So DH and I have finally agreed on some names!!! For a girl we are loving the name Chazitty Qadira or Key'Lee Graycyn still not for sure which we LOVE the most. And for a boy we are going for Jaxsyn Mykal. We are dead set on the boy name. We are finding out what we are having tomorrow. I plan on having a Gender Reveal party next weekend this is my 4th and I never got to do anything like this with any of my other 3. Oh and my sister finally talked me into a baby shower!! I guess since my youngest is 7 she felt I needed one this time too.
Re: So excited!!
I LOVE your name choices! I hated being in school with 13 Jennifers, no one knew which was which, so super unique names are just the right thing to do. I like Chazzity spelling more than Chazitty though, but that's my opinion.
For your gender party, have you heard of filling cupcakes with the color of the gender???? I just saw this the other day so I'm pretty sure it hasn't been done too much yet.
ANOTHER SHOWER???? You're so blessed! That sounds like a lot of fun. I'm pretty jealous.
I read it with a "sh" sound. So "Sha-zee-tie".
ETA although sh sounds really pretty too I am going to run that by DH.
Would you mind if I messaged you for help on a more unique set of names for our twins?
I am not having a reveal, but I hope yours will go well! What are you planning? Make sure to use the sticky threads to announce on the board!
You might receive some criticism for having a baby shower for your fourth child, but since someone else is throwing it I guess it could be rude to say no, especially if your sister is excited to do it.
As far as the shower goes are you throwing it yourself or is she throwing it for you? It's fine either way but if she's throwing it make sure she invites a lot of people...with your youngest being 7 I would imagine starting over would be overwhelming and you'll need as much help gathering baby items as possible. Don't forget to let people know where you're registered too, it's super tacky when people make you dig for that info.
Wouldn't even know how to go about pronouncing any of those names & I doubt anyone else in life will either ...
ETA and for your information I like the sound of the "traditional" names but I think changing the spelling to something original gives it more character and isn't so plain ole boring.
Cassidy is a great name. Never would have thought that would be how it's pronounced.
Chazzity reads CHAZ-ITY to me.
The names are so outrageous (ridiculous) that I don't even feel like addressing the "baby shower" part of the thread.
Anyways- Goodluck. For your future child's sake I truly hope you have a change of heart and choose something that will be a little easier for them to have to live with & put on a job resume.

AND it is spelled Chazitty with 2 t's not 2 z's. Another poster suggested I spell it with 2 z's. And "sidy" and "zitty" are pretty much the same pronunciation.
