Dang- I really wish my boss would just let me go home...its 3:20, the teachers/students are all gone, and she is now heading out the door for a meeting and won't be back before I leave. I literally sit here and hope for that one more phone call between now and 4pm. All my work is done. Just before she left she gave me a student schedule to re-do. It took me 3 minutes tops and I had 3 copies printed off and handed back to her. She seemed surprised- like how could I get it done so fast? It is not that hard to do this work people!!! But I don't dare leave because she has this bad habit of waiting till 3:50 and calling me last minute because she needs something done. Ugh...

Call it hormones, call it mommy mode, but I just totally got into an argument with an 8 year old asshole kid to the point his mother had to come out and get after him! He and his sisters were playing in the middle of the street (mind you its already dark out) but when they saw me coming they all moved to the side. As I drove by he yelled at me "hey can't you see us people in the street!?" I squealed to a stop, jumped out and went up and down that little shit. If you don't want to get hit then get on the sidewalk where you belong (or home in bed). He told me no he can do whatever the hell he wants to! His mother came right out after hearing that and let him have it as I got back in the truck and drove home (the next block down lol). Little shits act like they don't have any brains! I don't let my own kid talk to me like that and I sure as hell wouldn't let her talk to others like that either!

I live in a rough area of the city... but after yelling at a couple of kids and teaching a few others they know not to mess with me. Had a 4 year old dragged to my door by his dad to apologise for throwing rocks at my car (he must have confessed out of fear but I went off on him and the older kids but it was mainly because they were egging the little one on and letting him run out onto the busy road to collect the rocks)

I was just lamenting the loss of our ice cream place here - it closed between my 2nd and 3rd babies. MaggieMoos - just like cold stone - they had the best pistachio with no nuts, and this bliss called Udderly Cream OMG. There used to be a cold stone by my parents too, but it's a fro-yo place now. Ugh- didn't get any sleep again last night. 10:30, hubby comes home and tries to wake me up. I punched him. 2:30- wide awake from hubby snoring, so I use the bathroom and move to the couch. 3:30- hungry, so I get 1/2 bagel with peanutbutter. 4- back to bed on the couch. 5- too hot, so I move back to the bed. 5:15- back to the bathroom I go. 5:50- alarm goes off.
I've been to Walmart to grab some food (we were OUT), washed up quick, got dd dressed and breakfast done, and out the door I go- I'm now at work and I've answered 10 phone calls already in the last 20 minutes. I don't get to rest either- I have to set up the conference room for a board meeting before I leave, then run home, shove dinner down my throat, and go to DD's open house. No rest then either- my apartment doesn't have washer dryer hookups, so after open house I have to take at least 1 load (of 2) to the Laundromat. I should sleep WELL tonight!
On the bright side- today is Farmer's market day, so DH is getting me my Whoopee pie (oatmel cream pie cookie) and since I've been dying for a meatball sub, today I am going and getting one for lunch!

yikes, i don't envy your busy day! Tuesdays are my busy days. today is my day-after recoup day. we are having a playdate with some 5yo twins and their 9mo sibling, but they are coming to us, so i don't have to get out (or dressed LOL). thank goodness though, because my night of "sleep" sounds pretty identical to yours - different circumstances, but same amount haha

I have a pet peeve about thread titles. I absolutely despise the titles "help" "advice needed" etc. I don't want to go into every AW thread jsut ot find out they couldn't use the search function.
Already had my ultrasound this morning and my SCH is all but GONE! Thank sweet baby Jesus. Heart beat was 153 and baby is measuring 13w+3 but I am 12w+2. Dr. from the U/S is going to send my Dr. the results so she can make a decision but if I have any input I'd just like to stick with my original EDD at this point. Overall, everything looks good! Yay!
@PinkSunglasses16 I try to hold out as long as possible and not look at those threads, but I always break down and do it anyway. Definitely a AW pet peeve of mine as well.

No point to this except a rant but why the heck can't you use a pottery barn coupon at pottery barn kids? I have a 20% pottery barn but want to order from kids and it won't let me use it.

Wow I have been hella busy this morning! It didn't stop until just now! I am taking a self-inflicted break and catching up here on tb lol. The phone has gone non-stop, and 95% of them I transfer to my boss, who's office is literally in mine, they just put walls up around her desk since it was too heavy to move. It has been cray-cray here!
