Those words are irregular for a reason...English is a combination of many many languages. Chazitty reads as Chaz-it-ee, I would NEVER get Cassidy from that, ever. I'm a teacher, I usually would say stick with standard phonics for name spellings.
Agree with pp. They are irregular and that is not how you spell Cassidy phonetically. I would consider changing part of the name irregular if you are really set on having a unique spelling but each chunk spelled irregular is pretty nuts. Sorry I have a pretty strong opinion about irregular spelling of names and this is a public forum. I think it would be better to have a unique name with a regular spelling than the opposite. At least with Tiger you know how to say it. It is a pretty big problem when no one knows how to spell or read the name, but it sounds like you are pretty set on your spellings.
Here are a few words in the English language that have ch pronounced as k. ache anchor archeology architect archive bronchitis chameleon chaos character charisma chasm chemical chemistry chemotherapy chlorine choir chord choreography chorus Christ Christian Christmas chrome chronic chronological echo mechanic monarchy orchestra orchid psychiatrist psychiatry psycho psychologist psychology schedule scheme scholar school stomach synchronize technician technique technology zucchini
AND it is spelled Chazitty with 2 t's not 2 z's. Another poster suggested I spell it with 2 z's. And "sidy" and "zitty" are pretty much the same pronunciation.
I hope you include this explanation to every teacher, instructor, and employer chattzitty has. That's what auto correct did and I'm not fixing it just to demonstrate the challenges of this name
Chazitty just makes me think of Chaz from fresh prince. If you're ok with people thinking of your beautiful little girl as will smith's dopey friend from a 90's sitcom- go for it. And with that in mind- I think that's the best of the names you mentioned.
Eta- Google search, his name is jazz. Still similar enough to remind me of him, so still not a good choice for a girl's name.

Edit... I feel dumb for not reading the whole post! I would delet if I could!!!
So it seems everyone had a problem with my spelling of Chazitty. So I guess Key'Lee Graysyn and Jaxsyn Mikal must just be too common. But the more you all talk about how much you hate my spelling only makes me like it more.
Have these been posted on the Baby Names Board yet? That board would love this. I'm kind of surprised nobody has mentioned Jaksyn Mikal yet. Big fan of Michael Jackson?

Bahahaha oh man. Totally did not put two & two together. How awful.
These names definitely need to be added to the baby name forum. In fact, I'll go add them to the "fun, totes YOUneek names seen recently round these parts" thread. Maybe OP should read the "why name spelling matters" thread
Can you at least spell half of the name correctly? Example Jacksyn or Jaxson instead of Jaxsyn. To me these names make it look like you are illiterate or can't spell which will be passed on to how your child will be perceived. I am not accusing you of this because obviously from reading your other posts you can, I am just trying to point it out to you. I think no one has commented on your other names because we can at least figure out what they say, but Jaxsyn, Mikal, and Graysyn are extremely common, just not how you spell it so your child won't be unique in school. I have no idea how to pronounce Qadira or Key'Lee.

Tiger is not pronounced like the animal. It's a soft g.
@LC122 that's probably a better idea. Idk what I was thinking posting it here.
Yes. Please post it there. Because if you're all in a bunch over these responses it will go over much better when they get ahold of these train wreck names.

I do agree with the other posters. I had no idea it was pronounced Cassidy. When I first saw it I thought Chastity. I wasn't even really able to figure out what the other names were supposed to be except for Grayson and Jackson (which I love the name Jackson btw) I think there are still kind of unique ways of spelling names without being too over the top. I saw someone say the one name is kaylee which I've seen spelled that way and my best friends name is spelled Kaeleigh which I thought was unique when I met her. I think the one suggestion of at least spelling half the name normal is a good idea. Everyone wants names to be unique so their kid stands out but a lot of the times the kids don't really like it. I met a guy named Mars which I thought was kinda cool but he said he really didn't like it. Tiger might like it now but that could change into adulthood. If you really love the names then go for it but I think it is worth it to really think about the spellings. I'd start using it in conversation. Ask people in your family and friend circle to spell it out and if they think it's a problem or not.
I was just using it for a reference of how name spelling and pronunciation are not what you would call "traditional" there. So when did it become such a big deal on how a name is spelled or pronounced? I'm not naming my child something that 5098957356 other people have used.
ETA and for your information I like the sound of the "traditional" names but I think changing the spelling to something original gives it more character and isn't so plain ole boring.
But you are. When I call out a name in class, it doesn't matter how it's spelled, every kid with the same name pronunciation still looks up. You just are giving that kid a life time of having to explain them self and constantly having to correct every single person they come in contact with. I do not see Cassidy when you put Chazitty. All I saw was Ka-zitty.
Love this. I used to hate having a "normal" name when I was a kid. But as I've gotten older, it's been one less thing I have to worry about when I apply for jobs.

If I had a girl I'd name her Tondalayah, but I'm having a boy. I have some thinking to do.... hmm... suggestions? You are so good with youneek names.
I can't wait to see the responses on the baby name board!
Me either maybe they will get it. Obviously D15 doesn't. It will have to be tomorrow though. I'm going to bed.
The way you want to pronounce the names are fine, it's just the spelling you've come up with is awful. It's like the one child named La-a. The pronunciation of La-a is supposed to be Ladasha. O_o
Believe it or not, people mispronounce DS's name. It is Dominic, but people have said Dominique and even Domino. At least at 3, he can spell his name.

This x1000. Listen, you can name your kid whatever you want. But your spelling makes no sense phonetically. Everyone, and I mean everyone you meet is going to pronounce the name Chaz/it/tee. The words you listed that do not have the /ch/ sound first are irrelevant, by the way.
I'm waiting for the post to be updated telling us this is all a joke.
Based on the original post and the first few responses, it's a joke making fun of people who ask for name opinions, having more than one baby shower, gender reveals, and people getting upset over others opinions.

Because, we're adults. Obviously.
I hope it's a joke. And if it is, so what? Even adults have gotta have some fun in life!
