Spicey food is the only thing that makes me feel ok right now. I just had spicey chicken enchilada cheese soup for breakfast, which was supposed to be my lunch, oops!
Hubby made some scrambled eggs for breakfast yesterday morning and it seemed to do the trick, but everything else is a "in and out" kind of scenario. Second tri...where art thou?!
I am miserably nauseous. The only things I can stand are cheese sandwiches microwaved for 10 seconds (the thought of butter makes me ill) and apple sauce. :-&
Somebody mentioned popeyes earlier and now I want chicken fingers, fries, and a biscuit!! I've never been there before but there's one like 15 minutes from my house. Hmm.
Ditto about Popeyes! I took a different way home today because of traffic and there one was! It was like a sign from the baby gods. So of course I had to stop and get my red beans and rice and chicken fix. It's the only thing that has sounded good in days!
Jelly bean has been all over the place with cravings, arroz con pollo, ramen, black beans and rice, fettuccine alfredo, and fruits (mostly peaches and cantaloupe). The only veggie I can stomach is broccoli but only if it's roasted not steamed. And the only liquids I can handle are water and green gatorade.
The last few days I've been eating like a pint of raspberries a day. YUM. That and plain bagels with plain cream cheese... anything else makes me want to (or sometimes actually) throw up.
ETA: my ticker now has a raspberry on it. Now I feel a little weird about that craving!
For some reason... tomatoes. Tacos... with lots of tomatoes! Hamburger... with lots of tomatoes! Caprese sandwich!
I'm sensing a trend here :P
For me it's been cheese, and salt. Yes, plain salt. I'm weird though and used to just eat salt by itself as a kid. You know those kids who's parents catch them in the sugar bowl, or eating raw sticks of butter? That was me with salt.... And no I don't have any health issues now. I'm really just weird.
Orange Gatorade and pineapple all day, every day. I bought a huge bag of green apples because they used to be my favorite. Took one bite and it tasted EXACTLY like barf. Lovely.

So my parents have wild raspberries growing ALL over their property, including the 20+ mile trail that runs directly behind their house. This summer was particularly good for the raspberry crops. We were visiting them in PA from FL and DD loooooves raspberries...several days of our trip, we literally had breakfast standing outside, perusing the raspberry bushes. We're talking buckets and buckets and buckets of tart sweet wild raspberries.
I had Popeyes for the first time and was underwhelmed. I thought the chicken fingers were just okay. The fries and the biscuits were good though! I think next time I'll just get an extra large order of fries, haha!
After finally getting some medication to subside the nausea from the dr I'm finally having my first craving, lollies!!! Anything sweet and sour I could eat all day. Totally off meat though, and I am usually a big meat eater.
These ramen tips are amazing, and now I am STARVING! I am going to crib together these recipes and make my own tomorrow with beef brother, ginger, sriracha and probably soba noodles, since we have some in the house. Mmmm.
My favorite ramen of ALL TIME is from Mitsuwa Marketplace in So Cal, where my DH and I used to live. I dream of this stuff because we now live nowhere near California.
@knitknit LOL - i feel like sending you some - I live 15min from a Mitsuwa myself!
@briterfly84 I must have a slushie right now which is inconvenient because it's 11:15p. This is the first post to actually make my mouth water in a good way in over two weeks!
Woke up at 230. Ate not one but two GIANT white peaches. Like, these peaches must have taken steroids or something. Im not sure how costco gets their fruit so big

Pro Vax, extended breasftfeeder, ring sling and stroller loving mama. I don't judge you unless you don't vaccinate!
This morning I caved and bought a caramel frappe from McD's. It's the only thing I ever get there and it definitely went over well, hopefully I can keep myself from making it a habit.
Last night I started getting INTENSE cravings for sushi around 9:30 PM. Almost made my husband go out and get some haha. I know where we're going for dinner tonight!

Carrots! Green apples, I guess I'm doing sweet, sour and spicey cos Singapore rice noodles work. I've gone off chocolate in a big way, anything milky too, no more cups of tea but now orange and mango squash!
I've had nothing against food for the first 7 weeks.. But this week everything is sounding disgusting. All I want is Cheerios with coconut milk, strawberries and bananas. Some French toast sounds good also but meats sound..so..BAD!
I've been craving gummy candy like CRAZY - I'm going to have to stop at Trader Joe's on the way to work because I NEED gummy worms. I quit HFCS five years ago and I haven't craved candy like this in at least three or four years, so I'm excited to go on this sugar adventure
@loveinak I'm glad it made your mouth water instead of want to puke! haha! The strawberry-banana smoothie from McDonald's is awesome!! That's what I had yesterday. Much better than the gas station slushie DH brought me on Wednesday! It's becoming a challenge now, to see if I can find better and better slushies!

You're killin' me!! I read this and had to immediately drive to McDonalds to get the mango-pineapple smoothie.
