As previous poster said, you should try the search function as there is a lot of great information out there already.
And I just saw this gif and am drooling. Anyone else want some molten chocolate cake now??
I'm just gonna ignore all this drama and drool over this lovely cake! And btw I'm slightly pissed you posted this gif the one night I am without a car looks like I have a new craving I didn't even realize
I have been trying to figure out whyyyyy. Oh why, if something is irrelevant to you or you don't have an answer then why can't you just mind ur own business and not say anything ????

I know it seems like we are not minding our business but there is an actual valid reason for it. Some people have valid medical questions and concerns and when there are 15 "why can't I feel my baby" posts on the first page, it pushes the other girls questions back and no one sees them or gets a chance to answer their concerns. Not to mention those of us who actually help and give advice don't really want to answer the same question 1,000 times, so the most productive thing for everyone is to use the search function and use the wealth of information that's already out there. Nice to meet you by the way. Thanks for stopping by.
Well looks like somebody needs the kittens and rainbows board
My chihuahua is very annoyed By this post
(Sorry for the tiny mess.. He wanted to be comfy so he moved everything!!)
My pup does the same thing! They could be puppy friends and destroy our houses
He had a pillow in his bed and destroyed it.. He also has this thing where he takes receiving blankets that we got him and he covers himself when he's cold.. It's absolutely adorable!!! He doesn't like thick blankets just something to cover himself!!

I answered the exact same question twice yesterday. Its just baffling that people are too lazy to read. In the time it took to make a whole new post dedicated to themselves, this person could have used the search function. And not found 1,2, or even 3, but probably 10 different threads on the exact same thing. Its extremely tiresome and quite frankly annoying to answer the same questions repeatedly when the answers are at people's fingertips. Its just laziness.
Wow, why are you all so mean and cliquey? You realize you are exemplifying a really negative stereotype of women, right? Is this really the world you want to live in and for your babies to be born into? Change starts with you.
Change starts when we start expecting people to take personal responsibility for their lives. Change starts when we stop accepting ignorance and stupidity as humanity's default. Change starts when we teach someone to think for themselves instead of asking questions that are answered in every single resource on pregnancy available to them.
I'm new here. I will most likely repost things. Although; I solemnly swear to always use the search function and never, ever, ever ask this question! Nice to meet all of you.

In addition, if you do accidentally re-post, just say, "whoops" and move on. These things become bitch fests when the OP is all, 'I do what I want! It's my world and you all just have to deal with it!" And then these random people who have never contributed a thing, ever, jump in and they're all, "you girls are just bitches and you're ruining the human race, blah blah blah"

Truth. Also, if we start turning your post into a food thread, I swear on my life, WE'RE NOT BEING MEAN. Just jump in with your own inappropriate gifs about molten chocolate or tacos or whatever floats your boat. Welcome to the board!

Why, oh why can't some folks recognize that this forum is not a doctor, search engine or Facebook? As others have said, redundant questions that anyone soon to be a parent should be capable of researching on their own and AW posts pushing valuable topics off page 1 are frowned upon. If I have a medical question, I call my doctor. If I'm curious about general pregnancy symptoms that I need not bother my doctor with, I pickup a book or ask Mr Google. If I want to AW (which BTW I don't care to do as I recognize it's not all about me), I go to Facebook. If my reminding someone of the aforementioned prevents a repeat situation, that is one more member of the community whose important topic won't get bumped down by absurdity. The larger problem is that some ladies here don't see beyond themselves to the impact had on others. That is the true tragedy.

Speaking of. . . Why has no one been talking about bread pudding? BF does a white chocolate and blueberry bread pudding that is to freaking die for. He's making it up for 4th of July with a raspberry sauce to go on top. I don't know whether to admire him or take a frying pan to his head since I can have approximately 1 bite of that dessert with my GD.

I have NEVER had bread pudding before. It always sounded unappetizing to me, but that sounds amazing.

Speaking of... I just had the most amazingly fudgy brownie with my lunch today. Totally worth the added bloat.
You people are bullies. I express my feelings and concerns about my pregnancy in a forum and I get basically slaughtered with memes making fun of me when I stand up. And made fun of for asking a friggen questions. smh....
if you're frustrated with my question - than move along and comment elsewhere. no need for you to come up in here and make fun of a person for asking a question and then further to that - MOB the person and belittle them when they stand up for their initial question. You are all being reported and if the Bump doesn't do anything about it than this is obviously not the kind of forum/community I want to be a part of.

And yes. this is why its hard to be a female....
The report button is not a dislike button. THAT is in the bump guidelines.

Yeah, um... That's not how reporting is supposed to work. You have to have a reason to report something (i.e. spam, abusive language, etc.); members expressing their frustration with the twelfth movement post in three days is not a valid reason.
I really wish people would stop tossing the word "bullying" around like it's nothing. Bullying is a 12 year old girl who commits suicide because she's being called names and constantly harassed for months on end by her peers at school, on facebook, on her street., etc. It's not an adult telling you to use the search function.

OK first off lets address your false accusations of the responders here. No one bullied or made fun of you. There were literally no memes posted mocking you (only food related gifs when folks tried to change the topic). Just because you didn't like the answers provided doesn't mean you get to make false accusations.
Second, several folks pointed you in the direction to where you can receive a wealth of info on your Q. Had you really taken the time to digest the guidelines you would note that new members are encouraged to lurk to get to the know the community (we like discussing food BTW), use the search function and not misuse the report button simply because you don't like a response.
Third, several of us have expressed very valid reasons for not having individual topics on the same subject (there have been several movement threads lately). It is the attitude of entitlement that is hurting our and future generations. We seem to be in the "me me me" generation and the first response folks have is "I didn't get my way, so now I'm going to complain about/report you all". This same attitude is rubbing off on the next generation. A great baseball couch in my area was just fired as parents complained a level up about their high schooler not getting playing time and it "isn't fair". Kids at my karate organization who train hard to earn first place at a tournament can't receive said trophy/recognition because it "isn't fair" to the kids who didn't deserve to medal so everyone just gets a freakin ribbon. This attitude comes from the parents and it is exhibited frequently on this board. "It's not fair... I didn't get the attention/answer I wanted so I will complain and ruin the experience for everyone else". It's so sad.

No.
It's hard to be a woman because we get paid less for doing the same job.
It's hard to be a woman because when we walk down a dark street alone we fear our lives and safety because we are easier to physically take down.
It's hard to be a woman in a man's field of work because people call you baby and sweetheart if you're polite. A bitch if you're assertive.
It's hard to be a woman because if you wear a cute outfit and a man says something that makes you uncomfortable or sexually assaults you it's your fault because you were "asking for it."
It's hard to be a woman because some women like to play the victim when other women have an established community where we encourage one another. When the former present the argument "it's hard to be a woman" over silly disagreements like standard protocol and manners it cheapens the sentiment and makes the people who need to hear it care less.
Personally attack other members, The Bump or Group of Individuals. Admins reserve the right to act on any post or actions that they interpret to fall into the following categories: Hazing new members Swearing at another member to deliberately hurt or offend her/him Using gifs or memes in a harassing manner in public posts or Private Messages (PMs) Behaving in an excessively rude, aggressive, intimidating, profane or vulgar manner Escalating a situation and/or causing a negative experience for the community"

Hi there,
Due to the arguments in the thread will be closing it from all further comments.
Please be advised that continuing to create threads related to this will be grounds for warning and/or removal from The Bump forums.
We thank you for your understanding.
