    My FI has twin girls age 3, and a son age 5. So we are hoping for a boy too. Just to even things up, we are hoping for a boy too. But as long as it's healthy we will be more than satified.

    May try the kitten approach though. Lol

    I bought pink glitter on sale at Hobby Lobby last week and danced in it while singing the Spice Girls.

    eta: I was probably a bit too snarky. I toned it down a tad.

    I don't understand it either. A healthy happy by is all any of us want! Be happy and grateful for what you get, boy or girl!

    My DH would prefer a boy for baby #1. He doesn't have a lot of experience with babies/kids and thinks a boy would be easier for him to take care of and relate to than a girl. I don't understand it. Of course, we would both be thrilled to have any healthy baby.

    I'm all for spreading positivity and light but please stop. I find it very offensive for you to come on the TTGP board and respond to posts mentioning the BMB you're in. If you're going to respond, at least don't throw the fact that you're pregnant and I'm not in my face.
    Check her posts, she doesn't participate in any BMB.

    For real? Although we do joke about giving birth to unicorns, we do not promote rainbows, unicorns or any other nonsense. Just like any other person, she has a 50/50 chance of having a boy or a girl. Clearly you did not participate in this board and do not understand the etiquette here. While we are allowed to participate in any board we choose, please don't say things that are offensive to those of us who participate in this board regularly; just like you wouldn't want us coming to your BMB and causing a stir. 

    So all in all, just be respectful. Ok? Thanks.

    It might be just me, but it's not at all in good taste to come posting on a board to pity the non-pregnants. No one has "lost their way" except you. Please respect this board & the feelings of those who are still trying. It's extraordinarily insensitive. [-(
