Wait, salt on watermelon? Are you joshing me? (does anyone remember THAT term?) ... like, are you going to crack up if I go home and try this and it's actually super terrible? Because I'm tempted to try it.
I salt tomatoes and eat those raw ... same same?
It's totally legit! The salt brings out the sweetness. You can also try it on pineapple.

OH HECK NO. Pineapple is perfection just the way it is. Why mess with perfection?

Hahah, true dat. Maybe it's a cultural thing. That's how we eat watermelon and pineapple in the Philippines. We sprinkle a little bit of salt to "extract" the sweetness. At least that's what the oldies say.
My OU(only for "certain" users): I love the "mean girls" on this board (who are really not mean). I tend to stay in the corner of the lunch room and peer over my book but with the week this board has had... I can't even! Just because someone speaks the truth and you can't take it or they disagree, doesn't mean that they are "mean". Get over yourself, we're not going to join your pitty party and strap them big girl panties on.
These passive aggressive class comments are funny. But umm I'm lost how this went from Unpopular Opinions to complaining about other users on this post.
Everyone is entitled to their feelings, but from my observation, the same way people are upset about people's responses to their posts about sex disappointment are just about equivalent to the people who were upset in the first place. It is OK to not agree, it is OK to express your feelings, it is OK to be upset. But at the same time, it needs to be kept in mind that this is an INTERNET FORUM, as both sides point out. Therefore, the same argument is being used that it's a forum and people can and will say what they choose. Stirring up drama about it every week is useless and just makes the commentator come across as a trouble maker and instigator.
In regards to many people having this issue about sex disappointment, the reason they are often directed to the search function is so that they can find the answers they are looking for, from people who have expressed the same issue. Everyone posting the same issue over and over is counter productive and other informative posts and questions get lost. Posting about something that has pages and pages of information on it because you want to speak about your own specific story is the equivalent of coming into an already happening conversation and cutting off someone else who is speaking to talk about yourself. It is rude. As for people being offended, it is hypocritical to be upset about people being offended by your post or a friend's post, but then you think it is OK to be offended by them and their reactions. We can all agree to disagree, but that comment was just mess. We are all adults... we don't need to have bump post wars.

I lived in Thailand, and you're right, now that I think about it they did add salt to a lot of things. My favorite dessert was bananas is coconut milk which had a bunch of sugar in it but also a hefty bit of salt and it totally did bring out the sweetness. You may be on to something.
I hate cheese. All cheeses. I take the cheese off pizza. No cheese on my pasta. No grilled cheese. NO CHEESE!! I know, I'm a strange bird
Girl, you should never come to Wisconsin! I put cheese on the outside of my grilled cheese and eat it with Cheetos. It's basically it's own food group.

Wait wait wait wait wait ... pizza WITHOUT cheese? Can you even call that pizza anymore? Why not just order breadsticks or garlic bread and dip it in marinara sauce? I mean yeah, other toppings ... but NO CHEESE? I can't.
I could not survive without cheese. It just wouldn't happen. If I had to get rid of every other foods on the planet, cheese and potatoes would be the two things I'd keep.
I hate that I just went to the mall for the first time in years... There was no Disney store or maternity stores, and only Macy's had a maternity section. 'Our maternity section is online'

This is me! I don't eat cheese at all. I actually order pizza without cheese and don't worry about having to picking it off.
Wuuuuuuutt?! Y'all are crazy! What's pizza without cheese? Sauce and bread. Gross lol. You might a well just order breadsticks?
It's like a fancy breadstick because it I get other toppings. I know it's odd but I have never liked it. I do try it every now and then because it would open up many different food options for me, but I haven't found any I like.
I do have to say I do eat cream cheese and other sweeter cheeses just not the more savory ones.
I make the best vegan pizza- recipe from minimalist baker. No cheese. I'd rather eat that than any dominos, Pizza Hut, etc. Okay wood oven pizza from my fav Italian place always wins but other than that this vegan pizza is the best.
UO: As much as I love to Bump and some of you ladies, sometimes I am just too tired to get involved. I just looked at the clock and realized it was only 6:45.
I'm obsessed with cheese! When I go grocery shopping. My cart is mostly cheese . 5 boxes of cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, feta, sliced deli cheese -havarti and baby Swiss, string cheese, Parmesan, cottage cheese and Asiago. All in very large bags, blocks and quantities. I can live off cheese and bread lol. Soooo bad I know..

And cantaloupe!!! Salting cantaloupe is delicious.
Prime mamas--have you discovered prime pantry?!? Because of it I can now go to the produce market and get my dairy and produce and butcher shop for meat. Life. Changing.
My UO-- I hate that all the political crap is stirring up again. Elections again?! Gah. Brings out the worst in my ultra liberal and ultra conservative friends. The season where I deactivate Facebook is fast approaching. Let's face it.. We haven't had an amazing president since... Uhhhh forever ago.
Haha @duckinoven grrrrrr! I love my Toyota Prius! They're def ugly yes. But they're awesome too. I drive fast too. People automatically think Prius is slow but they're actually very fast. Can't beat 50 miles a gallon! And they're very very spacious. They look small but they're HUGE on the inside. The only thing I hate about my Prius is how other drivers automatically try to cut me off when I'm going faster than them. They just think "oh a Prius is coming, I can go ahead and get in front, I'm sure they're going slow..." That shit annoys me to the core! Before the Prius I had a Honda CR-V, Acura Legend, Bmw and Jeep. Out of all the cars, Prius is my favorite.
My UO- some people just don't seem to be able to listen to @BumpAdmin or to be able to understand what it is that they are saying almost every single time that they shut down a thread. Stop voicing your grievances with the community or specific board members! Follow the TOU, be prepared to disagree. Don't prohibit another person's enjoyment of the board.
So my UO- READ THE FRIGGIN TOU THAT IS PINNED AT THE TOP OF THE BMB.
@Marchmellow2 I actually don't assume that! My hubs totally wants one, we even test drove it and they are all the things you mentioned, and I'm just not on board. We've lived in 2 cities where they are the IT car and sadly I generalize the drivers as being unaware. Yes I know that's not everyone!!

Can we still be friends ?
Hahaha of course!! ❤️❤️❤️
You're not alone! Many many people generalize Prius drivers!! That's the only thing I hate about it. I wouldn't have so much road rage if it wasn't for that constant reminder of how much people hate me and my car lol! I just wish I could dress her up in a different outfit so know one knew she was the dreaded slow unaware Prius lol. When I buy another car it's not going to be a Prius. It will be a Hybrid. I'm thinking Tesla is my next car or Toyota Highlander.
I like the Prius! I'd get one for my next car but my bf inexplicably hates them and offered to help me pay for a different car if I didn't get one (he is annoying). I think they're cute! I like the mint color.

I am a cheeseaholic!! I could eat it all day/all night. I love it best as a side with pickles.
My UO this week Is I dislike drama kings. I work with this guy who is my age and seriously causes drama all day long, always whining and complaining. Just shut it and so your work. Not a fan of drama queens either. Oh and trouble makers!
My UO is I kinda think the ladies on "I didn't know I was pregnant" have it kinda good...in theory, at least.
In my opinion, part of the fear of labor is that you have 9 months to build up anxiety about it! If you don't know you're pregnant and then one day you're sitting on the toilet and are like "oh shit, a baby's coming out", you can just deal with it as it happens.

I eat cheese on almost errythang... I'm man... may have to report you for this offense lmao.

My UO is that I can't stand the Toyota Prius. I think it looks like a car my Barbie dolls would have had next to their RV when I was 8.
