I am a Special Education teacher in a program designed for students with emotional and behavior difficulties. I teach the 2nd and 3rd grade students who are in the program, in my building.
I'm an Emergency RN and it has made this pregnancy as a FTM very difficult to accept as we see SO many miscarriages. Finally at 12w6d I'm beginning to think 'ok, it's real'.
I'm a Nurse Anesthetist. I would love to be a SAHM, but I am the major bread-winner in our house, so that won't ever happen. I love what I do, every single day, but wish I could spend more time with my LO once he/she comes. Love hearing all the different types of jobs!!
I'm a full time preschool teacher, currently on summer break. And I recently had to quit my most favorite part-time dream job EVER thanks to getting knocked up - Professional Party Princess. We'd dress up as Disney characters and visit little kids at their birthday parties or host special events. And the company just started doing mermaids pool parties in silicone tails!!
I am a 9th grade math teacher. I have been a SAHM all summer with my DS but back to work on Monday. Being off the first trimester through the worst of the vomiting and exhaustion has been wonderful even if I am chasing my 16 month old around
I'm a lawyer pregnant with my third and I think I might stay home after this one is born because I don't know how my husband will survive the 60-80 hour workweeks on his own. Did you keep your bar membership? I'm not sure if I should go inactive or try to do some side work. @alice2Bcheshire
I'm a substitute teacher For grades 4/5 during the school year and a lady of leisure during the summer. Burritos from the food truck at the market any day I please? Bring it on!

Hi @MeghaJake! I moved to inactive status as soon as my memberships were up for renewal. It was a tough decision, but I'm licensed in two states and the cost of keeping the active licenses combined with the loss of my salary (and the ever-present student loan payments for a degree that's metaphorically and literally collecting dust) was too much to be offset by occasional side work. Plus, I had two infants and a toddler-- I barely had time to brush my teeth some days, much less do any actual legal work that required my brain
I'm a computer engineer & I'm very blessed because I work from home full time.
Cool, does that mean you are a software developer? Or what kind of engineer are you? I work very closely with software developers in my job at my startup.
