Are you a first time mom? If not, what number? Baby #2! You can say I am a first time mom because my son who is deaf, is 19 years old, so I am starting completely over. I know crazy, huh!
How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? DH and I have been trying to conceive for about 2 years.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? We had to go through IVF. I went in for my pregnancy test and asked the doctor to call us around 1:00 p.m. I picked my husband up from work and the doctor called right on time. At first she played with us and talked to us. We immediately thought it didn't work. Our joking doctor finally announced Congratulations, we are pregnant! I was so happy and thankful after 2 years of IVF.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: We started this journey 2 years ago with IVF. We did IVF 3 times before this last time took. We got pregnant before this in April, but some kind of way the embryo attached in the wrong place and stop growing at 5 weeks. I am extremely nervous about this one and every little symptom or lack there of gives me anxiety. DH works and I stay home with my 19 year old who is deaf until he goes off to school. I've also just started my own business as a Travel Agent and love it.

How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Immediately. I took the test early in the AM at the end of October. I woke him up to tell him the good news.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm 29, a military spouse ( hubby is in the USAF), and I work FT. I'm most nervous about going back to work after baby because of my crazy commute and the fact we have no family living nearby.

How did your tell your significant other (SO)? Lol over text message i sent him a picture of the pee stick because I wasn't sure if there was a line. He said yes but barely so I went to get the tests that say "pregnant" and sure enough It was positive
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I also have two fur babies a Boxer/pointer mix and German Shepherd that I love to pieces!

Annoys the heck out of me though listening to my husband's grandma keep talking about how "don't I want a girl? you'll love your girls more" (yes she ACTUALLY said that), etc...ugh. I just want a healthy baby! Pretty sure my two little men are awesome, I'd happily take another! Whatever God gives us, boy or girl, I'm happy!
Hi there new to the bump. My names Lauren and I'm 22 years old. EDD: is June 24th I am a ftm this is my first pregnancy. My husband and I decided to try having a baby in the beginning of October so first times a charm for us. I really wanted to surprise him in a cute way but it didn't exactly end up that way. I was in pure shock and just kind of threw the pregnancy test at him when he walked in the door lol.
I'e posted a couple threads and stuff, but didn't know this post existed. So I guess I'll formally introduce myself now.

How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? Almost 3 years....started at a fertility clinic in April of this year and after months of various methods we were able to conceive with our first round of IVF.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? He was in the bathroom with me to take the the test. I swore I wasn't pregnant and just wanted to take a test to just get it over with so I knew that I wasn't before my official blood test to prepare myself for the dreaded "I'm sorry but you're not pregnant this time" phone call. When the digital test said pregnant we were both floored.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I'm having a hard time still believing that I'm pregnant and have been waiting for the other shoe to drop since I'm so used to bad things. I'm so excited, but I wish I was more connected with this baby/pregnancy. I hope once I have a belly and further along it will become more real and I can connect and be happy.

We weren't really TTC, but we were at that in-between stage in which we weren't trying NOT to.
I took a pic of the test and set it as the backdrop to DH's phone. It took him a minute to figure it out
Random stuff about me:I have a terrible cheap glitchy phone, so if I mess up something, that is usually why.
My oldest is only 3 which is one reason it has taken me so long to post on here. Those kids keep me busy!
I had all 3 boys at home and hope to have Baby 4 there too!
I have so enjoyed reading other people's posts and intros and hope to be more involved in this community after Christmas
Hello! My due date is June 29th. This will be baby #3 for us. We were trying to conceive for about a month with this baby. So thrilled to have another one! I told DH by walking out with two pregnancy tests that he purchased on his way home from work and asked "are you ready to do this again?" Nothing special, but we were both excited and happy!
TTC? not so much! we got pregnant the night of our engagement! (The whole "your birth control does not work while taking flagyl" thing hold true)
How did i tell my SO? I took a picture of the test and said "Uhhhh...i dont think you should go to your steak cook off tonight" he rushed home. lots of tears, but now we're excited to start this new journey!
About me? I'm an Operating Room RN in the sunshine state! My husband and I got married two weeks ago. I know nothing about babies/pregnancy besides what I remember from nursing school. We both love to play music and we have two wonderful dogs Grace and Charlie.

How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I asked him to go out to dinner instead of cooking. Before we went into the restaurant, while still in the car, I said to him, "Oh wait I have something to give you." & took my positive test out of my purse! He was very excited and we shared some tears together before heading into the restaurant to discuss how we were going to tell our parents.
Anything else you want to tell us about yourself: I am a Mental Health Counselor from Boston, MA. I love martinis (while not pregnant) and green olives (while pregnant)... So excited to be joining the Bump community

How long were you trying to conceive (TTC)? It took one cycle after stopping my birth control, a little quicker than we were expecting.
How did your tell your significant other (SO)? I made a little card that said "And the winner is..." on the outside and then taped the test inside with a drawing of little "tadpoles" (what I told my girls lol) crossing a finish line. I never did anything like that with the other two so it was fun.
