Hey all! I'm new to this forum but loving that I can learn and connect with everyone in a similar boat. I am12 dpiui and so anxious to find out if it worked. I'm not doing any beta so not sure what that is.
Great! Your 2ww is almost up! Beta is just the results of the blood test. It's the HCG level that shows pregnant or not pregnant. I'm 11dpiui. Are you HPTing or going in for bloodworm and what day? GL and FX for a BFP for you!!

I have such a hard time believing in percentages! My sister conceived twins through IVF, when the twins were almost 2 she decided to try again with IVF. There was below a 1% chance to conceive twins a second time.... One set just turned 5 and the others set will be 3!
No symptoms at 12dpiui. Haven't done a HPT and am not planning to do one till beta. Having "moments of crisis" come and go in the past days. I told DH that I am not going to listen (voicemail from clinic) to beta result till he is home on Friday. I don't want to breakdown at work or be excited. But this wait is terrible!!! @ashtree25@Colleen0516 GL and FX my beta buddies. @Drove2u Hope everything works out for the better! It is a tough call to make. @KidShrink Hooray! TC and hope things progress happily along!
Ugh! I broke down and took a cheapie test and it was negative! Tomorrow is the day th said I could do it since its 14 days past trigger BFN! I am starting to get cramps too. Disappointed, but I hope I'm still in the game!
12dpiui negative again, no faint line :-< I feel AF starting... I'm almost positive that I'm out this round and that I will be starting IVF next month. I already called my RE to schedule a meeting with him. I have a lot of questions about IVF, I'm so anxious about it.

In so excited to hear everyone's results. FX for all of you that there are lots of BFPs. A lot of you are coming to the end of the 2ww. Yay!! So we decided to go forward with the iui.
Sorry to this getting bfn's. I'm only 4 dpiui and have felt a little cranky the past 2-3 days. Nothing major except for about 15 min yesterday right after I went to the bathroom. (I'm thinking leftover gas because after lying on my back for a few min I felt better) I am on estrogen and progesterone so I know cramps are probably from that but I keep thinking maybe I have a cyst. It could be nothing and it's too early for anything else but I hate second guessing every last pain cramp and twinge. Ugh. I wish at the iui the dr checked if you ovulated or maybe a few days after just tone sure
@rachlee2010 omg. I was thinking the same thing. I wish they would tell you when you ovulated. I don't know if I'm doing the iui too late or too early or what.
@Colleen0516 I hear you! I Woke up and even took a FReR and it was so negative. Grr. I am now like "ok cmon af, just come and we can work on next month). I even have cramps. This process is the pits! Ever twinge you get, you think it's something-- doesn't make it easy that I compare a cramp to implantation bleeding- and excuse myself to the restroom.
Poor Dh, he just keeps apologizing when I get a negative-- like its his fault! He has super sperm! I just want to remain hopeful that it will happen next month. I have made some goals-- work out 4 times a week, and only eating out 2x weekly.
I also wanted your ladies advice: my RE said this month they are going to switch me to femara-- I have already done 3 cycles of clomid- all of which were 50mg and every time I ovulated... My lining is eh on it-6.1 on iui day-- even with 2x daily Premarin. Do you think switching is a good idea? If it's a good cycle we will do IUI again too
@roosh1982 : I think it's a great idea if your lining is that thin. I was on Femara to begin with because my lining was already thin before we started. If you don't see any improvement in your lining even on Femara, make sure your doc does try to figure out why...a little surgery to fix things is what gave me my BFP!
@KidShrink how many cycles did you do femara? Did you ever do clomid? I don't have pcos or anything, and Dh and I got pregnant q few years ago right after I got off the pill (literally not even planned) but I m/c... I have unexplained infertility... I said that after anovulation until clomid (no period or ovulating for 4 months after getting off the pill this year), that I wouldn't complain if my body was ovulating like it was supposed to, that went out the window! Now I want to ovulate and get a BFP(greedy greedy!
No, never on Clomid because I've had liver problems that it would have made worse (supposedly had fatty liver, then got my gallbladder removed in January and it was stuck in 'tissue' which turns out to have been endometriosis which was covering my entire liver too). So directly to Femara for me, and I did 3 cycles where I responded well in terms of follies, but my lining was always too thin, and I got BFP. My RE had done a 3D ultrasound of my uterus during my investigative cycle where he saw that my uterus was possibly slightly t-shape (nothing like what you'll find on google if you look up t-shape uterus though). I essentially had a band of muscle had the base of my uterus that was preventing proper blood flow to the uterus, and therefore preventing a proper lining from forming. I always had really light periods for someone woth endo (although that got officially diagnosed only at the time of that surgery in July). Believe me, from my last period, that was fixed! And my lining was at 8.4mm for the first time ever the day before my IUI.
@Drove2u Honestly, I think I would go for it. What are the chances all 5 will get fertilized? There is a 20% chance of getting pregnant, so I don't think you'd end up with that many multiples... maybe twins. I think I'd go for it, especially since the first one didn't work, but that's just me and I am dying for a baby! lol Ultimately it is whatever you and DH feel is best.

I had another monitoring appointment this morning. The doctor's office was PACKED! My lining went down to 6.63mm but the doctor didn't seem concerned. Is it normal for the lining to fluctuate so much? Does anyone else ever have that happen? It's weird.
The tech only measured two follicles. I told her last time there were more and asked her if they just went away and she said she saw some she just didn't measure because "they looked like somewhere in the 10s". I think they were in a hurry so she just measured the two biggest she saw. I am kinda bummed though, why aren't the other ones growing?! I wanted at least three good ones. Anyway... My right follicle is at 15.6mm and the left is at 12.6mm. I told her I had a bigger one on the left last time and she said she thinks the tech was just generous with her measurements because there were two follicles close together. So there's that. Bleh. At least I have something though. I am hoping for at least two mature ones before I trigger.

