I just took a nap with LO and woke up more tired than when I fell asleep. A nap used to feel great and now its like my body is like, "3 hours? Not gonna cut it." @-)
Omg we actually got to go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight and I can't sleep!! Wtf is wrong with me?! @-)
Omg this is me too! DS has been sleep since 845 and DD since 930. But I'm still up not even tired and watching First 48 I know once I close my eyes he will wake up X_X
Sooo we got cleared for sex today. DH was well aware I had no interest and wasnt going to try. I told him we could go ahead and try before we went to bed...we will be doing other things to be intimate for a while to say the least. It was god awful, I was totally not into it, it hurt for a while, we had to use so much damn lube. My freaking doctor wanted me to "give it a try" before she gives me the estrogen cream. I want ti throw my shoe at her now, just give me the damn cream lady.
Ugh, I am getting my implat tonight...thank god DH is closing so I don't have to worry about it....for tonight at least.
Before going to bed, DH scratched his nipple and thought that he had the right to complain to me about it.... Yea, I don't want to hear about your scratched nipple. Unless you cut your nipple off, you've got nothing.
Three nights in a row now my lo has pooped out the side of his diaper. This only happens at night and I feel like he poops pretty much every night when he sleeps. I totally just looked at the poop on his pajamas and thought, "That's not too much. Totally not worth it."
My lo just slept 4.5 hours! She's 4 weeks 6 days and hasn't slept that long since about 3 weeks. I wish I could say it was my awesome parenting that coaxed her into a deeper slumber but it was actually the dockatot. Has anyone else used one? Tonight is our first night but so far I'm sold!

I had no idea what a dockatot was, so I googled it... I seriously NEED one of these! I didn't even know it was a thing!

I so wish I would have known about those before LO was here. I want one! I feel like it would be great for travel but I would so use it at night too. LO wakes herself up from moving sometimes and I feel like it will help so much with sleep regression when she cant be swaddled anymore...maybe ill just have to splurge. H has been working Saturdays and going in 2 hours early, maybe we can swing it!!
I definitely just googled DockATot. I've actually been using my pregnancy pillow in a similar way for nap time. I just twist it around and make it into a tight circle and put LO inside. He loves feeling secure and I love that the pregnancy pillow is actually getting put to good use because I hated it when I was pregnant.
It's worth a shot @SashaDenn25 if you have one, before you go out and spend the extra money.
That dockatot looks cool but I can't imagine it's safe if pillows and bumper pads aren't safe or sleeping on the boppy lounger etc.

That was my thought, too. I bet it's great for supervised nap times. I use my pregnancy pillow so LO will nap on the couch while I sit on the couch and fold laundry or get some computer work done. He's one that wants to be held all the time and having the pillow tight tricks him for a little bit. Haha
@jesselayne8@kjandericka I thought the same thing but it's made out of different material. It's in the FAQ section of their website. It complies with the air permeability standards in the UK for infant pillows. Basically babies can breath through the pillow.
@SashaDenn25 lo breaking out of her swaddle was part of the problem. Before she could break free she would sleep great but right around her 3 week growth spurt she started breaking out of the swaddle (and all swaddlers). It was definitely a splurge but so far I'm super happy with it.
LO slept all day yesterday. It was awesome after the super crabby weekend she had. We cuddled and napped together and she was all smiles for her dad when he got home from work. Everyone was happy!
Patrick doesn't sleep through the night, or for big chunks of time yet, but man does he know how to conk out after his first morning feeding! It's always on me and I can never move him without waking him. Sooo, I'm trapped on my bed with no coffee and I have to pee.
Merp, the dockatot is cool but the website says it is meant to be used when you are transitioning from a crib to a bed. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my infant in there.
When your EBF LO wakes up for a feeding exactly one minute after you finish pumping....
YES! I live in fear of this. To the point where I can't sleep after I pump at night because I'm afraid she's going to wake up too soon. I keep a backup bottle in the fridge but she's not great at taking bottles and will really only go right back to sleep if she gets some boob time.

I wait a half hour after my alarm goes off (its my fitbit silent alarm as to not wake LO up) to go pump to make sure he's not going to wake. And that is even knowing he's STTN now.

Yeah, I would be very careful with it. Although this would have been great with my DS when he was 1-2, that boy was all over the place!!
I paid for it last night. @-)
