I told him it was a bust this month. This weekend was Thanksgiving (Canada) and so I decided to retest before heading out to the family gatherings, because I had had such a "good feeling" about this month. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a BFP, returned to bed and said "remember what I told you yesterday, I was wrong". It took him a couple of minutes to remember and figure it out.
Husband already knows I just showed him the test lol
I'm 5 wks this is our first baby!!!
It is taking all of my willpower to not go to the store and buy all the yarn and fabric right now.
possible June 5th

Anything else you want to tell us about yourself:
I also have a sweet fur baby named Dudley who may be aware of the change that is coming because he has been clingy and mischievous lately...
Found out because I thought I had a UTI
So went to Minute Clinic to get antibiotics. Found out that I did have a UTI and I was pregnant. Told my husband that I was on a certain kind of antibiotic (he's a pharmacist) and he figured it out because it's pregnancy safe.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself:
I'm a mess of emotions and trying to keep it in check: excited, anxious, terrified, nervous, etc.
1st time mom!
TTC: years, IUIs, and finally IVF for a BFP!
SO: DH and I found out together via call from the dr with our Beta result
Anything else: apologies! Saw this after I posted my intro!
TTC: Less then a month
*I told my husband on the phone while he was away for work. I couldn't wait to tell him!
