I thought it would be nice to have a post where we can show the progress on our nurseries. Post your photos so we can all see!
Our colors are sage green, sky blue, aqua, and peach. The curtains/rug are from Overstock, the valance is from Etsy, the glider is from Craigslist, the crib is from BabiesRUs, and the letters for hanging over the crib are from Michaels. I made the book quotes myself by using card stock and a gold gel pen. Next will be some hanging bookshelves and a project I'm doing making hot air balloons out of paper lanterns and mini baskets to hang in the corner.

Re: Post Those Nursery Photos!
Our Cubs themed nursery is coming along awesome! I'm so excited.
@nycmommy13 I love your pictures, you did a great job.
I am completely in the same boat. I have all the ideas in my head but I don't see it getting started until end of August or September. Our spare room is currently occupied by my younger brother. I told him he has until August to either move down to our finished basement (which is like a whole other house in itself) or find his own place.
Our nursery is impossible to get a decent picture of because it's tiny. But it's all done thanks to this baby being a girl - we're just moving her into DD's room and DD and DS are going to be getting bunk beds.
ETA: these are both old pictures but it looks the same pretty much.
I sanded it really well to take the lacquer off of it and then put 2 coats of paint on it! It's was very easy, just time consuming. I got ours at a consignment store with the hardware to transition it into the toddler bed for $40. After paint and materials wound up costing me about $80 altogether! Well worth the 2 days of mess for me!
Edited for spelling. I'm full of brain farts today. Lol.
However, last year, we closed on our home August 14th and still managed to put together my daughter's nursery (see pic) before she was born 12 days after (August 26th). I have to give some hope that last minute nurseries can be pulled off!
Same. Just a mess
It looks like the Hemnes dresser from Ikea. I'm getting it for my girls room too. lol. Love that it's an 8 drawer instead of a 6 drawer dresser. The little drawers are perfect for baby's diaper items and transitions to sock and underwear drawers as they get older.
We are putting the finishing touches on our nursery this weekend! I swear decorating the nursery eases my anxiety about all the things I have absolutely no control over!
@segorman17 - it is a hamper! You can get it from Home Depot or (I think) Home Decorators. It's the medium sized one - just FYI.
