I finally feel like I'm making progress on the nursery. All that's left is the gallery wall above the dresser and some pictures on some of the smaller walls. Plus, we won't move the glider we have out of DD#1's room and into this room until this one starts sleeping in her crib. Hooray for progress!
This is actually our two year old's new big boy room, but I am really proud of our DIY projects. It's obviously a boat theme We made the rope mirror and porthole picture frames, but I am most impressed with my husband's buoy reading lights that hang over the bed. Now to get him moved in to his big boy bed so that we can get baby boy's room ready. I think we are going to do it this coming Friday. Wish us luck, he sleeps amazing in his crib during bed and nap time. I am dreading the transition!
@makeoutside they are spice racks from ikea! 5.99 each or something insanely cheap. They come in unfinished wood so can be painted any color!
I am so glad you posted this! I have been looking for book shelves like this, but the actual book shelves are pretty pricey. I just ordered 4 of these spice racks for $3.99 each!! They are decent size too!! Thanks!!
Almost finished nursery:) just waiting on DH to finish putting legs on our refinished dresser/change table.
Decided to do Beatrix Potter/Peter Rabbit for our gender neutral nursery.
Can't wait for baby to arrive now!
I love seeing all of these super cute nurseries! Ours is coming together. Still alot to get to make it complete but am trying to wait till our shower to see what we all need. Baby boy will hopefully like his owl themed room.
Hey CarliB where did you get the chair for your nursery? I'm looking for the same oneand in that color!!
No real "theme" but our color scheme is gold and shades of pink/coral. We get the crib on Friday, but the bedding set from Caden Lane won't arrive until mid-September. I love the fabric swatches, though! We also ordered a gold faux-leather pouf ottoman from Land of Nod, which we should get some time next month. Those tissue paper pom poms next to the glider will be hung from the ceiling above the glider once they're all finished.
Where did you get the quilt? I looked at the Caden Lane website and couldn't find that one you have. Love those colors!!
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you! The quilt is from Land of Nod.
Due Nov 17 but realistically expecting her to be here by end of October. First girl with 2 VERY excited big brothers. Brothers both born in August, their birth month flower is poppy. Wanted a little piece of them to always be with her, so we went with poppies! Boys made finger print poppies in the frames on the wall. Mobile and bedding are custom made via Etsy. I have hand made all her bows and headbands. Made her a ruler growth chart myself. Still looking for a floor covering but couldnt be more ready! We even have a stockpile of diapers all the way through size 2. The nursery reminds me a bit of the poppy scene from Wizard of Oz. I love it. ♡
So excited to have the nursery finally done! We'll for the most part. I am sure I will make changes to keep myself busy before the LO gets here. 4 more weeks!
@dapoint23 we actually got it used from a friend. I believe they got the set originally from babies r us. We just refinished the changing table with "coral reef" paint by Sherwin Williams and I found the knobs at T.J Maxx to give it a chic look.
We're Team Green so we tried to make it as gender neutral as possible with mint, yellow, and gray. We did a slight take on the "Wizard of Oz" with the hot air balloon mobile, painting above the crib and the lion, tiger, and bear prints.
Here is our nursery finally almost done just Need the front crib rail cover which is a rose pattern with bows. The theme is buttons and bows shabby chic and everything is handmade by myself and my family and friends very Pinterest inspired. Can't wait for Penelope to arrive
Still have a few finishing touches and on 30 days to go!!! My husbands job is to refinish a dresser I love. We decided black and white mixing patterns.
Re: Post Those Nursery Photos!
Hooray for progress!
