Apparently I finally got it right! After four, yes FOUR, slices of extra cheese delivery pizza, I feel the least nauseas I have felt in a week! Win! Don't even care about all the calories...
Mac and Cheese, and not boxed mac and cheese. That really good, creamy, cheesy, all around awesome mac and cheese cooked by someone who knows what they're doing.
Last weekend I ordered a cheese pizza from papa Gino's and it was exactly what I needed!
I felt like crap all day today. We decided to make eggplant parm. Surprisingly it made me feel better. I think it's the oily, fried goodness. Greasy food used to help cure my hangovers so there's that.
Almost an ENTIRE bag of buttered popcorn flavoured Crispy Mini rice crisps. I love popcorn but my tummy doesn't right now, so this is the best substitute
Only ice cream sandwiches... And after DH just got done with his spiel about how he's really excited that he's getting fit and trimming up... I feel guilty eating ice cream
ashleymarie1027 - YES!! My DH is continuing with the weight loss journey we started at the beginning of the year. He weights himself every few days and bemoans if he gains an ounce. Needless to say those are extreme side eye mornings as I am trying to keep my ever hungry self satisfied with healthy reasonable snacks. This week hummus and cucumbers seemed to hit the spot the best for me. Last week it was any and all dairy, especially cheese.
Just sent my husband to get vanilla ice cream with brownie and caramel. I've been searching all day for the right food and I think I figure it out! Love that feeling!!

Last night I wanted nothing. Nothing sounded good! Ground beef is making me sick and I just didn't know what I wanted. My hubby made a homemade sandwich --lol. Turkey, mayo, cheese, onions, lettuce and banana peppers and it was exactly what I needed! It was the best thing I've ate in weeks I felt like lol!
Rice and beans plantains Dominican style. Had my friend from two and half hours away bring it with her for the weekend. Only to take a couple bites but it was satisfying. I can't find my byers waffle cone ice cream or Ben and Jerry's American dream. I want I want I want. Not liking this city I'm in right now
Also, someone posted about ramen the other day, and I have been craving it ever since. I want some of THIS:
Damnit! Now I need ramen! And what I really want is the ramen from that crazy place in Hell's Kitchen... Something tells me DH won't approve the 3.5 hour drive (one way) to get a bowl of soup. :-/
In other news, I could eat 6 California Rolls a day and be a happy camper (I really want other sushi, but California rolls are safe and fill the void). Maybe I just need to move to Tokyo for the first tri.
I told DH yesterday that ramen sounded SO good and he was grossed out :-/ Truthfully, the prepackaged stuff has so much sodium in it I'm sure I'd regret it, but I did buy plain rice noodles, and I always have soy, teriyaki, and other Asian sauces on hand so I will make my own!
I guess my thing so far is fish and carbs! Pretzels, fries, noodles, pasta, etc.
@WMassSoprano think I'll do California rolls too but this week I did go ahead and have regular sushi. I avoided tuna, mackerel and other fishes w/ high mercury levels. If I really crave it I'll go back there and have it. It's ok to eat sushi from reputable sources where the fish is properly prepared.

Nice! Do you have recipe you like to use? I still haven't had my fix. I was in the grocery store yesterday with H, and he fussed at me about all the sodium in the pre-packaged ramen. I definitely agree with him, but we don't have any good ramen joints where we live, and I am REALLY craving it. We may try to whip something up at home.
@knitknit There was one I saw on Pinterest that combined soy sauce and teriyaki, but I haven't had the opportunity to make it yet so I can't vouch that it's good! I think tonight will be a homemade ramen dinner so maybe I can report back!
Yesterday I was craving boardwalk fries with vinegar and that hit the spot. Today it was mozzarella sticks. Things I normal don't eat often. But they both were amazing
Okay another one lol ! I walked out the gas station yesterday and my nose was like pulled to Popeyes lol! It smelled amazing! I ordered a 3 piece spicy chicken combo ! And they gave me 4! Lol! Best suprise ever )

@imrachellea@knitknit I just made my own!! A half a small onion, sliced super thin, a good sized clove of garlic, a nice chunk of ginger. Put the onion in the pot with a little olive oil and let it sweat down just a bit, I used my microplaner to grate up the garlic and ginger. Then I added a couple of big table spoons full of beef better than bullion (I'm sure you could just use beefbroth) and then enough water to turn the bullion to broth. Then I added a couple good splashes of soy sauce until I liked he flavor. When it came to a boil I squeezed a bit of fresh lime juice in. I only had spaghetti for noodles, but they did the trick for now.
I'm going shopping this afternoon and will pick up ramen noodles and maybe some miso paste. Yum yum!!
@knitknit I usually take the ramen from the package, briefly boil it, drain it (to get rid of the bulk of oil in the fried noodles), then I boil it with Korean red pepper paste gochoojang, and a lil bit of soy, and some beef/chicken broth. I add sliced scallions and onion, crack an egg in, sometimes add mushrooms. If its spicy I like adding a slice of cheese- it gets yummier and takes away the spiciness while adding a sweet n saltiness.
If you like the japanese style id make beef broth and add in thick slices of bacon, scallion, a hard boiled egg, and whatever other veggies you want in there.
normally i am a chocolate maniac but now sweets make me sick. the first bite of anything is the best thing ever but i go from starving to stuffed in point 2 seconds. english muffins have been my go-to. tonight i'm thinking about tortellini (if i can muster up the energy to make it)...
These ramen tips are amazing, and now I am STARVING! I am going to crib together these recipes and make my own tomorrow with beef brother, ginger, sriracha and probably soba noodles, since we have some in the house. Mmmm.
My favorite ramen of ALL TIME is from Mitsuwa Marketplace in So Cal, where my DH and I used to live. I dream of this stuff because we now live nowhere near California.
Hey Ladies! Excited about my first time posting! I NEED slushies! I never really craved anything with my DD, but this go-round, its an uncontrollable need for that icy goodness! To avoid waking the kiddos by the blender at night, I've been freezing Capri Sun pouches and going to town on them. Ice cream doesn't do it...I need the slush. :-)
