Mmm I was able to make and eat dinner with little nausea. Sausage and gravy biscuits with sautéed cinnamon apples. It's more a cold weather meal but it was the only thing to sound like I could eat.
Beyond finally being able to sort of eat and feeling 100% exhausted from work, I've got nothing else lol. Although I will have an ultrasound next week - at 14 weeks - so I'm kind of hoping we have a generous tech who will check the baby's business and wager a guess (I had one at 14 weeks last time and the tech was right on the sex).

Ugh I am at the most brutal professional development for work today. Contractually I had to attend. Totally teaching 101 stuff. So sad I am here and missing out on time with my little man.
Rant: I do payroll for our company and it annoys me when employees ask for a paycheck (per diem) ahead of payday and then text my boss and say Kayla's won't pay me and i'm behind on rent (like thats the companies problem that you can't budget). So then boss comes to me and is like whats going on and I'm all "It is not payday, if they quite working and i pay them ahead of schedule we are out the money" How am I the bad guy!?!? It just bugs me that it makes me look like an ice queen, but dammit I'm just doing my job!

March 2016 Moms: January Siggy Challenge "Pregnancy Problems"
Currently asking myself why I scheduled my doc appointment during naptime. Hopefully the anticipation of hearing this kiddo's heartbeat will be enough to keep me awake!
Well, got a phone call from my dr. I have an appointment down in Syracuse the 29th with the perinatal center for high risk pregnancies. I really hope I don't have to go there more than once or twice. The whole reason I'm being referred is because of my preemie baby 11 years ago and my PCOS now. I had an uneventful pregnancy until DD wanted to be born 2 months early. At least my dr is trying everything possible to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Driving that in the winter is going to be HORRIBLE if I have to go on a regular basis!

We're going camping this weekend and I am toooootally dreading it.
We're tenting it, it's supposed to be 90* all weekend, and my husband is going to spend the whole time fishing, leaving me alone to entertain the girls.
I want my girls to have fun camping memories, but I'm so dreading the heat, trying to sleep in a hot tent, and alllllll the prep and packing required. Blech.
We're going with my husband's extended family to a campground just half an hour from our house, so I might have to play the pregnant card and go home to sleep in the AC every night. Haha.

Lol that reminds me. I told my mom that I want to go canoeing soon. Not like white water rafting but just Dh and I out on the water. Mom thought I said camping and that it sounded fun. I told her "heck no, not camping, canoeing. To hot to go camping" she tells me that I can't go canoeing, that it's to dangerous. Geez mom, I'm the best swimmer in the family (not that I'm an awesome swimmer but still the best in our family) and I'm only 10 weeks. Pretty sure a couple hours out lazily paddling down a river isn't going to hurt. She even called my sisters to try getting them to convince me not to go. To bad for her one went canoeing while 34 weeks pregnant and the other hates water so she thinks anyone that would willingly go canoeing is crazy. Got to find a babysitter anyway first, but mom's reaction was funny

Swimming is great when you're pregnant. And seriously relaxed canoeing should be fine.

I am also camping this weekend! We'll see how it goes, though I typically really enjoy it and it should cool off enough at night to be comfortable. I don't have any rugrats to chase after though, just our 3 dogs so I am looking forward to spending some R&R time on the water. Also if it gets unbearable, I will crash in the camper instead of the tent lol.
We will also be telling my fave BIL, SIL and their family (LBH, my fave nieces and nephew as well) our news so I am SUPER excited. Friday can't come fast enough!
