Epic lunch fail. I'm home with a sick LO and nothing sounds good to either of us. I tried soup, then hard boiled eggs (which I under cooked...),so I tried to make egg salad, which we both turned our noses up to. So he's eating crackers and chicken sticks, and I'm eating mustard Snyder pretzels...

YES, this. DH is a musician and as soon as I told him that I'm pregnant he suddenly wanted to buy all this expensive music equipment. I was like *taps mic* IS THIS THING ON? Did you not just hear me say that we have another tiny, expensive, time-sucking little human currently gestating inside me? Why buy a bunch of music gear that we really can't afford, right before the baby arrives so you won't have any free time to play it anyway? I was seriously baffled.
This is baby #3 for us, though, so we really don't need any baby stuff. But still, he's not buying a new amp if I have anything to say about it.
But now when you try to direct people to threads already going there's a new poster that likes to come in and let the other newbies know that repetitive threads are fine they happen all the time... Ugh

Right, it's the people (new or not) that encourage poor bump behavior to other new posters that is a little annoying. There is an entire, pinned "Read This First" thread that it seems more and more posters (again, new and seasoned) are not bothering to read or just reading and ignoring.
I'm always sketchy about starting threads because I know there are tons about the same topic. I haven't seen a crafty mama thread...and I plan on making stuff for my Bean. That would be a good one to start.

Yes, I'm guilty of contributing to the resurrection of the dreaded gender thread, I just couldn't help myself. But I wasn't the first one to awaken the beast!
