So, maybe I misunderstand people sometimes, but it seems like some women only have sex with their SO to conceive. I've heard things like, "last month we only had sex on the day I ovulated so I know that's when we conceived!"
This is so weird to me. Sex is fun. We do it all the time. I have no idea when we conceived, because it could have been any of, oh, I dunno, all the days?
And I imagine that sex is completely awkward. "Hey honey I'm just going to lay here and read a baby book while you deposit your sperm in me".
I get if someone can't for medical reasons, but otherwise people should be getting naked and having fun!
This whole post just belies your inexperience and naïveté. There are so many reasons that people might only have sex during their fertile ranging from low libido, to medical issues, to busy schedules with young children and working full time, to infertility. Grow up and get a clue.
I don't mind people having different opinions but, when someone references how might or would feel (a guarantee) I take that as more than a difference in opinion but that's ok too. suppose we are all just tad bit hormonal... myself included.
I'll feel better in a few minutes I hope... then back to hormonal agaib a few mins after lol. Sorry for any offense given

Don't blame it on hormones. Thats ridiculous.
You're fairly new to TB in general, there's a tone to this board that's not for everyone, and there's a 3 day waiting period where you're encouraged to lurk. Don't be so sensitive because people didn't agree with you. Relax.

Pretty sure I mentioned medical reasons. I'm fine with people disagreeing with me, but saying "grow up and get a clue" is just a personal attack. No need for that.
@yogahh I am glad that I was not the only person that reported her. It is one thing to disagree, but profanity and degrading other people will not be tolerated.
Boobies, vaccinations, and girl-on-girl passive-aggressiveness aside;
I really really really don't like unsolicited belly rubs from people who know about LO this early in pregnancy. I know it's a nice gesture/ thought but really. My baby is the size of a pea and behind my pelvic bone. Your hand is on my small intestine. Not the baby.

Yes, you listed one of the FOUR that came to me off the top of my head and I'm certain there are others. Like working swing shifts. Or work-related travel. Or depression or anxiety. Or or or. Also making a slam about someone "reading a baby book while having sex" IS most definitely a personal attack.
Over the last 15 years my husband and I have weathered 3 years of chronic illness, 5 years of infertility, me owning a small business, two pregnancies, 4 years of breastfeeding, now raising two young children. Our sex life has waxed and waned in cycles over that period, as is to be expected. I honestly can't imagine ANY couple humping like bunnies day in and out through all of that. Biology just doesn't work like that.
There is a saying "The older I get, the less I know". As we age we gain experiences that give us wisdom and understanding and it makes us realize that we don't know nearly as much as we think we do. Your comment deriding people for having sex once a cycle - with zero additional information about their circumstance - fairly clearly illustrates that you are fairly young and lacking in life experiences. Thus the "grow up" comment.
Interesting development bump, someone QFP, the original comment is removed and the quoted comments are also removed. Does that mean if someone QPF's then the OP edits their original comment the QFP will reflect that? or just comments removed for TOU violations? If the former, my UO is that sux!

@krzyriver so true! It's so frustrating, I don't know at what point we all decided to celebrate mediocrity like this! I wish we could go back to the days when famous people were famous for their talent, not for their sex tapes

No, it means the BGs went through and edited everyone who quoted as well. (Sometimes they miss things). I just wanted to QFP in case she edited before they saw it.
I love it! I thought I was the only non-nutella-lover in the world. P.S. 1 Tablespoon of Nutella has more sugar in it than 1 Tablespoon of chocolate frosting. (Not a health food, lol)

All I got from that is now I can eat straight up chocolate frosting
Well I'm obviously in the minority on this. I'm not in love with the Kardashian's but I admire them as business women and celebrate the way they've taken ownership of their image and capitalized on it. Taking an unfortunate event in your life and turning it around to benefit yourself and your family is (in my opinion) a talent. A business/ political/ marketing/ public relations talent.
I hate all the short acronyms used on baby sites and posts. This is our first baby so reading through posts when trying to get pregnant was exhausting. I needed a Rosetta Stone to decipher all the messages.
Oh, I also do not like baby on board signs. Every life is valuable, so we should drive safe no matter what. It also kills me when the sign holder drives crazy. I also think it's stupid to put those sticker families on the back of your car. I don't think it's smart to advertise to the world.

It's for first responders to be aware during an accident. For instance if the child is thrown from the car, then they know to look for a child, etc.
True. But I've also read that it can signal from a distance that there is a passenger that cannot get themselves out of their restraints after an accident as well. I think people have turned it into this "cutesie" kind of thing instead of using it for its original purpose. As a former EMT, I always appreciated the signs.
The family stickers annoy me as well though. I don't need to know that you have 15 cats....lol.
