Man-oh-man, I don't know where the hell I've been, but I totally didn't realize Paisley was a real name! My cousin named her daughter that a few years ago, and I thought she was completely making that shiz up this whole time...

I have like a top 5, but every time I bring up names to DH he starts proposing joke names. The same thing happened with DS and DD. So annoying!
My DH does that, drives me nuts!!! I just tell him if he's going to be like that, I'll name the child when he's in the bathroom or getting coffee or something
Boy: DH and I definitely disagree on boy names. He wants Charles, but I'm not feeling it at all. I like Jacob, Nicholas, Benjamin, and Philip with Charles as the middle name. (Charles is my DH's step-dads name)

I've heard it a couple times, but I wouldn't call it a real name.
I'm jealous you all have your names picked out! My husband and I have gotten nowhere with names. We can't agree on anything! And I haven't found anything that I really love. Boo.

Love Aurora! And I vote Benjamin, but I'm biased since that's my DS' name, haha.

I've been toying with the girls name: Rebecca Rose - Becky for short (Rebecca after my great great grandmother and Rose after my fathers mother) or Josephine Rose after my husbands Aunt (Joey for short).
Not wanna bring everyone down, but if something happens are you still gonna keep the same name? I had a mc and already had picked out the name. I think its a really weird feeling to pick the same one again. It was not meant to be for this baby.. You know what i mean?
@birdieMila that's an interesting point. I see where you're coming from. The names I want have been favorites for years, I just need to work on getting DH on my side lol I feel like if I only picked since knowing I was pregnant and then had a MC, I might feel differently and not want to use those names

We had names picked out when we had our miscarriage last year. Since we didn't know the sex of the child, we didn't officially choose a name for it. We are still planning to use the names we chose before since we had the names picked before we even started TTC.

I think if it's early and names are just hypothetical, I could see using them for the next pregnancy. If baby had been given an identity with the names, it might be different.
@birdieMila we had names picked when I had a mc in 2013, and though we never found out the sex, we both felt strongly that it was a boy. I guess we'll never know, but we could never use his name for another baby since we associate it with the baby we lost.

Just the same here! Could't say it better. I had a strong feeling it was a boy to, really dont know why.
