We had been really stuck on a girl's middle name, but I am really liking Virginia since it is DH's grandmother's middle name and the one she goes by and we met, went to high school and college and were married in Virginia. It would make the name a little long, but how often do you really use your full name anyway?
Has anyone given their child 2 middle names on the birth certificate? We want to use my mom's name "Lea Ann" for middle name, but I'm wondering if I'll need to spell it Leann. Other option would be to just use Ann.
We are having baby number three! Older brother (stepson) is Gabriel Richard. Older sister is Piper Lee. Now we decided on Lilith Rose for a girl and are torn between two versions of a boys name. Either Phury Von or Wyatt Phury Von.
DH is afraid if we give a boy the name Phury that kids will be cruel and torment him.

Olivia Lea Ann Olivia Ann
All our children will have two middle names. The second middle name will be my maiden name. We figured this was a nice way to pass on both names without hyphenating and they can decide to use both throughout their lives or just be known by one.

Yes, my DD has two middle names. So do my brother and me. This baby will too. My MIL fought against it for some reason. Which I found hilarious that she somehow had the impression that her opinion counted at all. Baaahahaha
We're team green and have finally narrowed things down. These are Finnish names so I don't expect anyone here to be able to pronounce them just by reading them.
Boy: Eero Valio Charles (last name ends in -lee sound). Pronunciation is like the English word "arrow" and then VAH-lee-oh
Girl: Aune Leena Aliisa -lee. Pronounced like (OW-neh) (LAY-nah) (AH-lee-ee-sah). I'm not stuck on Aliisa though. Not sure if anyone could offer some (Finnish) suggestions. I'm debating using the family name Nickander as the second middle name.
@morganabyrd My parents named me Leigh Ann - first, middle, but I have never gone by just Leigh. It's kind of annoying at times to explain that basically my first name is two names. I hate when people call me Leigh by itself, and I considered legally changing it when I got married to just combine both into a first name. Now, in the middle name position, I don't see that being much of a problem. Just wanted to throw in my perspective. It's a great name otherwise!
@Nukke have you looked at nameberry.com? My DH is of Danish descent and I did a lot of research (like a lot a lot) on Scandinavian names on there. I have Dagmar, Annika, Petra, Ingrid and Brigit on my girl list of middles.
@Morganabyrd We are planning on (okay, I am planning on) 2 middles for my LO. I am very big on honouring family in names. And I have a umber of strong women in my and my DH's family. So there will most likely be a 2 middle name situation.
My 4 years of name research, has resulted in a very classic, family honouring, great meaning name that is our first choice. But will not share until we meet her.
For now she is Thunder Bolt Jackson, TBJ for short.
Mama to a wonderful DD - Sep 2015, Wife to my DH since 2011, 2 dogs, a cat, and hoping to add No. 2 in May/June 2018. Canadian. 5 - IUIs, 3 - IVF retrievals, 2- failed transfers (fresh, and frozen), PGS on second IVF resulted in 1 perfect emby, and DD. 3rd IVF w PGS resulted in 3! perfect embys. 1st transfer - Sep 2017 2 more on ice.

Nameberry is pretty hit and miss for Finnish names. I highly recommend the nordic names wiki (google it for the link). Great resource with excellent cited source info on each name and its meaning.
Sienna is also on our list but we were thinking of Senna like in Everworld (no one I know has ever heard of that series before so you made my day just by knowing) and I didn't know there was a Twilight character named Senna. I also didn't know it was a laxative so now that name is out. Bummer, it was my favorite.
Does anyone have an opinion on the name Caden? Mostly spelling of it. I have seen it Cayden Caiden and Kayden. I don't know which one is correct out of the four.

Caden is the way to go however I think the trendy Aiden/Aden add any letter in front was overdone 5 years ago. There are boys/girls everywhere with Jayden, Brayden, Caden, Zairean, raiden, Payden, Hayden etc.
Thank you @Nukke for that!! That's the spelling I was planning on. @bbiutmcph I agree it probably is a name that's too overdone but it's the only one hubby and I have mutually agreed on so I'm really excited to finally have a name picked out. I guess we just won't be original with naming this little guy.
Help! Our baby girl is currently being called, "Baby Girl" because we have too many names we like! What's your opinon? Hazel Mae Quinn Lorene Blake Lorene Blakely Marley We're unsure on the middle name for the last two.
@Brooke&Jesse it is a beautiful name, I work at a doctors office and often call scripts in to our local pharmacy the lady that answers has that name and spells it Ilah. I guess that doesn't really change how it looks typed but another option!
@stephwm, my favorites from your list are Hazel Mae and Quinn Lorene. Something about Quinn Lorene makes me think of quiche lorraine, but I love the name Quinn! How is Lorene pronounced?
@vamomtobe Hazel Mae has been our front runner! Lorene is said with a long e, Lor- eene. My grandma has always wanted a grandbaby named after her and and her name is Gladys Lorene. I would much rather use Lorene
So I'm thinking Harper Marie Williams, not really crazy about Marie anyone have any middle name suggestions...I'm sold on Harper, just trying to pull it all together
@brynagc Love the name Emerson for a boy. We are tossing up between Henry Emerson George or Henry Thomas George. My partner is dead set on Henry as a first name. I LOVE Emerson as a middle name but Thomas is my father's middle name and my partner's middle name so would have more meaning?!
Finding a name for our baby that we agree on has been hard this time around. My husband really wanted a Jr. Which would have been Daniel. I have nothing against that name. In fact it's a family name for my family as well. My brother and uncle are both Daniel. However, I just don't feel a connection to the name and my baby. I am guessing it will be a lingering want until I deliver. Meh. We HAVE agreed on another name for our son, it just hasn't had the "yep that's the one" go ahead from my DH. And get this, my mom is not a fan of the name either. But I LOVE it and so do my other kids who are 11 and 8. Drum roll please.......... Quinn Daniel Wolfs
Is it really that bad? Am I delirious to think that it's a great name? Ugh. Naming a baby is hard. Lol
Naming this little one has been such a struggle!! We have it narrowed down to about 4 names.. Jaelyn Jacie Ellie Aaliyah For middle name we like either Grace or Rae Any thoughts/comments!?
