Wow, women can be such b*tches seriously. This is how you answer too someone giving a helpful tip?! If you don't care about "getting your body back" and this tip doesn't apply to you then don't bother to respond. To even MENTION the fact that she has a preemie and should be focused on that.....just SHAME ON YOU!!! Women need to stop hating.
To OP, truly no good deed goes unpunished. Ignore all the haters please
Someone posts about "getting their body back" and we're not supposed to bring up that she had a preemie? I was trying to say it nicely before, but now I'll just come out and say it..... Of COURSE you'll be able to get your body back better. You're skipping the worst stretching and body ruining weeks! Tips from someone who was already thin and did NOT have their body go through the last entire trimester of pregnancy are like getting 'tips' on losing weight through exercise from someone who had gastric bypass.
Definitely not the same. Yes, she had her baby early but her body still went through a whole lot of changes including weight gain, stretching, and organs shifting positions.
Not nearly to the extent of someone who carries to full term. To say it's the same is just false. AN ENTIRE TRIMESTER. The one with the most weight gain and stress on the body.

At 29 weeks my belly was barely a bump. 10 weeks later, I looked like a swallowed a whole watermelon. There's a HUGE difference between a 29 week belly and a full term belly.
I'm a firm believer in belly bands. I used them after both my deliveries and I feel like they did help with my recovery and feeling comfortable and even flattening my tummy afterwards. But I agree with @peony1982
For everyone saying, because she didnt carry full term, having a baby didnt make her body any different? Whos not to say, she didnt have the exact same streching and weight gain, as someone who carried to 40 weeks? Everybodys body different. As to comment on her preemie, to judge the actions she takes after something uncontrollable has happened to her is absurd, and quit frankly no ones buisness, nontheless to comment negatively on it! To be honest, I admire her strength for moving forward happily and productively.
Why cant woman learn to build one another up instead of tearing eachother a new asshole. If her views dont apply to you, and her advice isnt something youre interested in keep it moving, like mannnny stated, "she JUST had the baby" congratulate her on her new arrival and go on with your day!

Because I have eyes and can see her profile pic and the posted pic with waist trainer.. Nobody said her body didn't change. However, her body DID NOT CHAMGE AS MUCH AS SOMEONE WHO WILL CARRY TO 40 weeks. I can say that with the utmost confidence. Because science. Growing a child to 2lbs 4 oz =\= growing a child to 7+ lbs.
This post has spiraled so far away from the original intention it's crazy. Consider the source ladies! @pmercedes is a long time poster on here who has been the polar opposite of drama. She has always tried to create fun threads, keep the mood up around here and keep drama down. She clearly created this thread to share with everyone what she is finding to be helpful to her. She never compared herself physically to someone who carried to term or made any crazy claims...she is sharing her experience in hopes that maybe one of us can benefit from it too in the coming months.
I also don't understand why it matters that she wants her pre-baby body back! Don't we all?! I don't plan on celebrating my baby by having a jiggly tummy or going soft and in no way does this mean I am ashamed of carrying a child or of my forever changed body. It also has nothing to do with the way society looks at me or pressures to be perfect etc...It doesn't mean she loves her baby any less or is being neglectful to her in any way either!
@pmercedes congrats on your baby girl! I haven't been on here in weeks and am so happy to hear that both you and Makenzie are doing well! I am so happy for you mama!
Does that mean her overall feelings and recovery can't possiblyyyyy be the same as someone whos carried full term? Shes posted something thats working for HER recovery process! To go out of your way to protest her post recovery period, is crazy. Live and let live. @Peony1972

She posted about "getting her body back", with one line thrown in about surgical recovery, offering it up as a "get back in shape" for us! I'm allowed to have the opinion that it's weird we're getting beauty tips instead of baby updates. I call out superficiality when I see it, reread my posts. My words were twisted at every turn
@ARLM I'm sorry and you are? You might want to stop running your mouth & calling people names. No one here has called anyone names till you came and commented. The only drama I'm seeing is from you!! Coming here spouting your sh*t. Nobody has said anything remarkably mean. Everyone has congratulated OP on the birth of her child and wished her well. So tell me where is "this drama"
@peony1982 so what if she posted about getting her body back? Wtf has it got to do with you? Why are you so bothered? It's not your body or your baby. You've made your point about a million time. WE GET IT.

Why have you piped up now? Was the comment made at you personally? No, so butt out. I wasn't talking to you. As for 'who am I' who are you? Ohhhh I know ivyimafuckingbitchblue hahahaha

Like a dog with a bone, you.
Then why do people keep tagging me to argue about it?
Thanks for all your input to this board....

@melCelebrano cos some women on here are just proper bitches and like to repeat themselves over and over and over again, despite them making 'their' point.
Seems as soon as there is 'drama' their on it. They can't just disagree and move on, they thrive on the drama. It's laughable really, sad, pathetic bitches.
This post has made my momma blood boil. For one thing, maybe the original poster doesn't want photos and bunch of medical updates online. Secondly, sometimes people need to take a 5 minute break from the stress in their life and post about something relatively unrelated to the major stress in her life. Thirdly, I am 28 weeks today and my body has changed a lot, am I planning what I can do as soon as this baby is out? Absolutely. Does that make me a bad mom? No, it makes me someone who has hard time dealing with the body changes and someone who has been too sick to maintain my workouts.
@ivyblue92 wasn't aware YOU were peony1982 as well ahhh makes sense now
Not same person. But I do know that Ivy is a good person, funny, and I believe lives in the UK (for the record, I live in new England)You now how I know that? We both contribute here. You've posted only to this thread. So either you're a troll with a second name or you have contributed ZERO to this community. Either way....

@Ivyblue92 wasn't aware it was about you either lol. Don't have a problem with people having different opinions, but I do have a problem when that opinion is repeated constantly, creating drama.
And don't tell me what to do, silly girl.
Go hit the report button peony1982 sorry err ivyblue92... Ohh so many user names... Must get confusing for you??

@Ivyblue92 omg don't make me laugh. I wasn't even talking to you! So butt out love.
I haven't even mentioned the op? So how is that being bitchy? Your comment about how she should be looking after her premmie was disgusting and nasty. Like she isn't doing the best she can for her baby.
@BumpAdmin - can we handle this CLEAR troll account? If she reported me (or Ivy, who I am not - anyone who has been around can figure that out) I'm expecting I won't be here much longer, because that's what the baiters always seem to accomplish. Bye, friends
