OMG so I saw this and didn't read the small print. My first reaction was "holy cuteness!!" My second reaction was "wow he/she is growing fast!! ...Wait...is that possible?"

Mine got moved from July 23 to Aug 28th as the clinic only runs once a month... however I will be able to find out a lot then!

SOOOOOO..... I really don't wan to wait till 13+ weeks for my first scan... so I booked an early viability scan myself for £60 next Friday (7 weeks). Its one of the only things I will have to pay for out of pocket (That and I just picked up a Medala Swing Maxi Double for £144... BAM!)

I am excited that I will have a picture to share with DH and the grandparents when we tell them!

My viability scan is scheduled for the 27th (8 weeks). I can't wait until there are actual u/s pics in this thread!

According to the calendar I got at my OB I will have one ultrasound and it will be at 20 weeks. Does that sound right ? I have no idea as this is my first ...

First ultrasound is July 16th! Soooo excited!!! It's weird though... It lands on my dads 3 year anniversary since he passed.

Since we conceived via IVF my RE's office is monitoring me until my OB/GYN will pick up at 10 weeks. My first ultrasound is Tuesday!

One scan is normal. I only had one for both of my LOs. I know it stinks!

My first appointment with my OBGYN is on July 27th so I'm hoping to get an u/s then! Kinda wish it was sooner but what can you do

A lot of OBs/Midwives only like to do a single ultrasound (assuming no complications) at the anatomy scan. Sounds like that's the camp your OB falls in. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

My first ultrasound is July 21, right when I start my 7th week...every day feels like an eternity!!! I don't know how I'm going to get through the next two weeks (and one day)! L-)

I had my first ultrasound today! I haven't had my AF since my MC in April, so we did one once my levels were high enough to date the pregnancy. I expect to be around 5w3d, the ultrasound today showed the gestational sac and the yolk sac, but that was about it. I go back next week to have another one done.

7 weeks, 5 days. (Sorry for lurking. I'm actually 15 weeks right now). My future MIL got me this cute little frame. Baby's butt is off to the left and you can see the umbilical cord floating down. I was over the moon happy but I hate waiting until 20 weeks for the next US.

One scan is normal----however if you want to do the testing for DS which is offered to everyone at my office you will get blood work and an ultrasound between 11-13 weeks if I remember correctly. It's referred to as the nt scan.

According to my LMP I should be six weeks but ultrasound today shows it measures 5 w 1 d. 118 beats per minute

I paid the out of pocket $40 for it.. my first isn't until 14 weeks bc I will be traveling so I really wanted to make sure everything was OK before I fucked off the to the continent. Plus now I have a picture to show the grandparents next Friday when we tell them!

I had my first u/s yesterday due to pelvic pain. By my calculations I was 5 weeks exactly, but my gestational sac was measuring a few days earlier. The doc said he saw what could be the beginning of a yolk sac. I wish we had seen more, but I get to go for another on on the 22nd.

Had an ultrasound today!! Measured 6w1d, heartbeat was 127 bpm! This is my rainbow baby, we are thrilled! I go back in 2 weeks for another!

My little Sweet Pea-Due March 8th. Seriously a miracle baby. After 4 rounds of fertility treatments, 3 years of trying, and 2 losses we have a miracle baby. We gave up and moved on and found out we were pregnant. Crazy.

Little lentil is only 6 weeks 1 day in this ultrasound, taken on Monday. A bit disappointed we didn't see more... But it is what it is. Heartbeat was present so that's all that matters!

How were your ladies done? Mine was abdominal, was anyone's vaginally at the early scan?
