We are having a boy. We have DS named Logan. The names I really like are:
Liam Grayson Adam Nathan Wesley Tyler Chase Jordan Julian
Our top contenders are Liam (Logan and Liam is adorable) and Grayson. Both very popular but so was mine growing up and I'm fine just like the Jennifer's and Jessica's of the world.
Thefithuntress - we've been looking at that site and a few others. Just having a harder time agreeing on anything than the 1st time around
You'll find something. I had a fun time searching international names, too... German, Arabic, old English.. Lots of fun names people don't think of much!
Just a reminder to all to Google your preferred first and middle names together before making a final decision. I just learned that my husband's and my top choice first/middle name combo for our baby girl also happens to be the moniker of a notorious porn star...

Liam and Logan sounds so cute that I would go for Liam just for that fact!
Can anyone think of anything negative about "Adelynn Marie"?
Well it is a made up spelling. The proper spelling would be Adeline. I think it is much more classic with this traditional spelling, plus it keeps from looking like all the other -lynn names out there. Just my two cents.
My fiance all of a sudden likes the name Harley Quinn for a girl. Yes, like the character. Any thoughts? I'm not really too fond of naming a kid after a fictional character.

Don't do it! Especially since your baby will be born shortly before the suicide Squad movie (starring Harley Quinn). I think of Harley as more of a boy's name, but you could do it as a girl with a different middle name. Or Quinn. But not together.

My best friend has a Great Dane named Harley Quinn because she is harlequin marked. She looks like a cow.
We are having a baby boy! I'm finding it hard to be certain on a name but we are thinking Lincoln James. My parents hate it but others love it, opinions?

I agree! I don't dislike the name, but naming her after a fictional character who is about to get a whole lot more popular doesn't sound like a good idea. I absolutely LOVE the name Quinn though! Perhaps he'll go for that?

I always loved Harley Quinn the character, but that's not really a great namesake. Especially with the new movie coming out, there will be a lot more people knowing who she is soon. I have no issues using fictional characters as name inspiration, but this may not be the best choice. If your husband is a big Batman fan maybe try Talia?
We are having a baby girl and so far we like Eva as her first name. I'd like her middle name to be Shareen (my moms name is Sharena) but my husband isn't sold on it. I think Eva Shareen sounds so pretty!
Can anyone think of anything negative about "Adelynn Marie"?
The two spellings are pronounced differently. So with the middle name marie i think adelynn has a nicer flow to it. although any name ending with lynn my fiance thinks sounds hick or trashy so im not allowed to go that direction lol
Congrats I'm due in November and it's a girl ...naming her Jordaynn Reighn :x
Congrats on a precious baby girl. Just FYI, as an educator, I can tell you that the spelling of both names and the pronunciation of the first (is it Jord-IN or Jord-AYN?) are kind of a nightmare. You don't really have to go so out of the box with the spelling, IMO.
What does everyone think of the names Adaline, Eleanor, or Ophelia. Those are my top three. Thanks!
Adaline is a little too trendy for me, but still a pretty name. Eleanor and Ophelia are beautiful. I would love to go with Ophelia but DH vetoed that one too. He's very difficult to name children with.

I love Adaline but my concern is it's trendy! My DH and I can't decide between Ophelia and Eleanor. I am trying to figure out if there are any "bad" nick names for either...

Adaline is NMS. Eleanor is cute (Nora as a nickname). I LOOOOVE Ophelia but the Shakespeare character kind ruins it. I wrote a song about her a while back. Super depressing. Do you like Octavia? That was on our list for a while.

Oafy?
Also, there's the whole Shakespearean context: Ophelia goes crazy and drowns herself in the play "Hamlet"....

DH said "smelly ellie" and Oaf for Ophelia. He's good at this kinda thing, sadly.
Thanks ladies!! I'm having such a hard time with names!!! So far Eleanor margaret is our number one, and Ophelia marie for the second. Adaline I think is just too trendy unfortunately. I also love Lennora but my husband HATES it. that was my great grandmothers name.
I think I've posted like 12 times on this thread (not really but I have posted a few times), we don't want to name our baby girl until she is born, but of course I keep changing my mind, and trying to get hubby agree on a name with me is like finding a needle in a haystack. I like old fashioned names. But so far we agree on Estelle
Estelle Ann (my mom's middle name, I have her mom's middle name)
Estelle Gray (I think that kinda flows nicely, but wondering if its just a trendy middle name?
I feel like I should name her middle name after my mom, just to keep the tradition, but I think I really like Gray... but Ann is classic and does go well with Estelle, kinda old-fashiony-vintagy, IMO.

Any opinions? TIA
I do like the flow of Estelle Gray better. With that being said my DD1 is named after my maternal grandmother (both first name). DD2 is DH'S faternal Grandmother (her first DD2's middle name)and DS will be after DH'S maternal grandmother (both middle just altered she is Geraldine and his will be Dean). So I am no help. I went with family names.
Re: Gender and names?!?!?!
Liam
Grayson
Adam
Nathan
Wesley
Tyler
Chase
Jordan
Julian

Ellis Elizabeth (my moms name, my middle name)
Ellis Kate (shortened version of my first name)
Ellis June
edit: any other middle names that sound better?
What about:
Ellis Jane
Ellis Mae

You could use the NN Ellie for Eleanor