@roosh1982 I think something other than clomid is probably a good idea, especially since it was making your lining thin! FX for you that the next cycle works.

omg @rachlee2010 and @drove2u--I have been wondering why they don't check prior to the IUI to make sure you ovulated. My guess is that the egg is too small and they can't tell--but wouldn't they be able to tell if the follicle ruptured?!
Tuesday was my third IUI and I swear I felt ovulation pains this morning. I am trying not to stress out about it and but I definitely had pain in my right side --and my follie this month was on the right.
@kmetcalfe77 good luck. I hope it works for both of us. I'm also on crinone. It's definitely not the most pleasant thing. If you think you felt ovulation pains today you should do the old fashioned way today just in case. I know the Drs can't see the eff but the can see if the follicle Is gone and left behind the corpus lutem or whatever it's called. I was at the dr for something else a week after my first iui last month and they did and ultrasound and could tell I ovulated.
@kmetcalfe77 I'd BD anyway, just to be sure. Sometimes the trigger doesn't always make you O on que. I wish they had a way to tell when/if we ovulated as well.
My nurse just called. Estrogen is at 136 they want to see me again tomorrow morning, could I actually get getting close to my first IUI?!

It's 6:00 here in NY and still no AF but I feel her presence. I'm losing my mind. I know my beta will be negative in the morning, BUT I just need it confirmed to shed ALL hope. Bc a tiny part of me still thinks, "hey, miracles happen!"

@Colleen0516 Deep breaths, slow stretches. It's not done till the beta. These are the things I am telling myself. Got very close to taking a HPT yesterday and then talked myself out of it. I hope and pray you get BFP! If it is IVF you are upping your chances of BFP. If it comes to that keep your mind on that. This is my first IUI. So ways to go if BFN. :-SS But I am trying to pep myself with optimistic thoughts. I think about everybody on this forum. Special thoughts to my beta buddies for tomorrow!

I am a stress eater and have not been keeping on track with my healthier diet. There are moments when I think this might be a pregnancy symptom X_X given I do not have any pronounced signs for now. Just odd, dull twinges. Then after a meal if I feel bloated I am thinking may be this is a sign and then [-( . ) at myself.
No AF last night or this morning and BBT was still lowish again this morning. 13dpiui so POAS since they don't have me do betas. BFN. So now just waiting for AF to show up so I can start my IVF.
Sorry @HBamama2B! I took a HPT too this morning before I left for the doctor. Negative! Bummer. Waiting for beta test now. Discussed IVF with my doctor today though; he bumped my appointment forward!

I'm 15 days dpiui and I spoke to the nurse yesterday, the test was BfN yesterday so she pretty much said 2 things: 1. I might be testing too early, and 2. If I was bfn on cycle day 27 then I was prob negative. I made an appointment to see the rE on Monday- I love the Apn's but I am paying big money for RE, and have met him once, on consult day! It's been all the Rn's since then! Since I moved mid cycle to him on 8/14, I just want to meet him before I switch to femara (and beg for estrogen patches or suppositories)... I am not going to test until after aF is late. It's psychological torture

I had the absolute worst night! I cramped all night that I only got 2 hours of sleep. It almost felt like Af is on her way but she's not supposed to be here until the 4th. Not a fun night

@Drove2u Honestly, I think I would go for it. What are the chances all 5 will get fertilized? There is a 20% chance of getting pregnant, so I don't think you'd end up with that many multiples... maybe twins. I think I'd go for it, especially since the first one didn't work, but that's just me and I am dying for a baby! lol Ultimately it is whatever you and DH feel is best.

@riveridrional Wow, I didn't know that's how they got 6! With my luck I'd have that many follicles every time and never get pregnant. That's how much life works. lol

My lining went down to 6.63mm but the doctor didn't seem concerned. Is it normal for the lining to fluctuate so much? Does anyone else ever have that happen? It's weird.
The tech only measured two follicles. I told her last time there were more and asked her if they just went away and she said she saw some she just didn't measure because "they looked like somewhere in the 10s". I think they were in a hurry so she just measured the two biggest she saw. I am kinda bummed though, why aren't the other ones growing?! I wanted at least three good ones. Anyway... My right follicle is at 15.6mm and the left is at 12.6mm. I told her I had a bigger one on the left last time and she said she thinks the tech was just generous with her measurements because there were two follicles close together. So there's that. Bleh. At least I have something though. I am hoping for at least two mature ones before I trigger.

My guess is that the egg is too small and they can't tell--but wouldn't they be able to tell if the follicle ruptured?!
Tuesday was my third IUI and I swear I felt ovulation pains this morning. I am trying not to stress out about it and but I definitely had pain in my right side --and my follie this month was on the right.
I started the dreaded crinone tonight. UGH.
Why does this all have to be so stressful
@kmetcalfe77 on US they could see fluid around the ruptured follicle post ovulation but not the egg itself. I second ^, BD away!!
@kmetcalfe77 I'd BD anyway, just to be sure. Sometimes the trigger doesn't always make you O on que. I wish they had a way to tell when/if we ovulated as well.
My nurse just called. Estrogen is at 136 they want to see me again tomorrow morning, could I actually get getting close to my first IUI?!

Got very close to taking a HPT yesterday and then talked myself out of it.
I hope and pray you get BFP! If it is IVF you are upping your chances of BFP. If it comes to that keep your mind on that. This is my first IUI. So ways to go if BFN. :-SS
But I am trying to pep myself with optimistic thoughts.
I think about everybody on this forum. Special thoughts to my beta buddies for tomorrow!
I'm still awaiting AF to start round 2. I'm already feeling positive about this round.
